Exactly. I don’t understand how its COLD for ADULTS to wear JACKETS and COATS while Suri is wearing a SUMMER DRESS with no STOCKINGS. I mean seriously, there’s something wrong there.
And I don’t want to hear temperatures get warmer when kids are paying…she still needs a sweater.

Halo, I think Katie is so hell bent in showing off her daughter’s one-of–a-kind summer dress, that she will never be seen in again, that keeping Suri warm does not even cross her mind. This is all for show and PR, and it is d**m sad. This is child abuse, and makes me very angry.
What a weird mother !!
What a weird mother !!
Everyone in the pictures wears warm or wool jackets or coats.
We can see other people in the background.
Why does she keep dressing Suri in summer dresses ???????????
# 20 michelle. @ 10/24/2008 at 12:24 am
Yeah right. sounds like you are copying Katie with that whole
blanket thing. Babies are wrapped in blankets .
At 2 years old, the blanket is just a blankie that a child carries for security, not to keep warm. The blanket is too small to provide protection from the cold.
This is not about playing. the kid NEVER EVER is dressed for colder weather. She could have long pants and cotton long sleeves on. I know kids that get hot too. The difference is that they are dressed in long sleeves, pants, socks and gym shoes.
It amazes me too dianad. A dress that she probably won’t even wear again because Katie buys this girl truck loads of dresses. I don’t see the point of showing it off…
to #26, just because you don’t want to hear it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exsist.
there are a lot of wierd problems out there with people.
suri could be mentally-obsessed with summer dresses, she might never really complain about being cold because her mother is raising her so good that she feels bad to complain, we never know. it’s not our lives.
on the other hand, it could be Munchausen syndrome by proxy or something. It could be bad.
We never know, so who the hell are we to talk?
“Sometimes, with certain kids, when they play, their tempature is higher.”
Really genius? Did u learn that in medical school. LMAO You can’t even spell TEMPERATURE. So its a pretty safe assumption that you never made it to college. You might want to try to learn how to spell before you spout a stupid, uninformed opinion. ALL children have the same temperature unless they are ill. 98.6 degrees (approx)….just like other humans. That’s no excuse not to put a jacket and tights on a child in cool fall weather. Its cold in NY. Everyone else needs a jacket. So does Suri. That means you and Katie both stupid.
“With my niece, it’s the same thing. It’s really cold, but we put her in short sleeve shirts and flowy skirts when she’s running around. We also either wrap her in a blanket when she’s done so she won’t get cold, or jacket. My niece isn’t found of jackets, so it’s usually a blanket, because she can cordinate between her own tempature to take it off and on.”
Your niece isn’t “found” of jackets? Um….you mean FOND, right? Seems your sister or brother is an idiot for not putting a jacket on a child and you’re just as stupid as they are.
” And, you know what?
Maybe Suri does have tempature problems. It’s so cruel and ignorant to prey on a child’s faults and a mothers instincts.”
I will repeat this because you are so incredibly STUPID. Children do not have “tempature problems” unless they are sick. All humans have an approx body temperature of 98.6 degrees give or take a tenth of degree.
No one is being cruel to Suri who seems to be perfectly normal and is an adorable little kid. We are telling the truth about her ignorant, stupid mother who doesn’t know enough to put a jacket and tights on a 2 year old. Suri would be better off being raised by wolves. They’d probably take better care of her.
“At least her mother isn’t in jail off and on, like..Britney Spears? (That being said in older terms, because now shes better.)”
Oh Well….that makes Katie a wonderful Mother…..just because she hasn’t gone to jail!! You’re an idiot!!!!!!! And I see you have no problem being cruel to others either.
God, I hate stupid people. Especially stupid people like Katie Holmes who should not be a parent and the above poster who is so illiterate that she can’t spell and doesn’t realize that a child needs a jacket on a cold day.
Sorry Michelle, I did not mean to attack. But I saw a special on Munchausen by proxy and it showed these parents abusing kids (toddlers and even babies) and get off on comforting them afterwards.
If Suri was 4-5 years, I totally understand how stubborn kids are about clothes, however she is only two….
Next, I know some kids are very sensory and everything bothers them like tags or jeans etc. but something about how Suri is always dressed wrong in cold weather is totally starting to bug me.
LMFAO she is so cute hahahahha
Are you insane, #18?
I hate to say it but you’re right, #23.
There are better ways of showing off a dress or looking fashionable without risking onlookers thinking she’s a bad parent, #27 and #30.
What’d they do? Put a bowl on her head and cut around the edges? I like her longer hair better. But she’s still the most beautiful child in the world!

You see, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve.
