What happened to having a baby party for the baby. I don’t understand why parents have so many adults at a baby party. I have friends who do this all the time. I really don’t want to celebrate a babies first b-day unless it is a close family member or my niece or nephew. When I do have a baby, the first birthday will be just family. Mom, Dad, Grandmas Grandpas. Too many adults. And why is the focus on Jennifer. Ellen, Portia, Courtney and others were there as well. I find them more note worthy. just my feelings
I find it very odd that soooo much is being written with soooo much detail about Jennifer and John being back together but there are no pictures of them even within twenty feet of each other. Last time they were “together” we got pictures of them every other second. I also saw the preview for “Marley and Me” when I went to the movies yesterday. Jenn’s face looks very unnatural and the movie looks lame.
A child’s birthday party is supposed to be all about the CHILD and their little friends. This is just so typical of Hollywood stars who always want to be the center of attention. Why in the world are all these celebrities at this party when most of them did not have little children they were bringing? Is it any wonder why Hollywood kids grow up with so many “issues” when they were not allowed to have normal childhoods? Why would Ellen, Portia, Jennifer and most of the others be at a child’s birthday party when they are childless??
a kid’s 1st birthday party is THE most boring event.

It’s customary for adults to come together to celebrate a baby first year of life, it is a great milestone, especially if it’s been a healthy first year. Usually anyone with young children will bring them to the party. Since Sacha and Isla did not grow up in America they probably don’t have many friends here who are having children at the same age-judging by the pics it’s friends from the entertainment industry. It looks like a pretty sizeable group of friends.

One year old parties are to celebrate the child making it through the first year of life. The parents usually invite family and close friends. If any of those close friends and family are single that doesn’t bar them from attending. Single people also love children even if they don’t want them or can’t have children. No one would invite someone who hates children to celebrate a child. Your blog is quite immature. Just because we don’t know who you are is not an excuse to stop using your mind. We may not be discussing stem cell research but that’s no reason to throw logic and common sense out the door.

Hmm, suddenly tabloids are a teeter about Aniston’s new guy, then I saw trailers for her film Marley and Me. All fall into place.
Whenver Aniston has a film coming out, there will suddenly be stories of her with a new man in her life. The paparazzis are alerted and pics of her in various states of undress or skimpy outfits and this new man in her life and endless blogs about how happy she is and how great her man is. blah blah blah…
Then the film bombs and the man in her life also disappears. Normal service is resumed. But from now until the film opens, we have to endure. So predictable.
These people love B and A so much but if, and I say if B and A were to ever split their fans would turn on them; pick sides quickly and demolish each of them in the blogs. The blame game would go into overdrive.
I enjoy watching Aniston act. I think she is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t think you have to look like a supermodel to have a fan club. Some people also admire her maturity and dignity and that’s not superficial.
According to OK John arrived first, Jen then arrived with the CoxArquettes. OK is frequently wrong, so who knows if this is true.
Sacha and Isla rented Jen’s home on Blue Jay Way in the HHills until Jen moved back in with Chris McMillian in 2005. They then bought a home in the HHills home.
Seems like the party was as much a general get together as a birthday party.
Jen hags rejoice, Jen and her man are going strong. She has the man of her choice. She is not alone and unhappy as you all seem to believe she has been. You now have nothing to complain about.

Hi Jade, hang in there, sister. I’m finally over my cold but it lasted for a MONTH, would you believe it?! I’ve NEVER had a cold last so long. Something is going around for real. A lot of people in my office have been getting sick. Two things helped: 1) Claritin and 2) Afrin nasal spray. Both over-the-counter Rx. My doctor recommended both and they worked for me. Feel better soon.

Try the Claritin and the Afrin. Also good if you’re very congested is get in a hot shower and sit in the steam for 15 minutes. That always works.

OK! is reporting exclusively that there was a sleepover last night at John Mayer’s. She was dropped off by her security and apparently had a small bag with her, notable because when they were together during the summer, they’d always stay at her place and never his.

This is a birthday party, not a photo shoot. The press shouldn’t
even be hanging around. I can’t wait to see Marley and Me. I
read the book and it is very good. She and Owen will do a good
job in the movie. I very seldom go to movies but don’t plan to miss
this one. In fact the whole family is going.

They are doing re-shoots on some scenes, trying to work editing magic but the reality is, it is poorly acted, badly written and the trailers released so far are atrocious.
A few people have seen rough cuts, and can’t get over how bad it is. That first silly trailer released a month or so ago was an omen of things to come.
I was in a focus group last week for it, it was bad. I don’t know what they can do with it. jen was okay on it. she’s like straight man to owen and the do though. anyone could play the part. but the movie was just stupid. I wanted to sleep. had worked all day.
X-17 has pixs of a party tonite also with Jen and CCox and Norman.
Must be nice to just party party party all the time.
I guess Jen brought her personal photograph to take pictures and leak them to the media. This dried up ***** is hooking up with any event connected to children. Jen must think this will save her dying career pathetic career.

