Katie & Suri Brave the NYC Rain
Katie Holmes (in Sama Eyewear’s “Donna” sunglasses) steps out of her home with two-year-old daughter Suri Cruise, in New York City on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old actress’s return to television on ABC’s Eli Stone, wasn’t enough to save the series from declining ratings it seems. With a 3% drop from last week’s episode, of the 9.7 million viewers that put it on at the beginning of the hour, 2 million changed the channel by the end of the program.

is it just me or is there another standard for parenting practices of the “high&mighty”?Any elementary school would investigate a home,when a child is allowed to be exposed to temperature extremes,as this little girl!!!!!!!!

The script was boring started out being fantastic but where was
the dancing and fantasy .. Why bother bringing back his tumor
if all the fun is gone.. !! Not one great song and dance after announcing
it for a month since September.. Nothing… Having Nate say that
about Kate’s character.. as if Nat is going to spend all that money
so that Eli can spend one night with her.. only to have her leave
and the other case same heart condition as Katies?? Wow wippy

Thanks for the confirmation but I ‘ve always known this girl wasn’t brainwashed. She knew she would never have the career and ultimately the lifestyle she wanted.
Tom Cruise is the real idiot in this relationship. When will these older men start realizing that 9 times out of 10, the young woman wants the name and the fame? That’s all it is …NAME AND FAME.

When Connor and Bella were little Nicole and Tom always dressed them right for the season.
So why is Tom allowing Suri to dress like a doll? The kid needs to be warm…common sense right?
Methinks Katie’s too into herself and photo ops to kick start her waning career than to dress her kid like a normal toddler…but then again, Suri is a strong woman!. Shame shes sold out.
Another thing, you rarely saw Connor and Bella. Not a day goes by that JJ posts yet another Katie and Suri walking/playing/dining out/threatre going post and pictures.
And people rip apart Ange and Brad over their kids. Makes me sick!
It is sad that the only way Katie Holmes can get her photo made is by mistreating her child.

as a parent and after dozens of books on baby parenting, I followed some advices in the books. People around me did not understand what I did. But these practices paid a lot. and not every baby is smiley. a smiley baby is also a resulf of some practices. I am sure Tom knows more about parenting than most of you even though he is not a perfect parent, because no one is.
Where are Conner and Isebella going to school..? Australia or
Nashville, or Los Angeles..Every thing Kate does ends up being
a flop..

only Eli got to see the dance.. and asking repeatly about how it was
working with Katie when only Jonny Lee Miller did.!! The brought back
Kately Sagal and some other guy to run the company.. How times
have changed .. the in thing to do is walk up a sidewalk with your
daughter .. and complain that Katie and Tom would not put a coat
on them..

you can see Katie feel Suri’s cold arm and then try to put a cardigan on the child. Suri starts to whinge and complain and shakes it off.

I have 4 kids, all different personalities. One hated hats and gloves, another coats. But I am the adult and mother, they are the child and I do/did whats best for them.
Not what’s easiest for me and photogs!
What will it bloody take for this woman to give her daughter a coat? Evidently, it’s not rain! A hurricane? A snowstorm? Jesus!
That’s it. I quit.
The weather outside is frigid, and even if the dummy IS hauling Suri to the waiting car, it’s too cold not to dress her in winter attire for the moment or two that she’s exposed to the air.
I’m a full grown adult and I’m freezing today.
And even when I jogged from my truck to the office (15 steps, max) today, I was freezing, and I was wearing a down coat.
And I am CERTAIN TC doesn’t know more about parenting than most of us, #34. Put down the E-meter, leave the scientology center in NY, and take a LONG walk with nothing on but a thin shirt, okay? When they find your partially frozen carcass, let me know how brilliant Tom is as a “parent”.

Is she out of her fcuking mind?! As of 6 p.m. today it was 41 degrees in NYC and raining. I know, I was out in it.
WTF is the matter with this crazy woman? Is she such a lousy parent that she can’t even put a coat on the child when it’s cold and wet out?
i am in nyc and we have bitter cold rain today.
clearly, katie will not spend the big bucks to buy (or “design”) a dang coat for suri, so i am starting a foundation to raise funds to provide suri with warm clothing. our first goal is $47 US to purchase a toddler rain coat, 2 socks and a hat. i am approaching target corp. to see if they will donate a sweater.

You people are mean! I think she’s appropriately dressed. She’s never cold! She’s in our apartment right now and she’s shiveri—maybe I SHOULD buy a coat.

Everyone has said…but what the hell is up with dresses? Why doesn’t katie dress her daughter in tights or pants or a darned coat for goodness sakes! Poor child is probably freezing her toosh off! Forget the fashion Katie and dress your poor child!!!
Suri braves life with Tom and Katie! The NYC rain is a piece a cake compared to that.

I just get so annoyed with folks saying, ’some kids don’t like wearing , coats, sweaters’. Who’s the adult and who’s the child?
Kids don’t know what’s best for them. That’s why they have adults supoosedly guiding and nurturing them.
These two dingbats need a wake-up call.
Nicole never underdressed Bella and Connor. She actually used to hide them, like she does with Sunday.
Tom lost all respect when he got with Katie. He’s losing even more by allowing Suri to go outside dressed in nothing but party dresses…
