Angelina Jolie Returns From Afghanistan
Angelina Jolie visited poverty-stricken families during a two-day visit to Afghanistan this past Wednesday and Thursday.
The 33-year-old UN Goodwill Ambassador commented that “the courage, resilience and quiet dignity of returnee families rebuilding their lives against the kind of adversity few of us can imagine shows the human spirit at its best.”
Angie appealed for long-term commitments to Afghanistan and greater humanitarian support for the population as the harsh Afghan winter approaches.

Hey Cliniqua thanks for the updates. This is so crazy, so sad. I hope no one else has been murdered.
I love the pictures in W also. I haven’t seen Hello yet. I truly love that picture of Z also. But all of them have their own specialness. It is evident that Brad loves Angie’s lips. It is evident that Brad loves Angie and his children.
I don’t compare Angie to the other actors or actresses in HW. In that she makes them look badly. She is doing what she understands to do for her life and her beliefs. The other actors/actresses are doing what they understand or believe in. Not everyone evolves at the same pace or at all.
Some people will shop forever and never lend a hand. They should not be discounted for doing that. Others will feel the need to help others and will. Each has their own value. I feel Angie is special because she came to herself so young. And that is a good thing.
The only actress I would even begin to criticize for doing nothing would be x. But why do that? X is a special kind of pity who lives in her own tortured world. Peace
for those of you who were lucky enough to see ange’s Changeling, will you please tell us something about the movie. i will have to wait a whole week before i could see it. I CAN’T STAND IT!!!

Blah Blah Blah. Now put yourself in that camp. It could happen in this country. It could happen to you. Do you want to risk your life Aniston helping you out. Do you want to risk your child’s life on the media someday shining on a light on your situation. I can understand stupid teenagers whining but your an adult you should have a wider perspective of what this is really all about. Saving kids like your child. I would be thankful to anyone who would help me save my child.

Last Lesson of the Day - you too…YES…YOU..could have GOOD KARMA but first you have to DO good deeds.
1.) for once in you small world, be positive. It does clear the mind and make you see the world clearer and without the clouds(Jenjen) blocking your view.
2.) remember, there is KARMA and then there is GOOD KARMA. To get the GOOD kind, you must first do onto others what you would like done to you. Jolie is a perfect example. It is because she is doing good deeds that she has the GOOD KARMA.. You too can have this GOOD KARMA but first you’ve got to do good deeds.
3.) No matter what, always remember, projecting much is a lazy man/woman way to cope with her/his part is the failed marriage. First look in the mirror and come to terms with all your warts, flaws, and problems that led to your marriage failing. Remember it was NOT the other woman who married you and your ex. As much as you don’t want to addmit it…you aint blameless.
4.) Life is too short to carry a “ball and chain” (a marriage that is gone and one that you were not part of(the Pitt/Aniston)). Now, you go and do good deeds because your KARMA SUCKS. Remember first you do then GOOD KARMA happens. When in doubt of this, think of JOLIE and it all make sense.

The people of Afghanistan have deserved better. They deserve honesty. Angelina is a big lie.

Jolie has an opportunity to show the people of Afghanistan that she is a woman of peace by voting against both Obama and McCain both of whom want to continue the occupation of Afghanistan.
Thus far, Jolie has been a cagey supporter of the Iraqi surge and occupation. Pitt along with Clooney urge “intervention” in Darfur which is a pleasant way of saying the US should go to war in that region.

Very good comment. Unfortunately the public have had the wool pulled over their eyes with it comes to the concept of ‘humanitarian’ interventions, which really, when it comes down to it, are all about power and economic interests. There are terrible conditions in many parts of the world, but you will find that only certain countries are only deemed worthy of US aid: those which are vital to the US in shoring up its power/economic interests. Ever heard the saying “there’s no such thing as a free lunch?” It’s true. And it’s the same deal with the aid offered in humanitarian interventions. It doesn’t come without strings attached.

Buzz up!Angelina Jolie reveals she and Brad Pitt fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith - which Pitt filmed while still married to Jennifer Aniston.

“Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love,” Jolie, 33, says - referring to wanting her kids to see the flick - in the New York Times.

Jolie says she worries, “[Maddox will] look up my name and see some kind of sexy pictures, or read a story about himself that isn’t true.
“There’s a lot we’re going to have to explain to them about how public their family is,” Jolie adds.

For now, the kids look at mom and dad as nerds, Jolie says.
“What’s going to be funny is when they think Mom and Dad are a little bit cool, because right now, we’re not cool Mom and Dad,” she says. “Even video games, you know, it’s: ‘Mom, you can’t play this. You don’t know how.’
“Oh, they all think I can’t do anything, that I’m just there to snuggle with. But the other day, Madd said, ‘Can you do a cartwheel?’ and I said, ‘Yeah I can.’ And he was like, ‘Wow, Mom,’” she says.
“And I thought ‘Oh, yeah. I can do some things. You wait. You’ll find out. I’m capable,” Jolie says.
The actress says she picks her movie roles based on her kids’ schedules.
She asks herself, “Who’s in school at that time? How can I be sure I don’t do too many long hours? Can the three youngest be on the set every day?
“As long as I can still be with my family, it’s fun. But I only want to do that, and I’m not looking for anything else,” she says.
For inspiration, Jolie looks to her own mother, who died in January 2007.
“My mom, she was a very, very soft woman. It was hard for her to yell, or even curse,” Jolie says. “But when it came to fighting for her kids, she found a strength she didn’t always know she had.
“And there’s a part of [Changeling character] Christine that I connected to her,” Jolie adds. “I kept pictures of my mom in little purses” that she totes in the movie.
Changeling opens in limited release Oct. 24.

Poor whiny victim Jen. It is good that AJ knows who the real victims are, Refugees and children in need. Sorry that the Hollywood victim did not garner the outrage you were hoping. Some folks realize that there are more important issues and problems in the world then rehashing a four year divorce.

