I would absolutely never vote for McCain/Palin but she was a good sport to do the show.

I’ll miss Tina F doing the Palin skits when this election is over.Toooooo funny!

Sarah Palin a feminist role model? HAHAHAHAH That’s one of the funnier things I’ve heard said about her.

Hopefully, in 17 days cutesy Governor Palin can go back to Alaska and finish her job there, while keeping an eye on Russia from her back porch. She certainly has provided some entertaining moments in what should be a very serious political campaign. Tho’ IMO TIna Fey is a much better Sarah Palin, than Sarah herself.

I was on the fence about who to vote for, but McCain’s choice of Palin made my decision for me. If that’s the kind of judgment McCain uses for major decisions, I don’t want him in the White House.

thats what i like @ 10/19/2008 at 4:02 pm

Loved it and LOVED HER!

SarahImpalin @ 10/19/2008 at 4:10 pm

Sarah Sixpack wants to “not blink” in dealing with Putin, bin Ladin and the toughest leaders in the world, but when it comes to a simple press conference, even a fake one on SNL, she blinks. How can you handle KGB agent Putin if you can’t sit down with a reporter for ten minutes?

I think the reason she went on the show is because of her delusional vanity. Millions more people to say how “hot” she is. About as deep as she gets.

SARAH PALIN WAS AWESOME. I love someone who can look right at the idiots that make fun of her and get the last laugh! She is amazing!!!!!!!!

This ***** needs to sit her ass down. She is a racist ***** just like mccain and knows that she will probally end up winning just becasue she is white. All i can say is laugh now becasue no one will be laughing when mccan/ palin messes up the economy even worst than what it already is.

You dont want to vote obama, fine, but you better wake the F…u…k up and realilze Mccain/ Palin is no better.

Lets all sit and watch as this country goes down teh drain w/ another 4 years of republicans in the office.
PS:

just remember if mccain gets sick or crocks is it Palin you really want running this country? I think not

As the election campaign goes along, I really like Sarah Palin more and more!

What a great sense of humor she has!!! Good for her!

she’s probably a good person, but not good enough to go into the whitehouse, let alone, be a president of the US in a heartbeat.

oh by the way jesse, mccain forgot to wear his flagpin TWICE on the debates, whereas, obama had his constantly. ohhhhh….

She was just trying to down-play the embarassement. She KNOWS that what Tina Fey is hurting her reputation and ridiculing her, so by going on SNL herself she’s attempting to tell the public that the portrayal is simple a joke.
.
But it’s not…….so OBAMA/BIDEN 08

Palin does NOT want to take away women’s rights…good flippin’ God. I mean JUST because she is a Christian…

OK people…REMEMBER your SENATORS and CONGRESSMEN and WOMEN are the ones to look at and you know what??? The DEMOCRATS are dominate in both…THERE SHOULD BE SERIOUS TERM limits….Ohhh yes….they are the real spenders and liars….

Undecided @ 10/19/2008 at 6:38 pm

AMAZING….Reading these posts….All of you saying the most hateful vile things about Sarah Palin…AND YOU ALL WANT CHANGE? To me you all sound like a bunch a seriously angry uneductated buffoons….I Like OBAMA but his FOLLOWERS? Not so much…the hate that is spewed is so disgusting….and the sexual remarks and then you saying THEY (MCCAIN PALIN) want to take away women’s rights…You all just sexualize Sarah Palin and judge her by the color of her skin…Hmm isn’t that discrimination?? Please.

All i can say is I’m scared for your country as well as the WORLD if this woman becomes vice president or even worse, president.

lolz @ 10/19/2008 at 4:10 am You dont know why some people hate her?

Im gonna speak for my self now.. but the reason I dont like her, ( I dont hate her ) Is because she wanna take away the womans rights and make this country like Iran. She is Really strict with her religion and wants to force inocent people in to her religion! ( school ), she is against gay marrige, agains abortion, she wanst no sex befor marrige.. etc! She is simply scary and nuts.. She doesn’t wanna let people live their lives as THEY want. She wants people live by the way SHE wants.

########

LOL! Yourself. Where do people even get this nonsense? Are you just repeating the Obama campaign memo?

You need a reality check.

Palin was asked to impose her personal opinions on the people of Alaska legislatively by both anti-gay rights activists and by pro-lifers. Both times Palin refused to do so citing a legal and constitutional basis for refusing these requests. So far her personal views have stayed just that - her personal views. President Clinton himself noted that Palin has refused to give in to those demands and refuse to impose her personal beliefs on others.

Against gay marriage? So is Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Barack Obama has a history of closet homophobia and only recently started sounding more amenable to the LGBT community.

Women’s rights? Ask Obama why he pays the women in his Senate office less than he pays the men. Ask Obama about his opposition to a woman’s absolute right to abortion. Obama does not believe in that or support that. Obama believes in restrictions on the right to abortion. Ask Obama about the misogynistic assaults waged against his female opponents in this presidential campaign.

Forcing people to live a certain way? Ask Barack Obama why he went to Kenya to campaign for the presidency of Raila Odinga and why his Friends of Obama contributed $950,000 US to Odinga’s campaign.

This great friend of Obama, Odinga, wants to turn Kenya from a strong, front line U.S. ally in the war on terror to a safe haven for terrorists. Odinga has pledged not to turn over terrorists for prosecution. In return for Muslim backing Odinga signed a memorandum of Understanding with Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum. The Memorandum promised to impose a number of Muslim demands on Kenyans if Odinga were elected president. Such as recognition of “Islam as the only true religion,” Islamic leaders would have an “oversight role to monitor activities of ALL OTHER RELIGIONS,” installation of Shariah courts in every jurisdiction, a ban on Christian preaching, replacement of the police commissioner who “allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists,” adoption of a women’s dress code, and bans on alcohol and pork.

