OlderJennifer Hudson’s Mother & Brother Found Dead
The mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were reportedly found dead in Chicago around 3PM Friday.
The two adults were found fatally shot — Darnell, 57, and older brother Jason. The bodies were reportedly discovered by a cousin who lived nearby. Jennifer is currently en route to Chicago.
Hudson, 27, became famous after appearing on American Idol in 2004. She later went on to pick up an Oscar for her performance in Dreamgirls.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Hudson’s family and friends.
UPDATE: Jennifer’s rep Lisa Kasteler tells People, “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson. No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”

My deep sincere sympathy to Jennifer and her family, this is a terrible thing for anyone to have to go through. Jennifer you will be in our prayers and may your loved ones Rest in peace.

I am shocked to read that something like this can be called “typical”. Thirteen years ago a war ended in my country and I can’t even imagine something like this, what happened to Ms Hudson’s family, would occur regularly in any city or town in my country. I can’t imagine myself living in a neighbourhood like that, I can’t imagine such neighbourhood existing in my country.
If there are crimes like these perpetually occurring there is something seriously wrong with a community, town or even country you live in.
My sincerest condolences to Ms Hudson.

i feel sorry but i think eveeryone needs to just give her and her family some space…. give her some time to think i think she will get through it god said when ppl leave the world not to mourn be gratful becuz they dnt have to put up with this nasty terrible world anymore they are in a beeter place…. i kno its hard
