Ellen and Portia Love Their Olive

Sacha and Isla were throwing a birthday party for their daughter Olive!
Over the weekend, DeGeneres donated $100,000 to the ‘No on Proposition 8’ campaign to help them fight to defeat the November ballot in California.
The 50-year-old talk-show host recently married her longtime actress girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, soon after same-sex marriage became legal in their state.

I think if that prop 8 passes then all the same sex marriages that have taken place (like Ellen’s & Portia’s & all the other same sex couples that ahve got married since June) will effectively be made null & void. They would go back to being “unmarried” in the eyes of the law & the law would say that marriage can only be between a man & a woman.
I’ve no idea why there’s such a fuss about gay marriage really, we’ve had it in the UK for a few years now & society hasn’t come crashing down or anything, I say let everyone have the right to get married to whoever they choose.
bam! I’m with you. How would it hurt to be generous to others and allow them their love?

Bam and Janie, I’m cynical enough to believe that lawmakers here really don’t care who shares your bed.
Their real objection to same sex marriage is financial: they’ll have to pay benefits to that many more people, and as tightwads that’s something they aren’t willing to support.

AMEN TO ” BAM ” NUMBER # 6….If you look closely at their pictures, you can just see how much they love each other…Especially the ones that JARED published this past summer, when Ellen and Portia went to Italy on vacation….Ellen looked like she could not get enough of her bride-to-be, ( before wedding )…Just archive those pictures and enlarge them, and really look at the both of them…They are beautiful and are the wedding photo’s…..LEAVE THEM ALONE AND OTHERS ALSO LIKE THEM WHO HAVE BEEN ALREADY MARRIED….It dosen’t make a difference….At least they are happy and in love …..

what wrong is it for the two to be in love? they are happy and are not hurting anyone in the process, that is the most important thing.
