Matt Damon Travels One By One

Matt Damon step out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes while supporting the San Francisco launch of the ONEXONE children’s charity on Thursday held at The Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, Calf.

The 38-year-old actor vows he’ll teach his kids about the less fortunate. Matt told People: “It’s a hard thing to explain to a kid. And it is also unbelievable the way other kids are forced to live… The way you have to parent them is to show them the world… You can read about devastation every morning – it’s on the front page of the newspaper – but when you actually go there and see it, you realize this isn’t something you can turn the page on.”

Other pictures include Matt and wife Luciana catching a departing flight out of LAX airport with their two daughters, Isabella, 2, and Gia, 2 months. Poor Isabella doesn’t look happy to be going through security!

For more info on Matt’s charity, visit ONExONE.org.

Love Matt @ 10/24/2008 at 5:33 pm

THANKS JARED!!!!!!!!!! :D

Matt is looking hunkilicious as always. Love all he does, love him!

# 4

Isabella is such a cutie with attitude.

# 5

being in public and having your kid throw a tantrum is propably at the top of every parents’ “most embarrassing” list. She is quite cute though.

# 6

Thanks for the pictures. It’s good to see Matt! His daughter appears to be acting like a two year old.

# 7

He seems like a cold father to me, that little girl never looks happy to be in his arms.

taking kids through airport security and the flight.. thats got to be the number one stressy thing for any parent.

A few days back we saw Shiloh showing some attitude on the tarmac to mama Ange and now its Isabella’s turn. Suri has her days too, so do Kingston, Moses and Ryder.. Violet is probably the only kid who hasnt been photographed in a public tantrum scenario..

I’d be unhappy if I had an a** **** dad like him.

I can’t stand him. He is a freak.

Pretty soon there will be no such thing as a less fortunate person. Nobama is going to spread the wealth around so everybody can live like Matt Damon.

I plan on quitting my job if obama wins so I can have some of Matt Damon’s wealth spread my way. My whole family is going to quit. There is no incentive to work hard to get ahead in America anymore. It is just hand your money to the government and let them distribute it to whomever they see fit. Especially if you vote democrat.

I am going to take some of Matt’s money too. I can’t wait.

I have lost all respect for matt because he is so mean and nasty. He can vote for whomever he wishes, but to bash a woman he has never met because he does not agree with her politically is just wrong. I will never go to any of his movies again and I will buy tabloid magazines who follow these ego maniacs around and make their lives miserable.

He is a looney lefty. Crazy

terri anderson @ 10/24/2008 at 6:46 pm

Why does Matt think we are too stupid to figure out who to vote for? I don’t understand. He just comes off as uneducated and uninformed. I bet he didn’t even graduate from high school.

I don’t agree with what he said about Palin, but he still seems like an affable guy. I can see why people don’t like him and he gets on my nerves sometimes too but he seems to have a good personality. I’m not talking about politics, just in general.

I read a funny blog this morning when someone said that maybe matt’s wife could give advice to Sarah Palin’s daughter about what it was like for her to be a pregnant, unmarried teenager. Matt’s wife gets around.

Janie - I respect your opinion but he said nasty things about a woman he never even met just because he dosn’t agree with her. He also thinkds that the American people are too stupid to figure out who to vote for. He should apologize but I am sure he won’t because he is out of touch with regular Americans.

Matt Damon has no class.

Hey Matt - how about those red sox.

Applause for all the hard work Damon does.

where did he meet his wife? ***** r us

What hard work. He needs to keep working. I am going to get some of his wealth. Keep working Mr. Damon.

BECKY SMITH @ 10/24/2008 at 7:11 pm

Matt needs to have a talk with his publicist before he says things like
Sarah Palin… And he could get some lessons from Ben on holding his
daughter… She does not want anyone else but her mother.. Matt should be holding Gia and have Lucianna hold Isebella..

Seeing how Lucianna is standing their when Isebella goes through
security..Where is David Arquette he was at the ONEXONE EVENT..

awww she’s still so cute when she cries tho haha

@16 I think he went to Harvard.

