Matt Damon Travels One By One

Matt Damon step out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes while supporting the San Francisco launch of the ONEXONE children’s charity on Thursday held at The Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, Calf.

The 38-year-old actor vows he’ll teach his kids about the less fortunate. Matt told People: “It’s a hard thing to explain to a kid. And it is also unbelievable the way other kids are forced to live… The way you have to parent them is to show them the world… You can read about devastation every morning – it’s on the front page of the newspaper – but when you actually go there and see it, you realize this isn’t something you can turn the page on.”

Other pictures include Matt and wife Luciana catching a departing flight out of LAX airport with their two daughters, Isabella, 2, and Gia, 2 months. Poor Isabella doesn’t look happy to be going through security!

For more info on Matt’s charity, visit ONExONE.org.

I truly hope that Amanda and theoriginalbitch (if you two are not the same person) are in middle school and unable to vote because it scares me to think that someone would forget about terrorist attacks on their own country. Could you have forgotten 9/11 too? That very well could happen again, and if you listen to Joe Biden it Will happen within the first 6 months of an Obama Presidency. He said mark his words. Now that is scary that a VP candidate would say something so reckless about his own running mate.

Matt Baby Is Sooo Beauitful !! She Is Cute !

Jones shouldnt you be carving a backwards “B” on the side of your face right about now?

What a nice Dad!! She is sooooo cute.

whoseblog @ 10/25/2008 at 1:04 am

Jones.. Thanks buddy for confirming me that you r retarded.
YEP, one should always judge a President by the number (or lack thereof ) of terrorist attacks that took place since 9/11. (I bet your 3-year old nephew can count them too, right? )
“Well, at least my family didn’t get killed”:
That’s the greatest political POV I have heard so far. There is so much depth to it. Such insight. On a celebrity blog.
Thanks buddy.
(I’ll rest my case; )

Isabella is gorgous, please post more pictures of Isabella Damon and less of Violet Affleck. Isabella looks like a typical 2 year old toddler unlike Violet Affleck who has been trained to smile for photographers. Sorry Ben but Matt Damon has the cutest kid and the hotest movie career.

I totally understand Isabella. I’m not happy to go through security either. Last time, they made me take my shoes off and made a fuss about my tooth paste. If I were two, like her, I’d be crying my eyes out.

Matt Damond graduated from Harvard. He has a right to his opinion just like anyone else. The Moron family can quit their minimum wage jobs, nobody cares.

You people are letting your political views get in the way of watching a what seems to be good man and great actor. **** off losers…

That little girls looks like a spoiled brat.

She needs a good slapping!

Matt Damon is SO ugly and very short. He is a chain smoker - YUCK!

I feel sorry for the people who were on the flight with that bratty demon kid!

twostrikes @ 10/25/2008 at 9:49 am

Matt Damon is great!

i wonder if Sarah Palin will share some of that 150,000 to help clothe the poor?

Oh, and I choose to NEVER pay to see a movie in which Matt Damon appears in ever again.

Barack Obama promises to return income taxes to Clinton-era levels, with the top rate rising from 35 percent to 39.6. His agenda - call it “No Tax Hike Left Behind” - boosts levies on capital gains (from 15 percent to 20), dividends (from 15 percent to 20), and death (from 0 percent in 2010 to 45, on estates exceeding $7 million).

These increases among existing taxes would work like brass knuckles on a wobbly economy. Even worse, Obama also proposes new taxes that further threaten to pulverize growth and jobs:

“I think it is appropriate for us to impose a windfall profits tax on our oil companies,” Obama said on May 2.

An Obama adviser told Bloomberg News that this could cost $15 billion annually. Obama has yet to explain how higher taxes encourage oil companies to increase supplies of needed energy.

“What we ought to tax is dirty energy, like coal and, to a lesser extent, natural gas,” Obama was quoted in the Feb. 19 San Antonio Express-News. Obama offers few specifics beyond the fact that he taxes even clean-burning, carbon-friendly natural gas.

“Employers that do not offer meaningful coverage or make a meaningful contribution to the cost of quality health coverage for their employees will be required to contribute a percentage of payroll toward the costs of the national plan,” Obama’s Web site states.

