Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise hold their 2-year-old daughter Suri by the hands as they leave their New York City home on Monday morning.
Tom made nice with Matt Lauer on Friday at the Midtown Hilton Hotel. The 46-year-old actor brought the jokes as he helps roast the 50-year-old Today Show host at the 2008 Friars Club Roast.
“People know Matt and I had ‘that little thing’ a few years ago,” Tom told the crowd. “You know, I was just taking his advice. He told me, ‘Nobody wants to hear about your dopey movie. Go crazy. People will love you for it.’ Matt’s great at giving advice. When Katie [Couric] asked him if she should leave the ‘Today’ show for CBS, he said, ‘Absolutely, you should definitely do that. People will love you for it.’”(Her ratings are less than stellar.)
Tom continued, “Jay Leno was No. 1, but Matt told [NBC exec] Jeff Zucker to cut his contract. ‘You’ll be ahead of the curve before his ratings go down and you’ll look like a genius. People will love you for it.’” (Leno’s ratings never went down.)
Tom joked, “Let’s be honest. We’re roasting Matt Lauer, not Steven Spielberg. So what’s the upside for me — besides meeting Gilbert Gottfried?”

Suri is SOOOO sweeettt
It kills me how you all see pictures of this child for maybe 10 mintues of her life a day, and assume you know everything about her.
You see her just with her parents and think she has no friends. You see her playing with her mom at the playground and think she has no friends. What about all the pictures you see of Heidi Klum with her kids at the playground or Brittany and her boys, or Post and her boys or Angelina and her brood?. You rarely see ANY OF THEM with other kids. And, how may of you take your kids to the playground as often as Katie does? And, yes she too has a busy life.
Ok, so I agree she should be wearing a coat and some tights.
As far as her necklace, looks like she made it. How cute is that.
they should have her in a car seat.. since they are always chased by paps. Its ignorant to have it any other way.. This is worse than the no coat theory they have going on.
They at least put her in long sleeves….Wonder where she is going today..?? The park, getting ice cream, Love the designer diaper bag..
How Tom is now a stay at home dad.. Where are his other children..
With a nanny in California or maybe with his ex Nicole..??

Suri is so precious. Katie and Tom looks so in love and gorgeous.
Suri has long sleeves on her dress. But no tights on her legs.I always make sure my boys have jackets and long pants. Maybe she doesn’t get cold.Who knows?

In Hollywood, homewrecking and cheating = free spirit, couch jumping = nut and crime. I don’t know if the world is weird or Tom is weird. If a politician jumps on a couch, I don’t think it is apropriate. But Tom is an entertainer.
Another video of Katie and Suri at the park taken a few days ago. It says they are ‘dancing’, when actually Katie dances while she twirls Suri round and round. But when they stop and the performers teach the children what actions they should do to the next song, Suri doesn’t join in, she stands gazing at the other children (who are all jumping in time to the music) as though she never sees other children normally. If she wasn’t being twirled round by Katie, she would just stand staring in awe.
I love it because beautiful pics like this makes the trolls cry.

Poor parenting. This morning my 5 year old wanted to wear shorts and a t-shirt to school. After he argued with me, pitched a tantrum, and tried to run from me … he wore a long sleeved shirt, jeans, and his jacket.
If they’re going to make her parade around half naked then they should dress the same way.
Although … I don’t want to see Tom in a dress.

On the recent post about Matilda Ledger, ( she is in New York ), Matilda and Suri have the same hair style…Identical !!!!…..As I stated in that thread, the only difference is, Matilda has on a warm coat, and tights………..Maybe Katie will bump into Michelle and see how silly Suri looks in summery, sleeveless dresses, with no socks………..I love Katie and Suri, BUT, come on, please dress that little one….At least long sleeves is a start ( the dress could be a little prettier )……….TO NUMBER # 42 ” THE CAT “……..our little grandaughter is 3 and a half, and I have mentioned dozens of times on these Holmes sites, that she also has a fit to wear dresses….costumes ( bella, snow white, etc.), and she wants short sleeves………She hates socks, BUT has learned to love patterened tights….So, we just ( my son, daughter-in-law and their two girls live with us while in school and working ), packed up ALL summer and sleevless clothes, and she has NO choice now, over what to wear………..It HAS to be winter items, and always socks or tights…….Well, Thank the Lord, she is finally choosing long pants, and we let her choose her sweater or heavy jacket……
Maybe Katie needs to do the same thing….I know Scientology stated that children are NEVER to be scolded, and they need their independence and all, BUT GOOD GRIEF, She is only 2 and a half, and NOT a ” remarkable woman “…OK< sorry for the rambing…Had to vent about the little one!!!