Here, ya big dumb Depends-wearing, spittoon carrying fcuker, you’re no more a fan of Angelina Jolie than I am of stupid people…which you are.
I was at Target earlier reading the tabs. Poor old Janice Min. She really cracked me up this week. In this new issue she has apparently had it with BOTH Angie AND X. Why? Because…of course she has her “Angie admits to affair with Brad during M&MS” story, cuz that’s on the cover. In this story she accuses Angie of lying with previous denials of an affair. However, what she doesn’t tell her readers is that Angie never said she and Brad had an affair. She said they “fell in love”. Now to some unfortunately bozos like Min that necessitates a sexual relationship. She apparently doesn’t realize that adults fall in love all the time without commiting adultery. Be that as it may…so she accuses Angie of lying…and turns around and lies herself about what Angie supposedly confessed to. Then in a sidebar they’ve got a sequence of pix from the M&MS set to demonstrate Brad & Angie getting close. I know we’ve ALL seen the set pix so you’ll know the ones I’ll mention. Then next to these pix are pix of X at around the same time - usually by herself and looking pitiful…
These pix was their big evidence that Brad & Angie where having an affair - 1 picture of them holding hands, on set, in costume. 2 pictures of them on set, with 20 other people within hearing range, speaking to a production assistant. And the eye-fcuking photo.
However…this is not the funniest part of this tale. On the very next page there’s a story of X and The Urinator re-uniting. And this is were Min says, “I’ve had it with BOTH of these b#tches, so I’m going after BOTH of them this week! This’ll teach ‘em to fcuk with ME!”
In the X story US speculates on why X took The Urinator back and why he’d want to go back. So basically they came down to it being that The Urinator is a fameho and wants the attention and wasn’t getting it anymore after he dumped X. But THEN she sayd, “But don’t feel sorry for Aniston because she’s just as big of a publicity seeker as Mayer is.” I was ROTFLMAO!!!! I should have taken notes to get the exact quote, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it was. MIN FLATOUT CALLED X A FAMEWH#RE!!! BBBBWWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! As irritating at the inaccuracy of their story on Angie’s quote was? This shite totally made up for it! LOL. Okay…I know not everyone will agree with that, but I’ll give Min some credit here. On one page she says, “Jolie lied about not having an affair with Pitt, but forget it, they got 6 kids now and everybody thinks she’s the bee’s knees and I know this is the most I’m ever going to get on her….BUT ABOUT THAT OTHER B#TCH…NOW SHE IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK!”
BTW - This story is proof that we need to STOP going to US and commenting on their stories. 90% of the material they had in this story is stuff I saw on their “Angie confesses…” thread during the week preceding this issue. They literally STOLE from posts that fans put on there giving the timeline for the shoot - EXCEPT they purposefully left out that the shoot continued with re-shoots well into 2005. They claimed the movie completed filming before the end of 2004 and that’s their “proof” that Angie lied about the affair. They also brought up her quotes that she’d never be able to look at herself if she SLEPT with a married man, she’d never be attracted to a man who would cheat on his wife and that she had lovers and didn’t need Brad. All quotes I saw used IN DEFENSE of Angie on the US blogs. They also re-iterated their claim that Angie was preggers before Brad’s divorce was final on Oct 2, 2005, but deliberately omitted the FACT that his divorce was officially handed down on August 19, 2005 and his single status restored - yet another fact I saw mentioned numerous times on the US blog. SO STOP COMMENTING ON THE US BLOG!!! IF THEY’RE GOING TO STEAL FROM US MAKE THEM COME HERE TO DO IT! AT LEAST THAT WAY JARED GETS PAID FOR THEIR VISITS TO HIS SITE AND WE’RE NOT GIVING THEM HITS!
Moving on to Lies & Shite - They cracked my ass up! They tried to manufacture a story out of that one line from the NY Times, story, too. And they spend 1 1/2 pages going on and on about that 1 sentence…and then they switch gears…to…the ending of Brad’s marriage to X was soooooooooo traumatic that that’s why he won’t marry Angie! ROTLFMBAOPIMP!!!!! I was fcuking CACKLING in Target! Almost choked on my gum. These losers have spent the last 3 1/2 years saying ANGIE WOULDN’T MARRY BRAD…and NOW they’re claiming it’s Brad who doesn’t want to get married! Seriously…are these dipshits on crack? I read Dlisted today and MK said Wino has been looking sober lately. I think that’s because the folks at Lies & Shite stole her stash! And their proof that it’s Brad who doesn’t want to get married? Because when Angie was asked about Brad donating money to fight Prop 8 and because gay marriage is now legal in Cali, MA and CT…and Brad said they’d get married when gay people could…Angie replied, “You’ll have to ask Brad.” So NOW Lies & Shite declares that Angie wants to marry Brad and he’s dragging his feet because he’s all tore up over dumping his albatross…cuz it was so hard on his “family” and he’s afraid if for some reason he and Angie don’t work out that he’ll have to put his parents through the anguish of another divorce. What 45 year-old man thinks about crap like that? His mama’s gonna be mad at him if he get’s another divorce, so he’s not going to marry the love of his life? WTF kind of logic is that? Forget that there are 6 kids who’s lives will be shattered if their parents break up…”I just don’t upset my mama!”
BTW - The Star, OuttaTouch & OK! all took a pass on the “Angie admits to an affair” saga. OK didn’t mention it at all. The Star & OuttaTouch both had 1 page with a huge picture and 2 paragraphs saying Angie admitted they fell in love on set. Obviously both of them are still reeling from the fact that their last couple of Angie covers have TANKED BIG TIME. That’s a lesson Lies & Shite will learn THIS week…again…

Good on Angelina. She is living her life with pupose. While the hens were clicking about the lovely W photo shoot a, Angelina went on with life quietly to this mission. She must have went right after the Today Show interview.
To the person named “not impressed”, who cares? Angelina going on UNHCR missions have nothing to do with the public and what they think. She’s bringing awareness to the right people of the plight of refugees around the world.
