Red Rover: We Call Kate Walsh Over!
Private Practice star Kate Walsh spends a free day with her red Range Rover as she runs errands, visits a friend and pumps gas in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old actress has gotten the green light for the season as ABC has confirmed a full season of 22 episodes for Private Practice. NBC’s Chuck and FOX’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles were the other two sophomore shows which were extended to a full season.

Re. the Cadillac question - when Kate was on her hometown radio station last year the hosts did ask her if they gave her a Cadillac to drive & she said no !! Seeing as they have apparently signed her for more ads, maybe this time they’ll actually give her the car to drive, makes sense !
And Kate & Alex do seem very down-to-earth which I love. Nice to know the photographers think the same too.

Yes again. I know we are tired from last night’s +9 party, but PrP went up in the numbers, and in the demo. So, without further ado, PARTY!
I’m joining the party !! I enjoyed last night’s episode particularly the scenes between Addie and the SWAT cop.
How brilliant was that scene at the shooting range with Addie in high heels and a dress firing off those shots and then kissing the Cop. Holy hotness !!

Dumb is your comment, not mine. Did I say that other actors never done a bad movie in their career? No. I only said that Walsh did ONLY bad movies. She has no movie career at all, and trust me, she will never have. She doesn’t have enough talent. She is just a mediocre actress who is enjoying 5 minutes of her fame. She is known only for one TV role. A few years from now nobody will remember her.
#34-Do you have a crystal ball or something that you think you can predict the future. Maybe you only know Kate in one T.V role, but to many she is known for several T.V roles and many theater roles. (I personally think only the really talented actors are able to do theater as there are no retakes or editing). I agree that she does not have a huge movie career, but maybe like Ellen Pompeo, she is too busy with her own show or she would rather be with her husband. Anyway, I think Kate is great. She looks really pretty in the pictures.
#34 Out of the GA cast, and after GA, only Kate, Heigl, Dempsey, Dane, and SO even manage to get movie roles. Of the 5 she is the most versatile, in that she never does same character over and over, and over. She will always have work, because she does it for the chalange, and not for fame.
Of the other 4, SO only can afford to do the same character over and over because she at least has great technique, she can act even if she only has one character in her, she does it perfectly, and will always get supporting roles that require that character. Heigl will do romcoms that will make her immensely rich, and when they stop coming will fade away. The others will fade in to oblivion after GA.
J - I think you are confusing Kate with Ellen Pompeo who has done zilch, and has said she will retire after Greys (ie. cannot find the work). As for only being known for one TV role - people recognise her from all manner of TV roles, CSI, Drew Carey to name two. And she played completely different characters in all.
Kate has continued to get work even though she now is the leading lady of her own show. She continues to appear in comedy improv shows in theatres, already has one movie role in the can that was filmed over the hiatus (the lead female role in a strong ensemble - Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid), has voiced an upcoming King of the Hill episode etc etc.
Kate has said herself, she will move onto other roles in the future. Unlike some actors, she has the great strength of versatility, and given her training and background in theatre, she will have no problem in finding work long after her show finishes. She acts because she loves it, not to make a quick buck to retire on. Kate will be around for the long haul.
I love Kate. She always manages to look great when out-and-about with little or no make-up and casually dressed. I like her new hair wavy.