#11 - Robin, #12 - Marcus , #14 Mary and all the other members of the Morons family.. How about YOU GO tell Palin that you want to share the wealth of all the hard-working Americans, who lost their homes, savings and retirement accounts under the o-so- lovely Bush administration??..
(You would think that in the midst of an unprecedented economic fiasco, morons would come back to their senses.. Nope, they r lost forever.. )

Matt Damon? Great career. Great films. Great acting chops.
He is not a politician. Who cares about his political views. Who cares if he is the biggest ******* around the block. He is (just) a f**** actor. And a great one.

sayagain? @ 10/24/2008 at 7:25 pm

to the person who is quitting ur job, are u part of some inbreeding community that has rendered u impaired in some way? for u to take things so literally makes u sound like u are. i am surprised u and ur family even have jobs. did walmart have a shortage of employees in ur area or something?

whoseblog. It is not the Bush administration who started this economic problem. The economy was fine until the democrats took over the House and Senate 2 years ago. Back then Barny Franks was sleeping with a high ranking member of Fannie. Chris Dodd was taking sweetheart land deals as well. This problem started when the democrats took over. I do have to say that I am a bit disappointed that President Bush did not act sooner to stop this crisis. But it was Barney Franks that said that Fannie and Freddy were sound investments just a few short months ago. It is those two boobs that I fault for this economic demise. But of course you are probably a left-wing looney who will never see any fault with your representatives. I will be almost relieved if nobama wins because when the economy truly falls apart and jobs are lost by the thousands - you won’t be able to blame Bush for that. Besides Biden says there will be some major security crisis in the first 6 months of obama’s administration. That statement (and man) scares the hell out of me. He is not the brightest bulb in the bunch.

sayagain? @ 10/24/2008 at 7:36 pm

to the person who took “spreading the wealth” literally, do u also take the word “maverick” literally?

maverick: an unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother, traditionally considered the property of the first person who brands it.

Oh sayagain? I was only kidding. I am not quitting my job. Just making a point that there will be no incentive for Americans to work hard to get ahead if obama administration is going to take the profits of my labor and spread them to people who choose to stay home. That is NOT the American way. 40% of the people getting that money pay NO income taxes at all. They will just be getting a check. That is UNFAIR! I work in state government and have studied his plan and think that it is reckless and UNAmerican.

Isabella is very cute.

At least she doesn’t look like her mother who is very ugly!!

Sayagain? Nobama said today that he meant “spread the wealth” . He stands by that statement. He was not kidding. He is going to tax the hell out of small businesses of which my husband is a small business owner. He owns a small concrete business and works all year round, 7 days a week (most weeks), 14 hour days, and he takes only 5 holidays off a year. He works his ass off. I am truly afraid that his business will not make it under an obama administration. You can joke all you like about taking that statement seriously - but he did mean what he said. This horrible economic plan will KILL the economy. It is not the least bit funny to my family.

# 31 Jones: The whole wide world (me included) is stunned (and horrified) by what happened to this country.. Since Bush happened. (I bet you never left the country either.. )
But hey, ignorance and Palin is, what keeps American middle class going.. Until it hits the wall :)
(Agreed: Biden isn’t the brightest bulb on the tree either)

I don’t vote, Jones. I only do entertainment.. and celebrity blogs.
So should you ;- )
(Moron)

Well whoseblog. Since 9/11 - how many terrorist attacks have taken place in the USA? None. Say what you will about President Bush (and i am sure you will) BUT to me, I am truly grateful to him and our brave soldiers fighting for your right to say stupid stuff. Who would have thought on 9/12/01 that we would have made it to 10/24/08 with NO terrorist attacks here in the USA. To me, President Bush has done a good job keeping me and my family safe. I pray every night for the soldiers who didn’t make it home and for their families. They are truly heros. I do not appreciate Mr. Obama’ s statement that our brave soldiers are air raiding villiage and killing civilians. He does not know what he is talking about. I think that is why when the soldiers were polled as to who they wanted as their commander and chief they picked John McCain 68% to ombama’s 23%. That speaks volumes to me. They should be allowed to pick their boss.

By the way - why do you even bother writing about this when you don’t even vote in the first place. I don’t understand.

cute kid but what a brat glad i wasn’t on that flight..

Matt didnt bash women, he said things about Palin, who happens to be a woman..there is a difference. He didnt say WOMEN werent qualified, he said PALIN wasnt qualified…there is a difference. Some of you people are so stupid, i can see why you are voting for McCain. Stupid is as stupid does.

and jones…how many attacked did we have before 9/11? none. your point is one of the dumbest points I have ever heard.

