Zac & Ashley: We Want It Allllllllll
Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale sit down in director’s chairs and interview each other for MySpace’s Artist-On-Artist.
The two stars of High School Musical 3: Senior Year talk about the film that opens in theaters this Friday, October 24th and we even find out about what Zac’s first audition was - Peter Pan!
When asked what her favorite musical number is in HSM3, Ashley said, “I Want It All, but, actually, that’s like my favorite number just because, it’s a long story. I like that song for Sharpay and Ryan because it’s very pop and I like the whole idea of it and everybody was in it. But I do have to say that my favorite is Can I Have This Dance, my favorite song.”

I really like Ashley after watching these interviews recently. I think she’s heaps more down to earth than Vanessa. She certainly seems more open. Maybe it’s because V gets closed up and nervous whenever she talks about Zac. And V can get really defensive too.

They did that really well. What a weird concept this is! They’re essentially asking the questions they already know the answer to. But they pulled it off.

I think they are obviously friends, no doubt about that. But I doubt either one of them would want to hurt Jared or V. Its just a friendship thing, like a poster said above, try having guy friends, I know i’m like that with mine..its innocent. Stop trying to make up a fantasy of Zashley, jeez it sounds even worse than Zanessa. They are individuals and deserve to be treated as such. Though I can’t blame Ashley for some harmless flirting, who wouldn’t where Zac is involved. How do you honestly think having Zac and Ashley get together will affect you? It won’t. Its not as if he will be dating one of you. Nothing you say will affect him either, so you should all stop living in your little dream worlds.
Besides V and Zac have a very private relationship. They both don’t talk about it because they don’t want all the crazy fans to talk about them. You have to give them so much credit for that. Ashley and Zac are more open, this is because he has nothing to keep private with her, its just a friendship and his body language tells all. Vanessa obviously means more to him, hence the secrecy and private looks they share. Just leave them all be, its their lives. We actuallly have no right to talk about their realtionships at all. Just let them be happy, and let them live their lives the way they want to.

I’m not an obsessed analytical Zac/Ashley/Zanessa stalker…I’m just a woman and let me tell you: it’s fairly obvious by watching this clip that Zefron just isn’t into Ashley in any way other than a “friend”. She’s flirting with him and he’s just deflecting her subtle advances. It’s almost like he’s doing it subconciously. His vibe and demeanor with Vanessa is completely different if anyone has seen the Moviefone interviews they did as an ensemble. Watch the bonus clips….he’s completely smitten with Vanessa and geez who wouldn’t be. She’s completely mesmerizing.

I gotta give Zac his props for deflecting Ashley’s advances, but anyone who claims she wasn’t making any needs to screw in some new eyeballs. She’s had a crush on him since HSM 1, she practically admitted it herself. She kind of toned down when Zac and Vanessa were outed (afterall, how bad would THAT look), but it looks like she’s picking up right where she left off now that the hype has worn off.
What’s even worse though, is that she now has a boyfriend and there is a lot of written evidence in which she says Vanessa is her “best friend”. Um…sure. Does she flirt with all her friend’s boyfriends, or is Vanessa’s just special? While I can understand why she would want Zac, (he may not be my favorite person in the world, but damn is he hot) she could at least pretend that she doesn’t, for Vanessa’s sake.
