Suri Cruise Loves Sundaes & Cones
Suri Cruise gets one leg up on dad Tom Cruise while out for some ice cream on Saturday afternoon at Sundaes & Cones in the East Village neighborhood of New York City.
Looks like Suri is showing Tom who’s boss! (She’s wearing Janie and Jack’s Silk Rose Print dress.)

It’s very odd that every time Suri is photographed in NYC she is NEVER wearing a sweater or jacket, and her dresses always seem out-of-season (more appropriate for Spring or Summer). Weirdly enough, Katie and Tom always seem to be dressed in normal clothes for the end of October in the Northeast, but their little girl is never dressed as warmly as they dress themselves! Even if Suri insists upon wearing dresses (and some kids are very opinionated), they could dress her in long-sleeved dresses or jumpers with warmer blouses or turtlenecks underneath. Brrrrrrr! Poor baby!
Is it just me, but does Tom look like he has a tan? His face seems darker than Suri’s in the close-ups.
She sure has pretty dresses, but she needs a sweater and a bang trim. In the last picture, you can’t even see he eyes.

They were on my block and I walked right by them. Although Suri wasn’t wearing a jacket, Tom did cover her up with a blanket as he held her. I’m sure she was still cold with the weather.

A dress IS normal, #4. The word you’re looking for is casual. And not wearing nice clothes doesn’t equal a humble person. (Also, the Jolie-Pitt kids are always dressed so raggedy. Since wearing or not wearing nice clothes won’t teach these kids that know are rich anyway about humility, might as well give them nice clothes).

I don’t care if they put her all the time with those loose ballerina shoes which don’t sustain the young fragile growing bones, she will grow to have some weak calves and feet and will surely have recurrent tendinties as she grows, but still that’s their problem.
What i care for as a responsible adult and future mum is that they make sure that this 2 years old little girl catch some cold, flu, pneumonia and put her in a position where her body resistance is weaken to fight back. Mind you but she could actually die from pneumonia and I never ever saw a 2 years old, at this season in that part of the USA dressed in a way that she risks 5 times more than the others to catch cold and worse than that. When you know that babies her age can’t get all the medecine adults have to fight back like antibiotocs, it’s a shame and disgiusting what her parents puts her throudh, putting a show of a mini model instead of taking care properly of their little one by dressing her accordingly so that she doesn’t fall ill.

Funny thing is, she doesn’t look cold at all. She looks happy, well fed, much loved, beautiful and very active. I wouldn’t compare Suri to Angelina’s kids. We absolutely don’t know what happens in the Brangelina house, so it’s silly. Just the other day there was a post about Angelina giving Maddox his first dagger or something. Holly crap. #121, maybe you haven’t noticed this, but Tom has not moved to NY with Katie full-time. He has been flying back and forth between L.A. and NY so he can spend time with all of children. First of all, I live in NYC and it was like 55 degrees yesterday! Why is that baby outside in just a summer dress with bare legs and short sleeves!?!?! It was freakin cold out!! Any normal parent would have had tights and sweater on the kid. That’s not a matter of opinion. It’s just common sense, which apparently, Katie and Tom completely lack. I don’t care whether they put the kid in dresses or pants, but they should be covering her appropriately for the weather. As for saying she has a blanket…..it’s not on her and what 2 year old stays wrapped in a blanket.
Also, to the idiots who say “maybe Suri only likes dresses” or “maybe Suri hates sweaters”, thats why children have parents! You don;t allow a 2 year old to dictate how they are taken care of! They aren’t capable. You do what is best for them. Obviously Tom and Katie are not capable of that either.
Tom, stop dragging your kid out for show. Be a real parent, dress her properly, have someone (one of your 12 nannies maybe?) have her bangs trimmed so she can actually see and act like a responsible ADULT!

Hi temp in NYC on Saturday was barely 60. I live in NYC and everybody had sweaters or jackets on. Why can’t they put a jacket on Suri? I’d never take a 2 year old outside in without a jacket in this weather. Maybe they just like to show off her designer dresses.

Suri looks cute.. if I didnt know about the weather in NYC, I wouldnt worry about her style of dressing.. Since it is fall and the temp is supposedly in the high 50s (fahrenheit) , a spring dress looks odd. Why doesnt Katie shop in NYC, there are scores of specialty boutiques to shop from and they will have dresses in fabric suited for the season.. i.e. if Suri only wants to be in dresses..
Suri Cruise is likely autistic. My autistic daughter always had the same beautifully serene quiet look, as well.

bobs, I actually watched that video last night. She doesn’t talk at all in the video. In fact, seeing her lack of emotion in this video really concerns me.
I just worry that if she IS autistic, she will meet the same fate as Jett Travolta.

6 mos ago, I noticed Suri’s lack of emotion while watching a bit about her on tv, and instantly was remonded of my daughter at that age. Since then, it seems as though Suri may be regressing into autism even further, and I am beginning to see other signs as well, the unkept hair, the lack of a jacket, not being able to walk on her own often, ignoring other children at the playground, never making eye contact with her parents.
She appears the same way my daughter did at that same age- until we got her the right treatment!
I pray that I am dead wrong, however I am not the only one who has noticed this about little Suri.

Tom whispered in her ear “say thank you” and she said quietly…thank you! Watch her lips and watch Tom when he’s holding her right before they get into the car. I’m sorry, but why are we making such harsh statements about Suri. To say she is autisic is a big statement when we don’t even know her. I couldn’t imagine what life is like for this little 2&1/2 year old??? Whenever she is in the public eye with her parent(s), she is always being mobbed by the paps and it has to be upsetting to her since many times she just wants to hide in her parent(s) arms. She is an adorable little girl who seems healthy and happy when she is with her family and that is normal!
The only problems that I have with these pictures are that she needs to be dressed warmer with even a little sweater like Tom is wearing and that would be fine. The dress is very pretty and if it is a spring dress, then just cover her little arms with a little red sweater and she would still look “in style”. The issue with her hair is that when her hair is over her eyebrows, it’s time for a trim. I would think that if her hair was wet, it would be close to her little nose. I really think that she would be much happier with her bangs cut as well. I really doubt they are letting them grow out since it seems that they would be already parting her hair and using clips or even a head band. I’m guessing but I think a trim is probably days away now.

Stating that a child appears autistic is not a hateful statement. If you have autism in the family, then you would understand the signs. It’s no more “hateful” than stating that Suri has brown hair.

I don’t feel that way at all. I think to make an assumption about a little girl you don’t even know, is just wrong. Autism isn’t as simple as calling someone’s hair brown, that is just plain silly. Suri seems to live the life of a normal 2&1/2 little girl with VERY famous parents that “we” as regular people can’t imagine. If I were her at her age, I think I would be worse and would be hinding in my parents arms as well. Kids want to feel safe and I can’t imagine strangers screaming and taking pictures all the time is just a normal way of life. I think she does much better than most kids at her age would do. When I was her age I was very shy and was always told that you don’t talk to strangers.
I just don’t understand why anyone can make medical predictions on kids that they don’t even know. I think it’s just uncalled for.