Adoring Fan @ 10/24/2008 at 9:09 pm

Matt is awesome. Great dad and family man. Very talented actor and has more political savvy than most people. What’s not to like? The dude is right on point. Love him and these tender moments with his little princess, PRICELESS. Go Matt! You’re the man.

theoriginalbiotch @ 10/24/2008 at 9:20 pm

Jared, might try monitoring your posters. the one palin loon posting as like 6 different people is on a roll. Calm down honey. you and all your personalities can go and cast your vote for Grampa Munster and Caribou Barbie soon enough. And I’m sorry, what’s their platform again? You know, besides continuing Bush’s policies and bailing out corporate jackazzes? Righties luv to through mud but can’t give their candidates stance on anything. Does brown skin bother you that much luv?

Amanda - what grade are you in. There have been a few attacks while Bill Clinton was President. The attack on the USS Cole, there was an attack on the World Trade Center both attacks during Clinton’s reign. So Amanda either you are still in middle school because you were too young to remember these attacks or you are just plain stupid. I think the later.

oringinal *****. How fitting your name is. I would rather vote for McCain than Black Jack and Blackie O.

Amanda is it past your bed time or are you reading up on the terrorist attacks in the USA. I don’t think they cover that material in school until you hit 8th grade.

theoriginalbiotch @ 10/24/2008 at 9:31 pm

of course you would. and again, what’s the platform? or does inbreeding not allow you to think past Obama’s a n@@@@@!!!!!

Hey ***** - did you just call obama a niger. That is horrible. I can’t believe it. You are a racist.

Hey ***** - I was unaware that New Yorkers are inbreed but if you feel the need to insult me - have at it. Whatever makes you feel better about yourself. It dosn’t bother me. I know that I have taken alot of time and research so that I can make an informed vote, and it appears that you want to vote for a cool guy without any real experience. That is fine too. This is America you are allowed to act like a moron. It is your right.

Hey ***** - Luv is actually spelled love and through should have been spelled throw. English lesson for you. You must be in the same classroom as Amanda. Don’t worry under a McCain/Palin administration he is going to continue with no child left behind. There is hope for you yet.

I think Amanda morphed into theoriginalbitch. They both misspell their words.

I truly hope that Amanda and theoriginalbitch (if you two are not the same person) are in middle school and unable to vote because it scares me to think that someone would forget about terrorist attacks on their own country. Could you have forgotten 9/11 too? That very well could happen again, and if you listen to Joe Biden it Will happen within the first 6 months of an Obama Presidency. He said mark his words. Now that is scary that a VP candidate would say something so reckless about his own running mate.

NancI Black @ 10/24/2008 at 9:58 pm

Matt Baby Is Sooo Beauitful !! She Is Cute !

Jones shouldnt you be carving a backwards “B” on the side of your face right about now?

What a nice Dad!! She is sooooo cute.

whoseblog @ 10/25/2008 at 1:04 am

Jones.. Thanks buddy for confirming me that you r retarded.
YEP, one should always judge a President by the number (or lack thereof ) of terrorist attacks that took place since 9/11. (I bet your 3-year old nephew can count them too, right? )
“Well, at least my family didn’t get killed”:
That’s the greatest political POV I have heard so far. There is so much depth to it. Such insight. On a celebrity blog.
Thanks buddy.
(I’ll rest my case; )

Isabella is gorgous, please post more pictures of Isabella Damon and less of Violet Affleck. Isabella looks like a typical 2 year old toddler unlike Violet Affleck who has been trained to smile for photographers. Sorry Ben but Matt Damon has the cutest kid and the hotest movie career.

I totally understand Isabella. I’m not happy to go through security either. Last time, they made me take my shoes off and made a fuss about my tooth paste. If I were two, like her, I’d be crying my eyes out.

Matt Damond graduated from Harvard. He has a right to his opinion just like anyone else. The Moron family can quit their minimum wage jobs, nobody cares.

MOVIEMADNESS @ 10/25/2008 at 8:19 am

You people are letting your political views get in the way of watching a what seems to be good man and great actor. **** off losers…

That little girls looks like a spoiled brat.

She needs a good slapping!

Matt Damon is SO ugly and very short. He is a chain smoker - YUCK!

I feel sorry for the people who were on the flight with that bratty demon kid!

twostrikes @ 10/25/2008 at 9:49 am

Matt Damon is great!

i wonder if Sarah Palin will share some of that 150,000 to help clothe the poor?

