Zac Efron is Star of the Year

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens get mobbed by fans and paparazzi as they arrive at their NYC hotel after flying from Los Angeles on Monday evening. Costar BFF Ashley Tisdale was right behind! Of course, they are all in town to promote High School Musical 3: Senior Year, out Friday.

Tomorrow, Zac will be honored as “Star of the Year” at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood party. Congrats, Zefron!

I think they look great considering they just spent long hours on a plane coming east, are jet lagged, and exhausted from a big premiere and a big birthday weekend!!!

You critical people should look HALF as good after all that!!

I’m with the poster who was creeped out by how close those fans were. That girl DOES have her hand on Vanessa’s bag; those two girls are on top of them and between them. So after a long cross country flight, Vanessa is STILL kind enough to stop and sign an autograph. After looking at those pics, I’d be asking them to GET OUT OF MY FACE!!

Star of the Year? Give me a break! He’s in one legitimate movie viewed by people over 16 and both of his co-stars Kelly and Blonsky sing and dance circles around him and he is star of the year??? Must have been little girls voting because he is nothing more then a cute guy with teen heart throb appeal.
We haven’t even seen his other two movies which probably will bomb so really what is the hype about this mediocre actor!

#114 actually MAOW is amazing,17again looks fantastic and so funny! HSM3 will be huge,most theatres are sold out! Zac was also amazing in Hairspray,yes the others can sing but so can Zac, they all have different talents! Everyone is allowed their own opinion of course, but obviously people voted or wanted Zac to win this award, so he did. Same with the MTV award! He does truly deserve it! He is so versitile and talented, and such a nice guy too! He is amazing and will go far in whatever he choses to do next!

there is a preview for seventeen again on ET tonight! I have to say it looks really good! I’m a big fan of Perry, so that’s another reason to go see it, and Leslie Mann of course. Burr Stears is an awesome director, and a great comedy writer, it looks like a great movie!
