Thoughts on High School Musical 3???

1.OMG!!!! Loved it!!!

3.The Boys are Back and Scream
4.Yes (I was watching it with a bunch of my friends. One of them is named Jimmie. He was like “You better not start calling me rocket man. Then we all like shouted “ROCKET MAN!!!!!!)

1. the movie was amazing and the dance scenes were breathtaking. I almost shed a tear at the end.
2. none at all :)
3. Can I have this dance and High School Musical. but I love the whole soundtrack
4. Tiara lacks Sharpays class and Im not sure she can really sing. and Rocketman is a good comedic relief but as a character he is rather annoying. so no I dont really care fot the 4th

I absolutely loved this movie!
High School Musical 1 will always be my favourite, BUT this one was almost as good!
The acting was better, the singing was better, the dancing was better - everything was just better!
There was none of that stupid ‘Disney Channel humor’
I swear I started crying when they sang ‘We’re All In This Together’ :D
It was so sad!
And I have to say.. I think it’s weird that they’re making another one. Even if it’s with a new cast. The ending of this movie really just screamed out that High School Musical is over.
And that British chick was just annoying! I liked “Rocket Man” though :P
But still.. I would probably watch a 4th movie, but I just don’t think it’s necessary to make a new one now.
The 3rd one ended so well, and I dont really know if they can come up with a new plot.

I have to comment once more that HSM3 was great for Troy and Vanessa. I have seen the movie three times and loved their chemistry. Corbin also did great in this movie and his Chad added alot to the story. Finally, he is the supportive friend to Troy.

But each time I see the movie, Ryan and Sharpay’s wardrobe grates on me more and more. Sharpay and Ryan were dressed ridiculously.

Sharpay looks like a washed up transvestite. She was dressed with such tacky necklaces and loads of makeup and her hair looked awful . Two of her outfits looked like the snobby Sharpay I appreciated from before - the white one in the library on the way to see Tiara and the polka-dot navy and white one when she scares Troy at his locker. All the rest were beyond tacky. I like Ashley Tisdale but she took Sharpay over the top this time.

One of my friends came with our daughters to see the movie. She is not a big fan and is actually sort of shocked that I have been such at fan for all these years. Everytime Ryan was in a scene, she guffawed under her breath. She could not believe Ryan’s outfits. Just bizarre - knickers, black knee-high boots. He was such a charactacture (sp?) of himself from the first two movies. Lucas plays a nice gay effeminate guy but his clothing lacked a style that reflected his character’s personality.

Ok - that is my main complaint about the movie. In regards to the new characters, except for Rocketman, they did nothing for the plot. My fellow mom fans and I agree that we missed the secondary characters like Zeke and Ryan and Taylor and that only Chelsea, and maybe Martha, seemed to continue to grow as characters.

I know that I am in the minority when I sing the praises of HSM2. But the best song of all the movies is “You Are the Music In Me” and the chemistry between Zac and Vanessa in that scene is amazing. That is when I first figured out that those two were not just acting like they were in love.

But don’t get me wrong, I will see the movie many more times to watch “Can I Have This Dance,” “Boys are Back,” and the prom scene which is my favorite.

I absolutly loved the movie and I’m not just saying it because I’m a big fan of High School Musical! I actually have two favorite scenes in the movie, one was when Troy met Gabriella at Stanford and told her no matter where prom is…my prom is here with you! And my second favorite was the the ending when they graduated and brought down the orignal high school musical sign and everyone did their final jump in their cap and gowns! I thought that Zac and Vanessa did a great job in their love scenes it really felt real. I liked every song in this movie but some of my favorites are “Can I Have This Dance”, “We’re All In This Together”, and “Right Here, Right Now” or any song with Troy and Gabriella! If you haven’t seen the movie you need to see it! I’m going to see it again for the second time because I loved it so much! It’s the kind of movie that if you have to use the bathroom during the movie you’ll actually hold it becuase you don’t want to miss anything! LOL

Loved the movie. Ryan’s outfits were a bit gay, not that there’s anything wrong with it. Lusted after Zac. Opening was superb. Didn’t like Sharpay’s extensions. Liked the boys are back duet. The prom stuff was a little cheesy as was all the Ryan stuff with the pink girls. They’re all so formulaic, exactly thought out, following the same plan each time. Yet I LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE and am taking my nine-year-old back to see it again this weekend. Yes, I am a 30-something mom!

& i love her songs she has a superb voice

For all of those people who are like, how old are you guys… how old are you guys?! and it’s just like i’m 21 and i am CRAZY about high school musical. I know people who are 25 and love all three movies!!! I just basically want to say that there isn’t an age limit to loving HSM or Disney… it is for all ages!

HSM3 opened in South Africa on 24th October and i’m seeing it this weekend. and the way you guys are raving about it makes me want to see it SOOOOOOOOOOOO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!! Do you guys recommend that i take tissues along to the cinema?! Let me know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

I thought it was the best of the three. I particularly liked the prom scene when they were knocking on the doors and the parents answered. That was cute.

High School Musical 3 is the best movie I saw in my life (together with Hairspray)…
All the numbers were great and fitt perfect in the movie but I want it all was amazing, just like Rigth here Right now and Scream.
The new members weren’t that much in the movie but I will see a movie with them again, but without the old members it wop’t be the same and it won’t be HSM after all!!

Half way into the movie I had 2 use the restroom so bad, but held it in because I didn’t want 2 miss a thing. So go before u get in the theater.

And yeah….. take tissues- cuase the end will kill u. When the frist note of “Were All In This Together” starts 2 the end of “High School Musical” u b will bawling.

Really, when the curtain closes and the six of them do their final jump {MO,VAN and Ash were teary eyed} and when the HSM 1 sign comes down they sing the line “I want the rest of my life to feel just like a— HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” they turn around and baam… u know it’s the end . Wow. crying any1
