OlderJennifer Hudson’s Mother & Brother Found Dead
The mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were reportedly found dead in Chicago around 3PM Friday.
The two adults were found fatally shot — Darnell, 57, and older brother Jason. The bodies were reportedly discovered by a cousin who lived nearby. Jennifer is currently en route to Chicago.
Hudson, 27, became famous after appearing on American Idol in 2004. She later went on to pick up an Oscar for her performance in Dreamgirls.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Hudson’s family and friends.
UPDATE: Jennifer’s rep Lisa Kasteler tells People, “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson. No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”

My heartfelt condolescences go out 2 Ms.Jennifer Hudson.
I cant even imagine what she or her family is going through.

Mom looks like she was on drugs, I wouldn’t be surprised if the murder was drug gang related

your comment is both vicious and unbelievably cruel. you automatically assume because darnell and her son are black that the murders are automatically gang/drug related. there is a term for what you said; it’s called racial profiling. and it is illegal in the united states.
it also shows that you have zero compassion. this woman and her son are dead. you do understand this dont you. some person or persons robbed darnell and jason hudson of their lives. this family has lost their mother and their brother. at the very least you owe jennifer hudson an apology

No matter what the reason is, it is never right to take someone else’s life.
