Katie Holmes: Ripped Jeans Are In Again!

what the heck

i never knew they went “out.” but i’m from california where we wear flip-flops year-round, so we like our jeans to be air conditioned as well. :)

Au Contraire! Ripped jeans as worn by Holmes are most certainly NOT back in style.

That outfit is a hot mess.

Holmes cannot seem to master casual wear.

The handbag is formal and tailored, to be worn with a suit ( the jacket looks to be part of one in her closet) or with a much dressier ensemble. The suit jacket sleeve rolled up to showcase the lining is tacky.

The shoes are all wrong and should never be worn with a pegged split hemline.

The jeans look atrocious on Katie, they don’t accentuate her figure at all and add 20 pounds to her thighs.

Corrected:
Add a casual slouchy bag, ballet flats, and a casual jacket to match the t-shirt, cotton scarf, and jeans.

She looks like she may have come off the “high horse, i’m so great” attitude that she had prior to opening night. Katie certainly lives in a fantasy world.

Is it possible that when Tom bought her way in the play that he didn’t tell her and she though all along that she got the part because of her acting “ability”????

The reasons that I have to stalk and correct every negative comment about TomKat and Suri :

1st, I am just a hired help at the Sea Org and I am only doing this to kill time til they have an opening at Wendy’s.

2nd, I am addicted to the freak show just like the next person. I want to defeat every constructive advices here lest Katie may take heed of any of you sane people and kill the freak show.

So, she signed the life-contract with him hoping that he would make her girlhood dreams come true and she has her fingers crossed and mind set that it will bring eternal happiness. When she hits 40-45 and looks back on losing herSELF, we’ll see.

Duh. So does everybody’s mother, and long before Katie started wearing them.

She is not a trendsetter, never was one and never will be one. She’s a hanger-on.

Comparing Nicole and Penelope (and Mimi) to Katie is like comparing a Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Rolls Royce to a Ford Escort.

She has “to do” Thanksgiving. Let’s see….she must mean that the hired help will be off so somehow she’ll have to manage the following on her own:

1) Wake up and call the paparazzi to tell them what time she and Suri will leave her apartment so she can use Suri for a photo op;

2) Wake up Suri extra early to dress her in her favorite summer outfit so they can go outside in the 40 degree weather and wait for the paparazzi to show up for the pre-arranged Thanksgiving photo op;

3) Grab the first 3 items of clothing she can put her hands on and dress herself;

4) Put on the mismatched outfit (without combing her hair or applying makeup);

5) Open the door to walk outside;

6) Walk down the sidewalk like she is going somewhere while holding Suri’s hand and looking for the cameras;

7) Wave down a cab to take her to a restaurant;

5) Read a menu and order at a restaurant;

6) Lift a fork to feed herself. (Having to cut turkey or ham will require an afternoon nap and maybe a visit to a Chiropractor);

7) Carry Suri while leaving the restaurant. Extra energy will be required if she has to turn Suri towards the cameras so that the paps can get a frontal shot of Suri while getting her face in the photo as well.

8) Possibly sticking her finger down her throat to throw up the Thanksgiving dinner. Can’t eat too many calories;

9) Finally, if she has time, she might put a warm outfit on Suri or change her dirty diaper. However, if she doesn’t feel like it, Suri’s dirty diaper can wait to be changed when the hired help returns on Friday morning.

Boy, she really has a challenging Thanksgiving Day. lol

No she was not cast because she was good. She is mediocre. Believe me there is no way she would have gotten that part if she a) wasn’t Mrs. Tom Cruise and b) if she would have had to auditioned for it. NYC has one of the most talented pools of actors for live theatre and I’ve probably seen most of them that play on broadway. Katie in no way measures up to any of them.
Anyone who is familiar with NYC theatre would tell you the same thing. But you are so closed minded that you would never ever be able to recognize true talent because you are so fixated on TomKat.
When I saw AMS I absolutely cringed at her performance. There is no way she would have ever gotten the part if she wasn’t MRS. TOM CRUISE. I also saw Kidman in the play she did. No comparison. Kidman shone because she has true talent. Katie is a small screen actress and should stay there.
And Dog, Cat, Horse whoever you are–I see upwards of 50 plays a year and consider myself someone who has a highly informed opinion and in my opinion you have no clue what talent is and don’t know what you are talking about when you defend her performance. The only ones that could like it would be her die hard fans. Anyone with an open mind would cringe with embarrassment for her.
