Sarah Palin Reads What Publications?
Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave a roundabout answer to Katie Couric’s question last month about which publications she reads. (Watch video here.)
TMZ did some digging during her stay at the Omni Berkshire Hotel in NYC and found out she received copies of Wall Street Journal, NY Times, New York Post, Daily News, and USA Today. Palin also asked for diet soda, Atkins bars, and skinny white chocolate mochas with absolutely no whip.
While at the hotel, the Alaska governor also used an alias–Tina. Yes, like doppelganger Tina Fey.

frankly, anyone who turns their supporters into rabid animals is someone who should not be given authority. and according to these comments, that describes both Obama and McCain.
It’s very typical. The side you are must be flawless and saintly and the side you oppose must be demonic. Is it just me or does this election seem like a season of American Idol gone bad?

If you honestly think she *couldnt* give an answer to the newspaper question, you’re not thinking. Why would any candidate name the papers they read? They are all well aware of the endorsements each makes and the stories they’ll run. IF she said I read this paper and that paper, people would have been all over her.
I don’t know any small town folks eating Atkins bars and drinking skinny white chocolate mochas. Looks like Obama’s metropolitan elitism is rubbing off on Palin.
Also, hotels supply newspapers all the time. I doubt she actually requested them.
Here is something interesting about the media, and what FOX is saying in response to those that say they don’t want to roll over……! Good for FOX, for not succumbing to the ‘Taylor’s’ (Mr. Smith goes to washington) in the corrupt media world.

So Obama thinks that FOX News has hurt him in the polls, saying that even if he watched us, he wouldn’t vote for himself either.
Now, I don’t think he’s wrong. I actually think FOX News does go after him. But hell, someone has to.
For my whole life, every network has been uniformly, heart-bleedingly liberal. Nearly every damn magazine, newspaper and after-school special spits out the same lefty assumptions — rich people greedy, Republicans bad, America evil — as though they are suffering from a Marxist version of Tourette.
And Obama is their guy.
That’s why today, every anchor has a woodie for him, and every star-struck pop singer offers the Messiah their services for free. And there’s the late night comics, who hammer Republicans seven times more often than Dems. It’s just too easy to be funny.
But despite all this, you still have twerps soiling their diapers over FOX News just because it won’t comply with an overarching liberal theocracy. You’ve got celebrity cretins like Tim Robbins, watchdog weenies like Media Matters and crybaby cranks like Keith Olbermann suffering seizures because FOX won’t roll over.
I say, stop being a bunch of *******, you pretty much own the airwaves.
And as for you Obama, stop acting like a kid who complains because you got a 98 instead of a perfect grade. Seriously, you don’t need mindless obedience from everyone to win.
So Obama, if you’re expecting people here to kiss your ass, you’ll need to go elsewhere. I hear there’s a guy at MSNBC with a thrill up his leg dying to give you a sponge bath.

here’s what will happen if Obama is elected president: during the next four years, he will pass bills and make policies. Some people will agree with his policies while others will disagree. In 2012, based on how many agreed or disagreed, he will either be voted back in or voted out. The Earth will continue to spin.

Has anyone ever noticed how, every 4 years, the end of the world is declared to be nigh by Republicans and Democrats alike? Furthermore, has anyone noticed that this NEVER turns out to be the case? Regardless of who is elected, oceans will be sold to oil contractors, public water will still be fluoridated, warring in the Middle East will continue (either openly, as in the Bush years, or covertly, as in the Clinton years), abortion will still be legal (did Bush ever deliver on his 2004 or 2000 campaign promises to end it? didn’t think so) , democratic citizens will continue to harbor hatred towards republican citizens, and vice versa. The only thing that will change is the face on your television. Neither Obama or McCain is the Messiah. Neither will “save” the world, and the cycle will continue. Anybody who has been paying attention rather than being blinded by fear and anger every time the media tells them to, will know this.
Seriously. Copy and paste this comment. Save it. In 2012 pull it back out and see if anything I’ve said turned out to be untrue.