Oh, and I choose to NEVER pay to see a movie in which Matt Damon appears in ever again.

Barack Obama promises to return income taxes to Clinton-era levels, with the top rate rising from 35 percent to 39.6. His agenda - call it “No Tax Hike Left Behind” - boosts levies on capital gains (from 15 percent to 20), dividends (from 15 percent to 20), and death (from 0 percent in 2010 to 45, on estates exceeding $7 million).

These increases among existing taxes would work like brass knuckles on a wobbly economy. Even worse, Obama also proposes new taxes that further threaten to pulverize growth and jobs:

“I think it is appropriate for us to impose a windfall profits tax on our oil companies,” Obama said on May 2.

An Obama adviser told Bloomberg News that this could cost $15 billion annually. Obama has yet to explain how higher taxes encourage oil companies to increase supplies of needed energy.

“What we ought to tax is dirty energy, like coal and, to a lesser extent, natural gas,” Obama was quoted in the Feb. 19 San Antonio Express-News. Obama offers few specifics beyond the fact that he taxes even clean-burning, carbon-friendly natural gas.

“Employers that do not offer meaningful coverage or make a meaningful contribution to the cost of quality health coverage for their employees will be required to contribute a percentage of payroll toward the costs of the national plan,” Obama’s Web site states.

Obama has been coy about the penalty he would slap on employers who fail to furnish or finance “quality” health coverage. This would be yet another cost that companies struggle to cover.

Obama’s Patriot Employer Act would give a 1 percent tax credit to companies that, among other things, covered at least 60 percent of employee health premiums, stayed neutral in big labor organizing campaigns, and maintained or increased the number of domestic full-time employees vs. their overseas counterparts. Obama would fund this credit by taxing international subsidiaries of “non-patriot” U.S. companies at America’s 35-percent corporate rate, not the lower business levies generally charged abroad.

But as the Aug. 17 Washington Post opined, “U.S. companies operating abroad already labor under a bigger tax burden than most foreign competitors. Mr. Obama’s suggested fix would make it even harder for them to compete abroad - ultimately hurting workers and others here.”

Obama also would apply the 6.2 percent payroll tax to incomes above $250,000. This presumably would soak “the rich.”

In fact, many of these “rich” people are small-business owners who pay individual, not corporate, taxes. Taxing this country’s 26 million small-business owners taxes those who launch companies, build products, deliver services and employ 42 million Americans.

Obama tries to disguise his tax-hiking ways by peddling his “tax cuts” for 95 percent of Americans. The Tax Foundation estimates that 44 percent of filers would pay zero income taxes under Obama. So, any checks he sends this cohort would be financed by invoicing those who actually mail checks to the IRS.

John McCain captured all of this with bracing clarity at a Missouri rally on Monday.

“After months of campaign-trail eloquence, we finally learned what Senator Obama’s economic goal is,” McCain said. “He wants to ‘spread the wealth around.’ He believes in redistributing wealth, not in policies that grow our economy and create jobs and opportunities for all Americans. Senator Obama is more interested in controlling who gets your piece of the pie than he is in growing the pie.”

ITA. Matt Demon is what you said he is and so is his wife.

that little girl is gorgeous.

BECKY SMITH @ 10/25/2008 at 1:07 pm

Matt Damon did not graduate from Harvard he is on semester short..

Instead of just standing there why not have her mother talk to her..
She is upset about something and it probably doesn’t have to do
with security…It is nice to see Matt Damon with the president of
Diesel… and where is David Arquette he was helping Matt out at the
One x One event..

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money”. I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a Obama tie, again I laughed - just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need - the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Boooo nobama boooooo biden @ 10/25/2008 at 9:00 pm

Trey - Great experiment. Very well put. The waiter better get used to it because that is what is in store for him if nobama becomes President.

tell the truth @ 10/26/2008 at 12:01 am

That is one pretty little girl, Isabella is.