I think Suri is adorable. I think Katie needs to put warmer clothes on this child. There is no rational reason for a 2 year old to be running around in 40-50 degree weather with a summer dress and nothing covering her legs. Even a lightweight jacket and pants would have been better. I don’t want to hear the “maybe Suri refused” theory either. She’s not the adult, someone needs to be in charge there. I’ve raised four kids and cared for many more, and I will tell you, none of them ever went out dressed for summer in this type of weather.
I know you can not catch a cold from the cold, however if you pick up a viral infection and your body temperature has been compromised by say, spending time in the cold without a hat, gloves, covered arms and legs, it can make a person more susceptible to becoming ill from the virus itself.
Someone please tell Katie and Tom to get that child a coat and some leggings or tights!!!!
#32, while I will take into consideration of your attempt to make me feel pitiful for what i wrote, i really don’t.
i know what i said is true.
you don’t know what’s behind why she does not wear a sweater, so why bother?
Oh, and what I said about kids hating certain clothes? Yeah. My DAUGHTER can not wear shirts that are loose in any way. She hates them. Unless you have a child, went to college yourself, and know the mind and issues of every child in the world, you and I both don’t know everything. Don’t pretend you do.
#33, Nah. It’s cool. Of course we’re all going to worry about Suri since she is famous and quite adorable, but why worry if we don’t know? Usually these are for, “Oh their ugly here” Or, “Pretty here!”
Not a debate on weither or not someone is a good parent. But it does seem like Katie might have that, Munchausen by proxy, but I highly doubt it. But how would I know?
So, I’m not saying she’s a good or bad parent. Until we know for sure, we all shouldn’t really try to out beat someone on a keyboard or sound more ‘intellectual” than others. We all get spelling errors, 32.
At least if say, suri does not want to wear a cardigan or a jacket, why not then a long sleeved corduroy or similar fabric dress? Or better yet jeans and sweater. Just take care of the child.
Michelle, I am sorry, your argument makes no sense.
Dianad1986, it’s not an argument. I’m not stateing anything or taking a side. It’s a statement that in MY opinion, is ok to make.
“We shouldn’t say anything unless we know the truth, like that Katie is a bad parent.” Sounds alright to say to me at the least.
1968*, excuse my spelling error.
she looks like a devil child now
Dear Suri,
Are you tired of Jared’s sycophantic blatherings about you, an average-at-best looking child? I know I sure am. By the way, Buster Brown called: he wants his haircut back (no worries, girl, I know that wasn’t your idea, but next time the nanny comes at you with the Flowbee? Run like Daddy was trying to hook you up to the e-meter). Nice to see you smile, though I guess that could merely be a hypothermia-induced grimace. Tell Mommy to reboot her system because her hard-drive must be telling her it’s still summer if that’s what she’s dressing you in.
yeah im not into it,
they should have kept the length and just cit her bangs
But you do have a point, dianad1968, corduroy would be a better choice.
OMFG PUT A JACKET ON HER!!!
IF IT IS COLD ENOUGH FOR WHEN SHE IS NOT RUNNING AROUND TO HAVE HER WRAPED IN A THICK BLANKET, AND EVERYONE ELSE AROUND HER IS IN JACKETS SHE NEEDS
SOME TIGHTS AND A JACKET!
==========================================
There’s a difference between a child hating certain clothing and a parent not putting a jacket on a child in 40-50 degree weather. IF you’re too dumb to figure that out, that’s your problem.
By the way, one does not have to go to college to learn to spell. Most of us did that in 3rd grade. Obviously, you and your uninformed opinions never quite got that far. Your statement that temperature changes is incorrect unless a child is ill. When it’s cold, a child needs to be kept warm just like any other human being. Saying that isn’t the case just makes you look even more stupid.
I feel sorry for your daughter. You’re obviously not a capable parent either. Anyone who sides with Holmes not putting a jacket on her child on a cold day has to be an idiot.
And yes….I did go to college and I also have children. Three as a matter of fact. All healthy, perfectly normal and all are taken care of properly, including wearing warm clothing when it’s necessary.
Stop making excuses for Katie Holmes because you’re a fanatic who’s in love with her. It makes you sound stupid. Your opinion is ignorant and so are you.
You saw a special on TV and now you’re a doctor, #33. Perfect.
And Muchausen syndrome by proxy is used to get attention from OTHER people. Also, I doubt that not only TWO celebrities would suffer from this but they’d also use freezing their daughter in public as a way of making her sick.
Too many people were moaning about her bangs blinding her as if they could see through her eyes, #36.
You’re twisted, #44.
They ’should’ have done whatever the hell they felt like doing, #45.
Oh my goodness! Katie and Suri are toooo cute for words….
