OlderGwyneth Paltrow Hits London Film Festival
Gwyneth Paltrow covers up in head-to-toe black at the premiere of her new movie, Two Lovers, at the BFI 52nd London Film Festival held at the Odeon West End, Leicester Square on Monday.
The most interesting part of the 36-year-old actress’s look was the furry Felder Felder jacket with leather sleeves. It kind of overshadowed her Salvatore Ferragamo number, a black draped and plissé evening dress, with an asymmetrical bodice and metal gancio detail with black silk satin ribbon (Spring Summer 2009 collection). Gwyn accessorized with Chopard jewels and sandals by Charlotte Olympia for Temperley.
Two Lovers is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Joaquin Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor (Paltrow). The film opens in theaters just in time for Valentine’s day — on February 13!

WOW! I really like her outfit. It’s different, and I am one of those who like something unusual. And Gwyneth is one of the few celebs who can pull off just about anything–even strange outfits, and still look incredibly brilliant!

i usually admire her red carpet style but this is just plain ugly. what was she thinking? the bottom of the dress looks pretty but the whole sleeves and fur thingy is horrible. i can only say she has nice skin and hair.

I always admire her, but this put-together doesn’t do anything for me. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I think G is very into the gothic look and this definitely qualifies as gothic. Her hair and makeup look great, and she’s so sweet and beautiful so even the worst outfit on her is made up by her pretty face and hair do :)