You want scary? Well, there it is. This is the naivete and appalling lack of good judgment of Barack Obama. His interference and cooperation in helping Odinga reach power may be one of the best reasons why he is no where near ready to be President of the United States - if he will ever be.

Raila Odinga has admitted to participating in the bloody coup attempt in 1982 against then-President Daniel Arap Moi, a close ally of the United States. Kenya has been one of the most stable democracies in Africa since the 1960s.

Following the recent presidential election where Odinga lost there was ethnic cleansing by Odinga supporters earlier in 2008 - that means the murders of innocent men, women and children and the displacment of some 500,000 Kenyans as well as ruined villages. This ethnic cleansing by supporters of Odinga was the worst violence in Kenya since that 1982 coup attempt .

Kenya can kiss goodbye its long history of democracy and as a strong US ally. Thanks, Barack. Al Qaida can look forward to using Kenya as a foothold into more of Africa and as its safe haven.

Obama’s judgment is seriously called into question when he backs an official with troubling & dangerous ties to Muslim extremists and whose supporters practice ethnic cleansing and genocide. It was Islamic extremists in Kenya who bombed the U.S. Embassy in 1998, killing more than 200 and injuring thousands. None of this has dissuaded Obama from maintaining ties to Odinga.

Your condemnation of Sarah Palin is laughable in the face of Obama’s lack of experience and judgment in foreign affairs alone.

mccain/palin 08

forget the haters!

NOBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

it’s odd how she’s SOOO into it. I think she should tone it down a bit consider she has an image to uphold. and basically she comes off a little too soccer mom, past cheerleader for me.

I am glad someone finally brought up the mess in Kenya I have been doing alot of web surfing today to get facts about this travisty. From everything I have seen, (not Heard) it is very apparent that Obama has some questions to answer about his supposed cousin who is protesting and fueling riots, rapes, murders with hatchets and church burnings…..correct me if I am wrong, but has anyone seen any media coverage on this or is this a media hush order ….I have a feeling if this comes out to the blind public then there may be a different outcome on Nov 4th. I just can’t understand how the news media is so biased to some and to others give them a free get out of jail card.

Not exactly. The president nominates judges for appointments to the Supreme Court. The majority of a Senate vote has to be realized in order to approve this appointment. Palin stated during the debate that she wants to look at the “flexibility” in the Constitution that would give broader powers to the VP positon; meaning more power over the Senate in order to “make sure the President’s goals are realized.” Pretty scary stuff. By the way; the next president gets to appoint three new judges to the Supreme Court. Overturning Roe v Wade is a definite possibility.

I’m a member of Salon.com; and the comments about Palin, for the most part, are not positive at all. The articles do not spout hatred, but are quite intelligent; they have examined her actual record during her past 18 months as governor, and it doesn’t agree with what the McCain campaign maintains. You should read these articles. Very enlightening.

To KC:

Like the get-out-of-jail free card about Todd Palin who was a member of the secessionist party for years? I don’t see what a distant cousin of Obama’s has anyting to do with him; he has a large family. It’s more “guilt by distant association” that is just unfair.

Alec Baldwin was dissing her in her face, funny how he backpedaled when he realized it was the real Sarah Palin! McCain/Palin08!

Do you even have a clue abot what you are talking about? It doesn’t seem like you do.

Barack Obama went to Kenya and traveled throughout Kenya WITH Raila Odinga and campaigned for Odinga’s presdidency. Obama’s theme in his pro-Odinga speeches during his Kenyan visit was “CHANGE.” Have we heard that before? So interchangable. So philosophically frugal why it’s almost green.

Before and after Obama’s visit to Kenya - on US tax payers’ dollars I might add - Obama was in close contact with Odinga. Odinga was conferring with Obama campaign people on tactics for Odinga’s presidential campaign as well as meeting with Obama’s fundraisers during Odinga’s visits to the US when he also always visited with Obama himself. Obama’s fundraising group, Friends of Obama, gave Odinga $950,000 US for Odinga’s presidential campaign.

Is that close enough of an “association” for you? Obama’s campaigning for Odinga gave a tremendous boost to Odinga’s campaign. He was not a close contender before Obama’s Kenyan jaunt.

Even after Odinga’s supporters began a murderous campaign of ethnic cleansing Obama did not reassess his support of this disaster of a foreign “leader.” Odinga was offered and took the seat of Prime Minister [#2 in power] when, unlike all the other opposition leaders, he refused to meet with the President of Kenya to stop the bloodshed.

So Odinga as able to steal his position and political power by using unethical, immoral and illegal tactics.

And as for the Alaskan Secessionist party - please don’t make me laugh. Do you know how many states have organizations like that? I have yet to hear any advocacy of violence or blowing up buildings or bombing and murdering police officers or enlisted men and their families at dances in New Jersey. I believe that the party official said Todd Palin only attended a few meetings and was not actively involved. So what’s your point? Why would he need a get out of jail free card?. You must be confusing him with Billy Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn.

In a similar adn more humorous vein, I at one time was a proud supporter of the Conch party which advocated Key West seceding from the rest of the country. hey didn’t want to share their key lime pie or gorgeous sunsets with the rest of those wankers. LOL!

Dont forget… it is easy (compartively) to believe in abortion, but you must remember that we will all be judged someday. Abortion is murder. The truth is still the truth. Read your Bible. God is still God. Believe in Jesus, repent, and you will be forgiven of your sins. Sarah Palin is correct in her beliefs. God has given man dominion over the animals (Genesis 1:28). Sarah Palin is a strong woman who knows that God sent her a special child for a reason, which is God’s own reason. Godly women can bear such things. Sarah Palin is especially blessed, since she is bearing much more.
