Gossip Girl starlet Taylor Momsen has been hospitalized with a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection.
“I have been treating Miss Taylor Momsen for the last few days,” Dr. Shawn Nasseri tells Us Weekly. “She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday. She has been an excellent patient, and after aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days.”
A source close to the 15-year-old actress reveals Momsen was in L.A. to take a school exam when she “woke up with a sore throat. She thought it was just a common cold, but was advised to see an ear, nose & throat specialist before getting on a plane back to New York.”

there are some deadly throat infections, like diphtheria for example.
My first thought was that she was actually hospitalized for a drug overdose. It wouldn’t surprise me; hope not, but regardless, I do hope she gets better soon.

EVERYONE WHO IS CALLING HER SKINNY AND IS TELLING HER TO EAT MORE JUST SHUT THE **** UP. FYI, Im incredibly skinny and I eat like a horse. I dont put on the weight because I have a fast metablism. Maybe Taylor does to? URGH.

Im telling you all, it’s not just a “severe throat infection”, it’s either from her being anorexic, or her being a druggie, or her smoking a lot. (Don’t even get me started on my fourth speculation. ;P hahahaha)
Yes, she does smoke. There’s a video on youtube showing her smoking. It’s an actual video not just an effing picture. Poor girl, I used to like her i mean as an teen actress and all that.
