Korean pop princess BoA is breaking into the America scene with her first English single, “Eat You Up”.
The track, produced by Bloodshy & Avant, hails from her upcoming English debut album, Look Who’s Talking. Later this year, the 21-year-old singer is expected to release a remix of “Eat You Up” featuring rapper Flo Rida. Watch the music vid below!

Haha, actually, I’m white and I love BoA’s voice. I think her English isn’t that bad, and with some practice, it’ll definitely improve. The song is hot and doesn’t annoy me like a lot of pop/hip hop songs nowadays. Her dancing’s better than some American singers I see, so what the hell? BoA’s got a great shot at winning.
The Asian version is SOO MUCH better than the U.S version. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
This song sucks, the music, the lyrics, it’s truly TERRIBLE. If she wants to make her mark in the US market she should do better songs. And the American music video is horribly shot. They should shelve it and only use the Korean one, which is a pretty good video actually. However, it doesn’t change the fact that ‘Eat You Up’ is a bad song.
She should have released an English version of one her previous hits in her native country instead of a bad new song.

Well I have to say she would be better of without the boa feat. flo-rida remix. I head it and it sucks hardcore. The first version is fine and the dance remix is pretty good as well. Although this version is a nightmare and it is better off disappearing.

BOA sucks. period. I never really liked her, even when she first debuted in Korea. I personally think this new image is a disgrace to Korea. what an annoying self absorbed person…She is such a wannabe. Any singer/group in Korea who tries to debut in America is such a wannabe…and should realize that that’s only giving an image that might be totally different from what Korea actually represents..and SM overall…sucks..what a money grub company

previously…BOA and SM stated that they weren’t intending on entering the American market..this statement was made in 2007-08 And yet, she released her song in 2008. They’re liars. And they said that if they opportunity rises, then they’ll try to hack into the American chart. But if you think about it, there was really no reason for BOA to hold English interviews with American TV powerhouses (ie. CNN) unless SM was planning BOA’s debut out…and you can’t start planning to break into the American market in a few months…this takes YEARS…especially if you’re an overseas product

Hate the Wondergirls! They are not good at anything at all. Their music is not good at all. Not even catchy. BoA at least has style, good dance moves, and a better image than most Americans. I think this single is hot, but Americans like retarded music like “I’m a Give you Hell” and “If you seek Amy” Dumb, dumb songs…..But if BoA keeps trying and doesn’t give up, she can make her mark in America, Asian or not. She has to try to break the stereotypes, and make people realize they like people who speak worse English, like Shakira. Shakira SUCKS at English!
BoA will make it if she doesn’t give up. If she continues, and doesn’t back down like everyone else has, she will be a sensation here in America! Her SF Pride performance was hot!

Whats sad is you believe the non-BoA fans when they tell you BoA fans are doing that. BoA fans aren’t doing that! Why can’t THOSE haters accept she’s getting a new fanbase? I didn’t have to like her, but I do. I’m nowhere near Asian, but there is some reason I like her. This is not her strongest song, but to hell with people who think any other singer has one. I love this girl. People will hate, but if anybody has what it takes its her. I don’t understand why people think she has to dress up like a **** to be famous. This girl dances better than any American girl artist since Janet Jackson. And her music is very good and catchy. If Shakira made it (with terrible english), then Boa definitely has what it takes….unless America still hasn’t grown out of its racist and nationalistic viewpoints.
