Katie & Suri: Playground Pair
Katie Holmes leaves her New York City apartment on Friday afternoon and spends some quality time with 2-year-old daughter Suri at a local playground.
The mother-daughter duo shared a sweet kiss on the lips during their playground play date. Suri played with her stuffed giraffe and drew all over the playground with her sidewalk chalk.
Always the one to effervesce, Suri hardly has to do anything to shine!

Could Katie Holmes be more incapable or more idiotic? She needs a coat but her baby is in a summer dress with bare legs, no undershirt and no socks. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that a baby needs warm clothes when you and everybody else does. Look at the other kids and adults in the pictures!! A little 2 year old should not have to tell her parents she’s cold. They should have enough sense to know better.

Dear Katie, If in fact you and Suri do spend all day together,as you say, introduce her to the toilet. Girls are easier to train, in my experience, they like to stay clean.

I don’t think they are mistreating her. But they sure as hell are overindulging her. A two year old doesn’t get to decide what she will wear indoors or outdoors, or whether she will take a nap or not, or when she will go to bed. Her parents make those decisions for her at that age. That is why they are parents.
Katie seems to be a narcissistic parent who uses Suri as a little doll to dress up. Maybe that’s why she doesn’t put a coat on Suri — if she did, nobody would see all those cute little designer dresses.

Dipshit, it’s cold in NYC. Look at other people in the pictures (including this child’s mother). They’re all dressed for a cold, or at least chilly, day. Maybe Suri doesn’t want to put on a coat, but she’s just a child, and children aren’t always going to want to do what they’re supposed to or what’s good for them. Children don’t have the knowledge to figure out what’s helpful and what’s harmful to them. That would be the PARENT’S job.
Seriously, I realize that some of you like Katie, but what’s stupid is stupid, and this woman is stupid.
yes, i know it’s cold in NYC. but i’m someone who doesn’t get cold easily and maybe suri is the same way. i know people who don’t even wear coats in winter, only hoodies! i don’t see her shivering, or clutching on to her arms for warmth. so, stop being judgmental. suri probably has a better life than most of us.
Now that you can clearly see Suri’s face, you can tell she stays up
all hours of the night and day. She probably does NOT have a set
sleeping schedule because you can see the rings under her eyes
from lack of sleep. In addition to the clothes she wears or not,
I feel sorry for Suri. She definitley calls the shots at the age of 2.
One day when she is older, Katie will realize how foolish she was
to follow the Scientology guidebook to raising a child. It will be too
late then, Suri will have a big ego, and strong character that she
won’t listen to anyone. It’s sad because Sur was born into this life
and will be raised by two fools.
JJ seems obssessed with Suri, I guess cause she’s a fashion victim. I much prefer Violet Affleck, who goes to the park in shorts and sneakers like a normal child.
oh, and i have no doubt in my mind if these were holy brangelina’s children, there wouldn’t be any fuss over it at all …
get over the jacket issue. that dress looks like it’s made out of warm material. plus she’s playing…if she was wearing a jacket before they got there she probably took it off. I would while playing…parents leave stuff in cars all the time. I’ve seen her with a jacket so it’s not like they NEVER put her in one.

My daughter likes to wear dresses, too, BUT in cold weather I put leggings or winter tights on underneath and a sweater over —It’s that or she doesn’t get to go out with us at all. Simple really.
—And about Suri picking her nose —she only does what’s modeled for her at home!!
I think people are overreacting on the fact Suri’s not wearing any warmer clothes. It’s about 40 degrees where I live as well and I’ve seen plenty of people wearing both t-shirts and winter coats. Each person can take different temperatures. I have refused to wear a jacket the last few weeks too even though it’s quite chilly but it’s very much bearable. Plus Suri’s playing and her mom’s there to keep her warm. It’s not that big of a deal. As for other criticism on Katie being a bad mother: every child is different and needs to be raised differently. I don’t think it’s fair to judge how she’s raising her child, it’s none of your business, and you hardly know the whole story. You’re basing your opinion on a few pictures. Come on, people.

I don’t like the new haircut. I’m seriously surprised this child hasn’t caught pneumonia yet. I’ve always liked Katie, but since TC, her whole scene is creepy.
