BOA GOOOGOOGOGOOGOGOGOGO!!!
I LOVEEE BOA!
SHE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE US!
WOOOOOT
SUPPORTING HER ALL THE WAYYYYYY!
well she’s adorable and she’s for sure got talent so I don’t see why she can not make it :)
The song was kickin! but I have to say there was a little to much electronics on her vocals…this will be a hard song to perform live with out lipsyncing.
Cool track though…I will get it when it comes out.
Is that Misha Gabriel’s dance crew as her backup dancers?!?!?
The lyrics are…. meh…. The beat is hot!
The dancing is cool though!
Wow… all a lot of Kpop/Jpop fans here huh? I don’t listen to this stuff and barely have heard of her, but I know a friend who’s heavily into the Asian pop scene.
The song is quite average. Her accent is also.. distracting. No offense, even with the auto tune, her voice is just not appealing. Dance moves.. average as well. She seems like person who can only rely on choreographed moves.
The Asian (?) MV is alright, but towards then I stopped watching because it was getting ridiculously cheesy with explosions and broken glass. Wth??
@shadowflame
yes, misha gabriel choreographed this dance.
I think she is pretty hot . And it’s undeniable that she is amazing dancer (unlike Brit or Rihanna). And she doesn’t try to be oversexy
ew, she sounds like a fob.
She dances and moves so boyishly. It’s like watching a teenage boy. Nothing feminine about her, except her long hair.
Mostly BoA and Korean pop fans are buying this single - several of them bought more than one copy too. It’s sort of sad that really desperate to see her succeed. Her competition will “eat” her up.
@who is she?: You sound like BoA fan under disguise. I also read some BoA fans are pretending to be newbies to her to get attention.
Pathetic losers!
Also, Jared but up -both- Asian And American videos.
It’s still not official which one will be used as the main video for the U.S.
WOW!!! I REALLY LIKE IT!
NICE VOICE, AMAZING DANCE!
GOOD LUCK TO HER!
I WILL BUY IT ON ITUNES OR AMAZON :)!
Yep that’s Misha Gabriel.
what: is this what you mean?
Someone from BoAjjang forums about posting in a BoA thread on VH1 forums:
“I think the best strategy is to feign ignorance of BoA’s magnificence and pretend to be have become a new fan because of Eat You Up. Otherwise, promoters just look like squeaky little girls who would love the music regardless of the quality, just because it’s from that particular artist.”

Yes , I do!
I really think that she can make it!
I really like this song and I never heard about her.
jared, why are you posting about her? i don’t know this chick and i dont really care. please stick with REAL celebrities that we all know about.
sorry not good enough, if you want to break into the American music industry you need originality, she is a copy cat, i feel like i’ve heard this song before, I have to admit she is a good dancer, but the song is so 2001.
wow i was wondering why this post got so many comments. I guess some people will like her and some will hate her.
the song is A-okay I can imagine dancing to it in the club! and her dancing is quite nice
To ftw -
is that true? i dunno much about boa, but if her fans are like that….
then wow. sounds like crazy fanbase next brit-brit’s.
i think the song would have been better if the girl was fluent in english. she’s not from america, right?
HOT! that’s better than “womanizer”! Britney better watch out.
Not bad.
@jenna : ditto. she sounds/looks like a britney/avril wannabe. please, we already have the real deal - why need a carbon copies fused together?
a little soapboxing:
yea we’ll see how the accent affects things. other artists with accents like M.I.A. are making it to mainstream radio, but the asian accent tends to get flak.
oh well thats life right? JYP (BoA’s Korean entertainment company) is doing weekly auditions stateside, so maybe they’ll find gold. They’re giving auditions to people of all backgrounds. About time that the U.S. will have an actual “equal opportunity” entertainment co. Plus JYP’s working with bigname artists/producers, i.e. Lil Jon.
As much as I hate it, the US labels aren’t ready for an asian face. At least MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew is allowing us primetime to show our hip side. The entertainment world and social perception is the biggest barrier left for Asian-Americans imo.
I’d be a lot more excited about Charise Pempengco, a 16 yr old who’s now David Foster’s protege. He believes she’s the next Celine Dion / Mariah Carey / Whitney.
Say NO to subpar imported idols.
Stay in Japan, dammit.