@ Harvard, he pulled some strings through his Principle because his mother was a teacher and got a drama scholarship, but couldn’t hack it and dropped out before his first year, and he thinks he’s better then a women who was married with children but still got a Degree in Journalism, and to pay for it entered pageants, started her political career with no connections and from the bottom, PTA to city council to mayor to head of the states Oil and Energy committee, resigned because of corruption exposed people in her own party (who are now in jail) and beat an incumbent Governor from her own party to become the most popular Governor in America and enacted more legislation in her first year then most in 4 years, and that’s something to denigrate, because Congress with it’s 12% approval rating the lowest ever recorded, the permeant political class are doing such a great job. What America used to celebrate some one who came from nothing fought against the status quo and corruption to win and make the lives of her constituents a bit better, how dare she think she can do a better job then people who just fight the next fight for the special interests that pay for their campaigns that keep them in power for the next 30 years, and you people want to give even more power to the majority democratic congress and give then absolute control on all the political leavers of power in Washington since they’ve done such a great job these last two years. Think America divided government is best , to stop the excesses from either party, especially when there is a recession and American’s feel’s uncertain is when these politicians come in as scavengers to eat off of the America taxpayer, that;s you least people think it’s going to be someone else.

ISN’T HE A STEPDAD TO HIS WIFE’S FIRST KID? WHERE IS THAT KID? WHERE DID THEY DUMP IT? THE KID IS NEVER SEEN WITH THEM…ITS LIKE THEY DON’T EXIST. STRANGE

There’s nothing like stepping out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes to teach children about those less fortunate.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money”. I laughed.

“ISN’T HE A STEPDAD TO HIS WIFE’S FIRST KID? WHERE IS THAT KID? WHERE DID THEY DUMP IT? THE KID IS NEVER SEEN WITH THEM…ITS LIKE THEY DON’T EXIST. STRANGE”

The kid has a father and a family! She is not “dumpd” to a stranger!
You American have to started to use your head, and vote on
Obama. Lock at your economy. Do you think McCain and Palin
will give you more money? No. But Obama, yeah….

And Matt: I love you, and keep up the good work. You can say and mean what you want!

I have to say the same…..Over the past few years Matt Damon has become a huge disappointment. He changed in some not so great or decent ways. He’s a genius at covering up certain things while only showing his spin given any topic. He’s gotten selfish in a lot of ways since he got married and definitely doesn’t go above or beyond to help out too many people in which he could or should. Don’t let him fool you- he lives a rich, high life with his own cares. He is also a very manipulative person. He’s really changed a lot and I think for the most part not for the better. Sorry but thats the way I see of it. It is rather unfortunate. I quit looking into him or following anything he had to say. He likes to play games and many of you are right, he appears to no longer think before he opens his mouth with some rather asinine things and it only keeps getting worse. How can you preach one thing and live another way? His greatest mistake is thinking this is his world. It ain’t. He lacks compassion and being considerate of other people, let alone a backbone and being helpful. You only have one life in that way.

how do you know that he has become a dissapointment?
do you know matt damon in person?i don’t think so.
have you tried his life style?no.
the man is amazing.he is married to a single mom.he took her daughter everywhere in europe.he goes to haiti and africa to help victims and donate money to poor people and has a message to his audiences in every movie he has ever made.
but what do you do?you blog to write horrible things about people you don’t even know.
i bet that makes you a wonderful person whith a non selfish life style unlike “the evil matt damon”.
i know that everyone has the right to express his opinions but you said it in an awful way.

” but you said it in an awful way.” well you reap what you sew”

say it any better. Oh and I forgot to add the word “hypocrite” in there *wagh*

What’s up with the “help aid” to Haiti and Africa? Why those 2 places? What work does he do? Agenda and intent of work?
As for the last comment, I said it in a direct, right way and I have a right to say it.

cheers*

first of all :it is “you reap what you sow” not “sew”
and second:i agree that you have the right to say what you want but before you ramble on and on about something you don’t even know try to know some facts.like saying that matt damon is a hypocrite.what do you know about matt damon that proves that he is a hypocrite?he could do easier things to promote himself.he could have cashed millions from magazines to put his baby’s pictures on the front page as if she was a new product.but “hypocrite”as he is,he preferred to keep his daughters away from the press.i bet that makes brad pitt and angelina jolie and thier “cute kids who are trained to smile infront of thae cameras”very honest and down to earth.

No I meant to say “sew” . Sorry if you missed the entendre and I won’t explain it if you don’t understand. I’m sorry you are the one who has been told you ramble on several times in your life, not I. Who’s bringing up his children? Don’t sidestep what I said or you’ve missed it entirely. I’m done.
