Rachel & Hayden Have Pre-Halloween Hangout
Rachel Bilson and boyfriend Hayden Christensen do some grocery shopping at Gelson’s Market in Hollywood on Sunday.
Rachel, 27, also brought out her hippie headband and went to a Halloween Party in Los Angeles on Sunday.
A new book titled “Hollywoof”, written by Chris Doherty and his wife Nasim, highlights celebrities with their lovable pooches. Of course Rachel was there with her pooch Thurmen Murmen! Rachel, Elton John, Blake Lively, Simon Cowell and Paris Hilton were some of the other highlighted celebs.

Of course I am doubting it, the deal was he was supposed to move out and be at Tove’s, not living with her and using her car, but, like I said, the more she clings the less comfortable I will be with her working with him again. If she is broken up and she wants another big J2 paycheck she will stay as far from him (socializing, emailing, phoning) as possible. That’s just common sense!

It’s a Sunday morning shopping trip. Dunno about you but my honey and I don’t exaclty do Romeo and Juliet when we go to the grocery store to buy dishwasher powder and cereal. It’s more like Oh God we stayed up too late Saturday night get me a coffee will ya hon? I think Penny Marshall would be thrilled to get Hayden. Her last two movies utterly tanked and few actors Hayden’s age have worldwide box office identity, but anyway its a ***-for-tat business–you make a movie for someone so they help you get some other rmovie made down the line. It’s all about the connections. You bash Hayden (and Rachel) but at a time when studios are dropping projects and production money is drying up, actors are falling all over themselves trying to get a part, any part, Hayden and Rachel are both working and Hayden goes out and wraps up a three-picture deal AND gets funding for his in-house project Beast of Bataan. This is one smart guy. And since II’ve got a screed going here, let me add that while I didn’t exactly think Jumper was a work of art, Hayden’s non-performance performance was cagey smart in it. He knows people watch these DVDs over and over so the less acting you do the better the movie wears over time, without those artificial actor-y moments that stick out so much after the third or fourth viewing. Daniel Craig (James Bond guy) said this too, that you have to tone it way down so repeated viewings wear well.

Although I don’t like Bilson at all I have to take her side on this one. As a former animal owner (cats & dogs) myself, and loving animals, this was so NOT funny to scare her like that. If somebody told me that my dog might be injured I’d also flip out. She has my full understanding on this one, and maybe her reaction was less stupid but more happening in shock, being worried about the dog.
In my eyes this was not a joke, and I would have not stayed as friendly towards Kutcher as she did after finding out she was “punk’d”.

Schiepsi the director for BoB, is directing his pet project ‘Last Man’ in Australia and won’t be done before EOY 2009. BoB can’t start being made earlier than that and probably not until Q1 2010. BD is scheduled to release in February 2010 so HC will be busy promoting at that time, not doing BoB. Also Jumper may be starting to film by then. The Screen Gems deal just exploits HC’s celebrity and name recognition. It’s not an indication of him being talented intelligent or driven. SG is a B-grade film arm of Sony Pictures and the deal works both ways: they are guaranteed to have him as name-recognition in 3 of their films and that’s their pay off. Because the films are low budget quickies, just popcorn for the masses, it doesn’t matter if he is sober enough to act in these 3 movies. He has a name and that’s all they want. They’re betting that HC doesn’t have the stuff to get a real project together to the point where it can start shooting because ever since FPP hasn’t done anything since SG. Screen Gems will win their bet if HC is as big a dope fiend as people say. He sure looks like he’s doing crack or meth.

Believe me, I’m not naive, I worked in “the biz” for about five years and I know how very hard it is to keep a career going when there are younger, more eager guys lined up around the building for every job. It’s so unbelievably competitive and people can be so nasty and hostile yet Hayden keeps going and wins round after round. I think that says something about his determination and ability that is most admirable.

Hello to you too. I totally believe what you say about the movie business in general although not having worked there myself. But I can observe how very competitive it is. And many young people are lining up already for their five seconds of fame, some ready to kneel into it and give their very best, others not but thinking good looks alone might do.
Concerning HC I don’t share your thoughts at all. I think he is above all his other (bad) traits very very lazy and let many good chances pass him by due to not choosing scripts which would have fit far better to him but simply going the “easiest path” without much effort looking for a quick & huge paycheck. Best example for that: “Jumper”. And no new different film is on the horizon to lookout for, but only one smaller project which is not even promising.

I agree with #143. If he works at all he will be doing B and C grade films, no A-list except maybe Jumper 2 (if it ever gets done). He’s clearly not interested in working at making his acting better, doing everything since Awake like he doesn’t care. From where he sits, why should he try? He doesn’t need the money and gets paid plenty for just showing up on the set and reading lines off cue cards like his stupid talentless gf. He’ll get hired no matter what because thanks to George Lucas he has a name. Why work when you’re studying the Rachel Bilson School of Acting? If BD finished filming 3 weeks ago, than how come there are pics of Christensen and cast on set in LA in NOVEMBER which we are now into the 4th day? Just a thought and question which proves your information to be dead wrong. Moving right along with no offense intended…..
actors have private lives too which we don`t have the slightest hint of knowledge, still we are liking them, pretending we know something about them, because it is fun, makes us happy, and why not?

@200 he will be like most 27 year old males, that crawls out of bed and think the shirt on the floor looks good because that’s what 27 year olds think. Trust me I have spent time and trouble with a younger brother at that age shaking my head and shrugging my shoulders asking what are you thinking? Heck I even bought him razors once.
So asking me to believe that Hayden is a druggie and low life scum I would suggest you have a good look around because he is doing nothing else than most people his age.
When he has to Hayden wears what is expected of an actor and he cleans up very well, you can’t expect him to wear designer suits 24/7 he has a right to feel comfy, just like us.
I asked this quite awhile back, when people go shopping do you wear a $5000 dress, with the latest shoes and handbag? I would expect the answer to be NO but you expect Hayden to wear a suit 24/7 do you have any idea how stupid that is.
My god Hayden wears plaid shirts with jeans and a T-shirt, untied shoes and a ballcap-STOP THE PRESS- he is dressing like most 27 year old guys. Only difference his stuff is worth more than your boyfriend/husband wears, get over it.
At almost 2 years guess the so called midget does something for him, that you never will. Being jealous of someone you can’t touch is not a good thing–move on it will make you feel better.
