Alaska Governor Sarah Palin plays herself in the opening segment of yesterday’s episode of Saturday Night Live. She stood with executive producer Lorne Michaels as the two watched Fey play Palin during a mock news conference.

Palin also went on to deliver the show’s signature starting line, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night“. Politically savvy move on Palin’s part? You decide! Watch the video below –

Palin also dropped by the news segment of the show, “Weekend Update”, where she did a little rapping. Yes, Palin raps!!! Watch that video here. For some behind-the-scenes backstage video footage, click here!

I just dont understand how some of you people can actually like sarah palin as a candidate for the vice president. As you can see she is a joke. Tina Fey reads actual transcripts from Palin word by word and people laugh throughout every line.
Unless you are a CEO or an OIl person, then why would you even be considering being a republican at this time. You have seen how republican policies have drove this economy into the worst recession since the great depression.
I’m not saying Mccain isn’t a smart politician, but this is a time for a real Change. Vote Obama! take back your freedom.

To fedup with your BS

Your facts are completely wrong; is this more nonsense that you read from the nasty Internet e-mails that are chain mailed through the Internet from the McCain campaign? Sounds like more blog nonsense to smear Obama, like “he’s not a US citizen,” and “palls around with terrorists.” Complete and utter nonsense. I have to agree with Anon.

As far as Ms.Palin is concerned, she apparently has a lot to answer for when she returns to Alaska; factual matters such as abusing her power; violating state ethics codes; breaking the trust of her constituents. I have no doubt after researching her record, that more will undoubtedly follow. I was also not surprised, after doing a lot of research, to read this:

I have nothing against Ms. Palin. But by no stretch of the imagination, is she qualified to be VP or president of this country.

To all Voters,

I do not consider my self a member of any particular party. I have voted for many Dems and Repubs and Independents because I do not believe any Party always has the answer to every challenge. I grew up in a very Pro Democratic home and family. My father was very active in the Democratic party, but I have seen so much dishonor and shortsidedness accross party lines, that I am first and foremost not moved just because of party, race, gender or age. I have been born in the greatest country in the world with a right to free speech. I don’t want to lose this right among many others that my founding Fathers put in place to enable me to keep my government in check. Many in Congress would like to have more power over the people and this is an agenda thats been around for a while now.
This election is a very important one for our Nation it is about money for many, for others it is a payback for rights taken, for others it is a about belief, and then others it is ALL about Power. Ultimate Power can be enticing for some, for me it’s about character and integrity and my belief in GOD. I believe in TRUTH and this is my yard stick by which I measure my decision at the voting booth. You can say what you want about me I don’t care, but everything that is coming to light all over the place about ALL the candidates should not be discounted just because you are gonna vote for your man……you and I owe it to each other to seek out the Truth in all this mess and not defend someone just because. Let’s face it do we really know what our candidates lifestyles are? Do you know for certain Obama is guiltless on all accounts? Do we know that McCain is really ready to be President? Do we really know the Full Truth about All these things? I challenge ALL of us to not just fire something back just because we can, naturally we want to defend our Party. I do encourage you to VOTE…but I also challenge you to use your God given minds to seek the TRUTH and vote what your heart dictates not a Party or someone else. Lets face it TWO MEN want OUR VOTES! When people want something from you they will do every thing in their POWER to get IT!!! Let us not forget this…WE ARE AMERICANS and we live in a Country where we get to VOTE! Our Economy SUCKS our Nation is AT WAR we Have problems that look dire, but WE will survive because we can! I am serious about the inportance of Us making a difference in our country and World, but I want TRUTH and ALL parties have lied to get my VOTE. It’s up to me to decide who I can give my vote too and whomever that turns out to be they need to realize I am entrusting them with one of my RIghts! I hope and pray that this spurs critical thinking when it comes to NOV 4th….One of the greatest choices you have been given….VOTE!

Check out this funny Obama skit:

I LOVE The Ting Tings…good use of the song!

I was told that if I voted for Sarah Palin we’d get an idiot for vice president. I voted for her and what do you know? We have an idiot for vice president.

To be fair about it, the guy at the top isn’t all that swift either.