Her life hasn’t changed in 15 years. Seriously. You can go back 3, 5, 7, 10 years and you will find pics of her, her and Tate Donavan or her and Brad hanging out smoking and drinking at A, B, C and D-list celeb patios in their Malibu or HW neighborhoods. Lame. Only thing different now is that she tries to follow in the footsteps of her ex, so now she’s showing up at charitable dinners and what not occasionally. I guess we can thank Angelina for that. It was only a few years ago, in her late thirties she said she wasn’t up on current events and that charity ‘was not her thing.’ Glad she’s found some purpose beyond crap rom-coms, even if it’s the bare minimal of what most celebrities do.

That’s strange. No one has gone anywhere to do re-shoots and
that is going to be good. It is about a dog (Marley) which was a
best selling book, so the writing must have been good to all the
people who bought it. It’s a true story about a family and their
dog. Granted if you don’t like animals you probably won’t like it.
I have the book and I certainly am not going to miss the movie.
It’s funny and very well written and really true to life.
Not surprised at poor reviews of Marley and Me. Animals are always the stars in Animal Movies like Babe. Once your costars are the title animals you are on a downward spiral in the movies or just coming out of rehab or a troubled time in your life. Owen is still shaky and Jen’s last 2 movies (Management & Traveller) don’t even have distributors.
You can spin this any way you want to but for an almost 40 year old rom com actor this is not good news. If she were doing OK in movies she would have a studio supporting her and none seem willing to do so. Her production company has no greenlit (funded) projects and seems inactive at this time. She was just a figurehead at Plan B, the 2 Brad’s ran that company, it does not appear that she knows how to run a production company.
She may do well on 30 Rock and if so then she needs to strike while she can and go back to TV.
No need to get angry, I am just being realistic. Oscar winners who are great talents are now on TV and they are not ashamed to be there.

i absolutely loved the book, marley and me. i read it twice. i decided not to watch it because i have yet to enjoy a movie aniston was in and i’ve watched most of them. i thought along came polly was okay but it was funny because i find ben stiller funny. i just have a feeling the movie will ruin the book for me.
Just because a book was good does not mean a movie based on that movie will be good. It depends on the script, the actors, the editing, the synergy of cast and crew, and the director. Owen has always been paired with cute younger women and/or other comic actors. Some of his movies have done well and some have not. Jen’s successful movies have always been with strong comic actors, she can’t carry a film, Owen is not a strong actor.
I have no crystal ball, this movie may do well or not, but as a parent I would not take my child nor do I want to see to see a movie that has a sad ending like Bambi on Christmas Day.
It probably would have been better to release this movie in October or November.
I use to try to like Jens movies but I don’t like one of them. she is flat in all of her movies. The other stars have to carry the movies.
I didn’t realize that animal movies meant your career was in the
pot. Beverly Hills Chihuahua sold over $69 mil in three weeks
and Brad’s movie is about $10 mill below that in six weeks
and it even had George Clooney in it. That must mean they
are really in trouble when a animal movie out sold them.
No way I will take my kid to Jen’s dog movie either. Jen is out of luck because she also will not get kids in the theater like Beverly Hills Chihuahua. So her movie will earn even less than Brads. Do all you big talk now because when this flop is release you will not want to say one word.
Jared if this is a birthday, you should post the birthday girl and parents. why this ugly fame ***** young men playground?

BHC is a happy Disney movie, not a sad one. It can be enjoyed for itself, the dogs talk, and it is a comedy and it is funny. It is like Babe, has a great ending, all ends well, one in comedy peril is rescued.
Marley & Me is not the same as BHC. It has a very sad downer ending. I read the book. I will not see the movie.
Be honest. How many people can even name the actors who provide the voices of the dogs in BHC? Maybe M&M would have been better done in the dog’s voice like BHC.
And since you must bring up BAR, it is R rated, meaning it is restricted, and has outperformed the studio’s estimate. It has only opened in a few markets overseas and has already earned 30 million plus outside the US market. BAR is already the Coen’s 2nd highest performing movie ever. Studio is very happy with its earnings.
You can’t compare an R rated movie to a movie like Marley & Me which will have no restrictions. Well you can try but only a simpleton would do that.
Don’t be so defensive. Wait and see how M&M does.
oh i wouldn’t worry about jenn’s box office numbers, she has enough obsessed fans who would spend their whole paycheck watching the movie daily and maybe even every showing daily. the same goes with smartwater, her fans probably feel very classy when they bathe in that water. afterall jenn does need the money to finance her next lipo and rhinoplasty for her perpetually “deviated septum”. she’ll be going for more mexican vacations where she can get work done on her face and body more discreetly.

Jennifer is gorgeous as always, she is such a great person, everyone loves her, she is a class act.
What is great and classy about this woman? To be publicly dumped by a man and going back for more humiliation is classy in your book, then you must be stupid just like her. She has no dignity and no class, no one with common sense will be so stupid to back to a man who publicly humiliated her, no matter how desparate you are. She has to be really desparate for love.

That’s the plain truth. I lost count of all the good books I’ve read which have been made into really dreadful movies. OTOH, it’s very unusual for a bad book to be made into a good movie. “Jaws” was one rare exception.
