Check out this new photo of a scruffy Robert Pattinson from the L.A. Times.
The 22-year-old Twilight star is becoming increasingly recognizable to the general public. “It’s one of these phenomena that come out of nowhere, and everything about your career is completely different,” he tells Variety. “Every 13-year-old girl in the entire country has read this, and you can almost guarantee wherever you go you’ll hear, ‘Oh my god! It’s Edward Cullen.’ …I’m sort of signed on for another two, but it’s all dependent on what happens at the box office.
There’s also video footage of the 22-year-old Twilight star getting mobbed at an airport in Mexico. OMG RPattz!!!
The upcoming film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s 2005 best-selling novel of the same name will be released everywhere on November 21.

I dont usually like scruffy Rob..but this pic is HOTT!!! He’s all dark and brooding..and WOW. He looks soo much more mature here. ..

Pattinson can act - thats what sets him apart from all the other young actors who get touted by the press. His performance as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes is amazing. I dont think some people can get it into their thick skull that he is amazingly handsome and a brilliant actor too. Little ashes wont be released in the US till spring 2009 so you have a long wait but it will be worth it. Also check out Rob in How to be. He’s adorable in that film.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money”. I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a Obama tie, again I laughed - just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need - the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.
Rob can play the tragic poet/painter type of role, broad comedy roles (Bad mothers handbook), romantic dramas, quirkier edgier stuff (like the haunted airman). Tragic and touching deeper comedy roles ( Art in How to be). action, villains. you name it he can play it.
I can’t wait for the movie and I’m 50! My daughter introduced me to the books and I love them. The fourth is my favourite. While I can’t wait for the movie, I’m concerned about the fourth. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how they will do Reneesme justice to give the story the depth it needs. The rest, piece of cake and I can’t wait to see it.

I don’t know too much about him as an actor, but he is NOT a pretty boy because he is NOT pretty, period. He must be a terrific actor, because looks aren’t his strong suit. IF I had to chose a celebrity to pattern my looks after, it sure as hell wouldn’t be him! Maybe he’s ripped or something.
I’m in love with this man. He’s gorgeous.

I agree with Desiree: he does resemble Justin Timberlake…somewhat. All in All, he’s gorgeous and girls can’t resist his charm that shows in all his characters. Ladies, he’s an actor. He’s a triple threat in this industry, Yes, but check out his work (music, previous and upcoming movies) to appreciate him for his talents as well.

I’ve read three of the books and it disturbs me that 13 year old girls read this. 16 should be the minimum age!
He Looks very mature for a 22 year old…I like it!!!!
silentsophi I work in an elementary school library and I can tell you there is restrictions on the book but Harry Potter when first came out was under the same restrictions with kids mainly because of the violent nature of the books. But after adults read it and feel for the characters of it didn’t see it as so bad. I read all 4 books and the last one to me is the only one that would be questions but really the fact that Bella and Edwards do not sleep together b/c that is HIS choice and he made her stick to it. I think shows some moral standards for the way the book was writen and it was written well from what I read.
The movie will be different but, I think the essence of the book is very much there in it and I can’t wait to see it.

You realize 13 year olds are watching Gossip Girl right? I mean seriously, there’s no sex in these books and the gore is not too exciting. They can see more blood on an episode of Hereos.