Obama has been coy about the penalty he would slap on employers who fail to furnish or finance “quality” health coverage. This would be yet another cost that companies struggle to cover.

Obama’s Patriot Employer Act would give a 1 percent tax credit to companies that, among other things, covered at least 60 percent of employee health premiums, stayed neutral in big labor organizing campaigns, and maintained or increased the number of domestic full-time employees vs. their overseas counterparts. Obama would fund this credit by taxing international subsidiaries of “non-patriot” U.S. companies at America’s 35-percent corporate rate, not the lower business levies generally charged abroad.

But as the Aug. 17 Washington Post opined, “U.S. companies operating abroad already labor under a bigger tax burden than most foreign competitors. Mr. Obama’s suggested fix would make it even harder for them to compete abroad - ultimately hurting workers and others here.”

Obama also would apply the 6.2 percent payroll tax to incomes above $250,000. This presumably would soak “the rich.”

In fact, many of these “rich” people are small-business owners who pay individual, not corporate, taxes. Taxing this country’s 26 million small-business owners taxes those who launch companies, build products, deliver services and employ 42 million Americans.

Obama tries to disguise his tax-hiking ways by peddling his “tax cuts” for 95 percent of Americans. The Tax Foundation estimates that 44 percent of filers would pay zero income taxes under Obama. So, any checks he sends this cohort would be financed by invoicing those who actually mail checks to the IRS.

John McCain captured all of this with bracing clarity at a Missouri rally on Monday.

“After months of campaign-trail eloquence, we finally learned what Senator Obama’s economic goal is,” McCain said. “He wants to ‘spread the wealth around.’ He believes in redistributing wealth, not in policies that grow our economy and create jobs and opportunities for all Americans. Senator Obama is more interested in controlling who gets your piece of the pie than he is in growing the pie.”

ITA. Matt Demon is what you said he is and so is his wife.

that little girl is gorgeous.

Matt Damon did not graduate from Harvard he is on semester short..

Instead of just standing there why not have her mother talk to her..
She is upset about something and it probably doesn’t have to do
with security…It is nice to see Matt Damon with the president of
Diesel… and where is David Arquette he was helping Matt out at the
One x One event..

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money”. I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a Obama tie, again I laughed - just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need - the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Boooo nobama boooooo biden @ 10/25/2008 at 9:00 pm

Trey - Great experiment. Very well put. The waiter better get used to it because that is what is in store for him if nobama becomes President.

tell the truth @ 10/26/2008 at 12:01 am

That is one pretty little girl, Isabella is.

@ Harvard, he pulled some strings through his Principle because his mother was a teacher and got a drama scholarship, but couldn’t hack it and dropped out before his first year, and he thinks he’s better then a women who was married with children but still got a Degree in Journalism, and to pay for it entered pageants, started her political career with no connections and from the bottom, PTA to city council to mayor to head of the states Oil and Energy committee, resigned because of corruption exposed people in her own party (who are now in jail) and beat an incumbent Governor from her own party to become the most popular Governor in America and enacted more legislation in her first year then most in 4 years, and that’s something to denigrate, because Congress with it’s 12% approval rating the lowest ever recorded, the permeant political class are doing such a great job. What America used to celebrate some one who came from nothing fought against the status quo and corruption to win and make the lives of her constituents a bit better, how dare she think she can do a better job then people who just fight the next fight for the special interests that pay for their campaigns that keep them in power for the next 30 years, and you people want to give even more power to the majority democratic congress and give then absolute control on all the political leavers of power in Washington since they’ve done such a great job these last two years. Think America divided government is best , to stop the excesses from either party, especially when there is a recession and American’s feel’s uncertain is when these politicians come in as scavengers to eat off of the America taxpayer, that;s you least people think it’s going to be someone else.

ISN’T HE A STEPDAD TO HIS WIFE’S FIRST KID? WHERE IS THAT KID? WHERE DID THEY DUMP IT? THE KID IS NEVER SEEN WITH THEM…ITS LIKE THEY DON’T EXIST. STRANGE

There’s nothing like stepping out in hand-made Ferragamo Tramezza shoes to teach children about those less fortunate.
