Rachel Weisz dons a black-and-brown-dotted dress by Tory Burch at The Brothers Bloom press conference at the Sofitel Hotel on Monday in London.
The 37-year-old British actress, who finished off her look with two-toned Chanel shoes, was joined by costar Robbie Coltrane.
Weisz talked about her character at the press conference: “The film’s called The Brothers Bloom and I play Penelope, an eccentric heiress who hasn’t left her house in 15 years. My very first fitting with Beatrix (costume designer Aruna Pasztor) was in my house. We were talking about the character of Penelope when I suddenly ran upstairs and brought down these old boots. They’re basically a cross between a clown boot and a Victorian lace-up boot. They suit Penelope because they don’t go with anything, they’re really clumpy and they gave me a funny walk. The character came entirely out of those boots – I wear them in every single scene!”

Mummy 3 sucked and i respect Rachel more for not doing it. As for Rachel in the photos, she looks quite amazing and i can’t wait for her new movie.

I saw a rough cut of “The Brothers Bloom” in September and its a great film. Rachel hands down deserves another Oscar for her great effort in this movie and she looks gorgeous in those pictures at the premiere.

She is a really good actress and very good looking. But her oscar win for ‘constant gardner’ left me baffled. it did not show any acting prowess. It was an easy role.
Rachel deserved her Oscar win for in spades for The Constant Gardener. It was the best performance of that year and it deserved a best actress win, not supporting and no it was not an easy role. It was a very complex character that had many layers in trying to figure out who was she was and did she truly love the man who is trying to solve her murder.
Rachel looks radiant at the opening of the brothers bloom and I’m hearing great things about her performance in that film as well.

To 14#. Sorry but i have to disagree with you. While constant gardener was too heavy handed for its own good, Rachel’s oscar win was well deserved. Her performance was the best and only good part of the entire film and was powerful enough to leave a mark on you after the film ended while the film itself was forgettable.
P.S. Rachel kills in that dress.
THE MUMMY THREE, would have been better with ” Evie “………You just cannot replace main characters when filming sequels….THAT character ” face and Voice “, is set into your mind, and when someone else attempts it, the movie will bomb…..I love her dress and shoes though…I also love her accent !!!
Rachel looks so sexy that it should be a crime, not to mention the fact that she’s one amazing and talented actress. Love all her films ( The Constant Gardener is one of her best performances) and i want to see her new one ( Brothers Bloom) so badly. As for Mummy 3, I’m glad Rachel did not do it, its probably one of the wost films of the year.
