Miley Cyrus opens up to Ryan Secrest about her new man, Justin Gaston, during Thursday’s Los Angeles KIIS-FM morning show On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Here’s what the 15-year-old Disney sensation had to say:
On if she’s dating Justin: Maybe, maybe not.
On if her parents allow her to date Justin: “Yes, but I think that right now, everything’s really good. We’re so happy with the way things have worked out.”
On her relationship with Justin and why age doesn’t matter: “He’s been a really great friend more than anything. Everyone started judging us ever since we started hanging out. But after my last two years, there’s been a lot of things that happened, so I’ve learned not to judge anyone and just go into our friendship with an open mind. Not really worried about the age thing. Our family says, Whatever happens happens.”
On what she sees in Justin: “More than anything, he’s really helped me move on from a lot of things and get my mind of of things. He’s a really great Christian guy. I am totally gushing right now… He works with my dad. He thinks he’s really cool.”

Miley is not mature, she’s only 15, she still works for Disney (that in itself is “kiddie”). He is an underware model trying to kickstart a music career. He’s 20. What could a 20 year old man have in common with or want from a 15 year old girl. His association with Miley does nothing but make him look like a predator. Come on people THINK! It’s not cool and it’s not cute. Miley’s parents should be ashamed if they allow her to date this man. I read a statement from her dad that said if he didn’t allow it she’d just sneak around to try to do it. She’s Miley…how much sneaking can a star do without the papparazi catching her & taking her picture, besides he’s the PARENT and she is the CHILD until she is 18 at least and as the parent he should know her whereabouts 24/7. They need to enforce their parental rights and quit trying to be her friend. Nothing good will come from that relationship, there’s nothing role model-ish about a 15 year old dating a 20 year old. She’ll get over being told “no”.

To all the teenage girls out there who are saying that everyone else is just jealous that Miley has a model 20-yo boyfriend, you have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re her age, of course you’re gona see it this way!
But I’d like to hear what you think when you have a 15-yo daughter who introduces you to her 20-yo bf. I doubt you’d think it was so great then. It’s nothing to be jealous of.
Someone said that she’ll be pregnant within the next two years. It won’t even take that long. Think about it. Justin’s a model, he can have ANY girl he wants, if she doesn’t sleep with him, their relationship will be over faster than you can say sex.
I’m 23 now, but when I dated someone 6 years older than me when I was 16. I thought my parents were just trying to ruin my life when they disapproved of him so we kept seeing each other. And guess what? When I said I wouldn’t sleep with him, he dumped me! What a shock there. Looking back on it, I have a little girl of my own now, I understand exactly why it wasn’t ok. I was lucky that I had the common sense to say no. Even though it hurt a lot at the time that he broke up with me, it was better in the long run. So I have to say she’s really dumb, but she’s 16 it’s expected. Her parents, on the other hand, are idiots to let their little girl be used by some guy like that. It’s disgusting to see what’s happening to kids now-a-days because of parents who are more concerned with the money their kid will make because of the media attn to something like this, than their own daughter’s well-being.
