Katie Holmes Makes It To The Matinee
Katie Holmes leaves her New York City home for a matinee performance of All My Sons in New York City on Wednesday.
On Tuesday night, Katie made her long-awaited appearance on the ABC show Eli Stone. Watch the video below!
Working with Katie was great,” Jonny Lee Miller told OK!. “It was fantastic. She was a really nice person to have around. .. She’s a phenomenal actress.”
“She’s just a star,” Natasha Henstridge said. “Everyone loved working with her. .. She’s wonderfully talented and I think people forget a little bit. So much of the buzz was about her being married that you forget how talented she is. ”

Oh my God!! That episode of Eli Stone was the WORST! Katie can’t sing (she sounded like nails on a chalkboard), can’t dance, looks like she has anorexia and thinks acting is twisting her face into all kinds of strange contortions! She’s joke. No wonder Eli Stone was the third watched show of the nite. No one cares that she was on. It didn’t receive a bump in rating cause of Katie. As a matter of fact, less people watched it that night than did the week before!
Lets get real here: Katie Holmes is nothing but a C list actress married to a freak. She’s not a good mother either. She’s pretty much worthless.
She was adorable. They had a great connection and I hope she comes back.
She was very good in that episode. Many want to see her return including myself.
So the episode DIDN’T flop, #3? It MAY have but DIDN’T?
Greg Berlanti, co-creator of the show, begged Holmes to be on it because he already worked with her on Dawson’s Creek, #12.
No one stunt-casted anyone (or at least you can’t prove it) anywhere.
They didn’t or couldn’t get Anne Hathaway. They got Holmes and they seem to be happy with the casting.
Quit making excuses. People liked her in that episode. Admit it already.
Quit making excuses, #20. You have aright to be skeptical but it’s arrogant and foolish to claim they’re lying because you don’t like Holmes and that anyone who believes them are naive.

That makes no sense, #29. People wouldn’t and aren’t buying tickets because of how nice their daughter that’s unrelated to the show looks like.
And if they were using her, wouldn’t they use nice fall wear to attract customers?

Clark- pleaseeee…..tomkat is what u see after term famewhoring in the dictionary. and they have to….PR can be very useful getting those broadway roles when you are in shortage of talent.

THAT was one of the many, many thoughts about TomKat I had NEVER embarked upon, for obvious, miserable reasons. Of course, the entire comment is a pure wish…everyone knows Tommy boy is a raging homo (alpha-manly? Please. I would have laughed, but I was busy retching because of the comment).
Now I’m disgusted so much, I’m donating my lunch to the stray cats behind the building. Forever.

Gee I guess that is why her performance in Batman was nominated for a Razzie award for worst supporting actress.
And the fact that attendance dropped by almost 15 percent after the opening reviews came in for All My Sons.
And the fact that Eli Stone lost almost half its audience by the end of the show.
And the fact that most of the fashion polls have her in the bottom 25 percent with her white jumpsuit fiasco coming in at the bottom.
Yep, she is a great actress and fashionista.

Why blame only Holmes’ for attendance dropping for her play and that episode?
And BEFORE that jumpsuit debacle?

No Bruce, Katie was nominated for the razzie as worst supporting actress. I assume you are Creature/Clark etc. Don’t read into the nominations that it was because of their personal lives. They did get the razzie for worst tabloid couple!
Well, Holmes had the worst reviews over all, so why not blame her.
Before the jump suit, the fashion ratings depend on what she is wearing. Generally in her ratty jeans, rolled up jeans, jeans that make her thighs look big, etc. she gets lower than 25 percent. in her more sophisticated get ups like the pics above 85 percent or higher. BUT she rarely shows much class like today. So the ratings tend to be in the bottom quartile.
I was well aware in what categories they were nominated for, #70. It doesn;t change the fact that the razzies are idiotic and nominated them mostly for their scandalous year rather than the quality of their performances.
She didn’t have the worst reviews over all for her play and unless you take a poll, there’s no way of knowing that attendance is dropping simply because of that one actor in it.
Whatever. She doesn’t care what other people think and her fashion sense has been much more accalim than you suggest.

I’m sure Katie Holmes is a sweet person, but as an actress/singer/whatever, she’s awful.
Seriously does she have to be on here everyday…or perhaps she has her own photograph and sends in the pictures herself!!!
