Dakota Fanning is a Cheerleader
Dakota Fanning spends the afternoon cheerleading her school team Vikings at The Campbell Hall Episcopal on Saturday in Studio City, Calif.
“I am a cheerleader,” the 14-year-old actress has said. “Now everybody always wants me to do cheers. It’s so funny… Cheerleading is so much fun, especially at your school because you get such a sense of school spirit and you’re proud of your school. I love that. I’m the one that’s on top of the (human) pyramid; I’m the flyer, so that’s fun too.”

this is what a 14 year old girl should look like!! *ahem* ali lohan take some notes on this girl. honestly, i think ali can make it in biz if she knew how to work with her image that mothers will approve.
i think dakota is really lucky to have such an axpensive bag like that…. almost everyone has the balenciaga bags, ashley tisdale, withney, lauren conrad, paola hernandez, miley cyrus and now dakota fanning. i wish i had one!
She is really talented. At least she is doing something normal for someone her age rather than drinking or doing drugs,or posing in her underwear (cough cough)like some actresses around her age have done before. I really hope she doesn’t loose this charm. She isn’t a “looker” but you can’t rpredetermine how she will look like in the future.

That school is private and has security. Whoever did it will deffinately get charged.

This is really sick. Those pictures were taken on a PRIVATE CAMPUS at a PRIVATE SCHOOL. Every entry and exit has security. There are also other girls pictured who are NOT public citizens and did not five their permission to be photographed and reprinted all over the internet. The paparazzi were trespassing. These photos could not have been taken from anywhere else but INSIDE the grounds of Campbell Hall.
Of course she’s a cheerleader. She could be the worst in her school but she was chosen because of who she is.
But I still love her acting.
The paparazzi probably had telephoto lenses and weren’t inside the school grounds. Plenty of celeb shots have other people in the background - you don’t need someone’s permission to put their photo on the internet. If they did every teen would get arrested for having myspace accounts.

It’s so nice to hear about young girls like Dakota, and Emma Watson who seem to live normal lives and aren’t riddled with drama and scandal…unlike the recent crop of Disney sh*ts.
I think this is utterly wrong. I don’t hear of the press taking pictures of other young teen celebs at their high schools so why invade Dakota’s privacy specifically? It’s wrong, wrong, wrong. Not to mention they gave out her school name which should be illegal to protect her rights. They just put everyone at her school and her at risk. Idiots. This obsession with children in the press is going too far. First the press reporting on Suri cruise and the toddler’s fashion and being on the covers, and now poor Dakota can’t lead a half normal life. It’s almost sick and borderline pedo of the press to behave this way!

Bess, unfortunately I have a son at that school, so I know where those photos were taken. You would 100% have to be inside the school grounds. The school is surrounded by the Freeway and trees on all sides.
Security is going to have to get much tighter now for the safety and sake of the other students, aged 5 through 18.
this is completely illegal!!!! how did a photographer get away with getting inside our school in the first place..
