Katie & Suri Brave the NYC Rain
Katie Holmes (in Sama Eyewear’s “Donna” sunglasses) steps out of her home with two-year-old daughter Suri Cruise, in New York City on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old actress’s return to television on ABC’s Eli Stone, wasn’t enough to save the series from declining ratings it seems. With a 3% drop from last week’s episode, of the 9.7 million viewers that put it on at the beginning of the hour, 2 million changed the channel by the end of the program.

I’ve watched a video where Kaite tried to put a coat on suri while she’s playing but suri didn’t want it.
People mind your own business. You know nothing bout this family so don’t act like you do.

Not quite as dim as she comes across, then? Quite a calculating woman. And she might THINK she is happy with all the fame and riches that comes with being an A-list Hollywood actor’s ‘beard’, but there’s only so long you can hide from your conscience. Her poor child, brought into the world (and reared by a scarily fanatical nutjob and his pseudo-religious cult) as a mere public relations ploy (and MAYBE even fathered by the repulsive founder of the cult…posthumously.) Imagine having to live with any or all of that knowledge. She’s going to need PLENTY of fancy, designer jackets (to wear to the park :lol: ) and the ego-boosts from her bought (and feebley acted) roles to distract from THAT hummer! But it’ll never be enough. It’ll always catch up. One day she might just wish she’d stayed true to herself and lived her life as a mediocre, unmemorable actress with a comfortable - but not too substantial income, perhaps with a happy, little family and a man who loved her. I wouldn’t want to be Katie Holmes. All the wealth and prestige in the world won’t compensate for losing your soul.
I’ts very possible that Suri has a huge hissy fit when they try to put a coat on her on their way out and it all takes so much time…..they give up and tht is probably why they grab a blanket. It will be interesting what happens as the weather becomes much more colder.
I have a 6 yr old stepdaughter that has huge hissy fits when she has to put her coat on. She hates pants too. Her mother for years gave her too many choices…..and I really think she should have just put the coat on whether she liked it or not! Probably Tom and Katie are allowing too much “choices” or letting her do what she wants a little too much, Suri is only 2 years old and they should just put the coat on and don’t give her a choice as she is too young to decide on her own!

i couldn’t agree more.
I am very sad, very upset and VERY COLD. my mom dresses me for summer but it’s cold now and I am shivering. I don’t know who my Dad is, I will try to find out when I get older, so I can’t blame him.
Dear Santa, I beg you please to get me a sweater, some pants, a jacket if you can, and some snow boots, oh, also some warm leggings.

I hope she gets lots of sweaters, socks and tights

You said it in a nutshell. All she cares about is flaunting Suri’s designer dresses to every camera within range.
#70, thats why children have parents, they are too young to make rational, safe decisions for themselves. So you explaination does not wash.
I think she is on drugs/alcohol too. Ever since last year when they were in Germany, I’ve seen photos in which she was undeniably bombed. Her eyes were wild and Tom was having to hold her up so she wouldn’t fall. I really believe she has an addiction.
She was a smoker when she and TC got together. I wonder if she smoked while pregnant? Wonder if she still smokes. Probably so..if she doesn’t eat, she probably smokes.

I am not even reading any posts, just came on jj and saw this picture. It is freezing here and this child is dressed for summer. Come ON!!!!! A re gaytom and dingbat that stupid??? Obviously they are. She is dressed warmly. Buy the child a coatand dress her warmly- this is child abuse!
Why not send Katie mail and pictures of New Yorkers dressed for the cold weather at the theater where she’s appearing. If she received mail from enough concerned people, maybe she’ll take responsibility for her daughter’s health and well-being.
If that fails, why not call Child Protection Services?
Its not about Suri not having coats… I m going to bet she has at least a sweater… it is about Katie not being the parent and letting Suri decide. Let see 3 year old and nearly 30 year old… who should be the adult here?
