‘Heroes’ Cover Entertainment Weekly
The cast of Heroes take the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly. The show has been dubbed “a series in crisis.”
The mag’s cover tag line reads: “Oh great… Now the cheerleader, the world and the show need to be saved. But is it too late?”
Fallen Heroes featured: Masi Oka, Zachary Quinto, Ali Larter and off-screen couple Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere.
DO YOU THINK Heroes is a show worth saving — YAY or NAY?

I love Hero’s! It’s one of the best shows on TV.
I think this show can be saved and I find it hard to believe it’s in THAT serious of a condition. I know the ratings have taken a dip but has ANYTHING really caught on this very strange season? NBC especially is on the ropes and they won’t let one of the few shows they have that garners any interest go.
As far as how to fix the’s show’s problems and admittedly it has many- the first step is to reduce the cast. I would start for sure with Tracy, (I’m sorry but IMO Ali Larter has always been the weakest link), Mohinder (this character is played out, was never that compelling to begin with) Parkman (the sad sack routine is just ole) and I know I’m getting going to get a lot of heat for this: Sylar. Now let me say that Zachary Quinto is unquestionably one of the of the bright spots in a very uneven cast and is doing a great job with Sylar’s “redemption” but I’m just not buying it and I’m Sylared out. They should have killed him off at the end of Season I and brought on a new “Big bad.” This whole “Let’s make him a Petrelli” thing reeks of desperation. As an excuse to keep him on and I’m not buying it.
Secondly stop introdicing characters and plot points and letting them hang. Really what was the point of casting a recognizable actor like Bruce Boxleiner as the Governor and then not using him? Is this this they plan on picking up on in the “Fugitive” arc that starts with episode #14 in Feburary? If that was the plan what was the point in introducing him now? It’s annoying.
This show sucks. It’s so lame!
Hayden Panetroll is already crying out loud to her manager because even herself thinks it SUCKS!!!!
Not worth saving — the show is a train that’s jumped the tracks. Too confusing and takes too much effort to keep all the details and timelines straight.
Loved it the 1st season. Now, I don’t care anymore. Good riddance!
KEEP IT ON!!!
it awesomeeee!!!
DON’T MIND OTHERS…THEY HAVE NO CLUE!!!
:P
Save it, please save it!!!! And reutrn Sylar to his villainous self!
Yes it need to be saved, maybe should put it on another night, like on saturday.
great cover, and this show need to be saved i loved the last epsidoe.
and it well get better and better each time.
Anyone who thinks this show is in danger of cancellation doesn’t have a clue about how the TV business works. Overall viewership may be down but it’s the young demos that advertisers care about. And guess what? Heroes 18-49 demos are still in the top 10 and its 18-34 are even better. In other words, the show is too valuable for NBC to ever think of cancelling it.
Season 3 is good…
Ok, i can’t believe that entertainment weekly post this. this is bull. just because people don’t like seeing the things happening on the show doesn’t mean it has to be cancelled. Every show has to have make some changes and lets be reasonable all shows are dramatic, just as this one is. and if NBC knows what’s good, they won’t cancel it and if they did it would be the worst mistake ever. and i’ll never watched another show on nbc again………
and if you are a fan from watching the show from the start you wouldn’t be bashing it. I just hope the fans like me give the show another chance and show what it could do in the furture.
The show was more hype than actual substance.
I watched the first season and I thought they took too long to explain really what was going on (superpowers) and it became too comic book and not reality based.
And it got boring. It was all about the Hayden and her older boyfriend. The story never really made sense after a while. The show reminds me of “Twin Peaks” back in the 80s (this is for the old folks out there *l*) It was really good for the first 8 eps, but then it became too quirky and they waited too long to expose the killer. The show fell apart. Gimmicks can only work for so long (look at “Lost”). If there’s nothing solid behind it, it is no good.
Heros is not good anymore.
I love it!
Its greaatt :)
If people don’t like it.. don’t watch it. end of.
i love heroesssssssssssssssssssss
HEROES IS WORTH SAVING!
It’s too amazing for words.
It’s teetering dangerously close to jumping the shark. I can’t say I’d be terribly upset if it were cancelled. The great show from season one is gone. There are TOO MANY CHARACTERS. There’s too much stupid time travel which can fix anything and really, nothing makes sense.
To date, not one character has asked why Peter couldn’t have travelled back in time to an hour *before* the press conference and talk to Nathan instead of shooting him. Not even Nathan asked. His beloved brother shot him–you’d think he’d ask why, but no. Heroes hasn’t played the fallout of this supposedly tumultuous event. Not even a little bit. Are the writers that amateurish? You do something shocking, you PLAY THE FALLOUT. You don’t do it simply for the sake of being shocking. Do the writers have something against giving the extremely talented Adrian Pasdar a storyline? Apparently they do. All they care about are the supremely annoying Clare and Peter.
You wait. If Heroes stays on the air next season when Claire turns 18, the writers will retcon that she’s not Nathan’s biological daughter so that Claire and Peter can date since Milo and Hayden are dating. It would be the best thing in the world for the narrative if Claire and Peter were both gone. Peter will regain his powers soon enough and it’s not like he and Nathan have a real fraternal relationship anymore. The writers have completely forgotten it even though it was a major strength for the show. They’ve learned nothing from season 2. Absolutely nothing. I’m ready to give up. I used to watch it live. Now I tivo, but I’m about to stop doing that.
Six regular characters–Angela, Nathan, Noah, Sylar, Tracy, and Parkman.
Two semi-regular characters–the Haitian and Elle. That’s all this series needs for a regular cast. Dump everyone else.
NOO!! heroes is amazing keep it!!!
HEROES HAS ROCKED THIS SEASON IF NBC CANCELS IT WHAT ELSE WILL THAT NETWORK HAVE THAT ANYONE WOULD WANT TO WATCH! PLEASE
HEROES HAS ROCKED THIS SEASON IF NBC CANCELS IT WHAT ELSE WILL THAT NETWORK HAVE THAT ANYONE WOULD WANT TO WATCH! PLEASE
Save the show. I keep hoping it will get better. They need to get back to the feeling of season one. They are trying to do too much with too many characters and too much time travel. The actors are all great and the story is fun. Don’t want it to end.
I think it’s actually pretty good this season. It’s nice to get complex with the characters and see that they’re not all just one way or another. Who we thought were the “Villains” are completely different than who the real villains actually are. Give it a chance!!!!
such a good series don’t cancel it!!!
French love heroes…
Heroes cant be cancelled :( I freakin love that show , is the best on tv , stupid EW writer who dosnt like Heroes ,if u dont like , dont watch it ,period . They dont have to put it on the cover of th magazine , argh I curse you lol
The show just need Peter, Sylar , Claire, Nathan, Elle, Mama Petrelli, HRG , Claire’s family, Hiro , Ando , Parkman, new character Daphne oh and Mr Muggles and that’s it .
Heroes doesn´t need saving.
Season 3 is just awesome , definitely the best show imo.
This show is awesome! Just get rid of the new & useless characters!
I love MILO!
