Sophia Bush is Dating James Lafferty!!!
One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush has ex-husband (and costar) Chad Michael Murray to thank for spilling the beans.
In an interview with CW Channel 11 News, Chad talked about his divorce with Sophia and her current relationship with another costar of theirs, James Lafferty.
Chad shared, “[Sophia and I] both professional and mature enough to get through it. Now, it’s just easy. She’s got James, and James and I are friends. It’s just a little tight group in Wilmington (North Carolina).”
Don’t you love how the news totally goes over the newscaster’s head? Hah.

Sophia NEVER put Chad in the gutter. Where the hell have you been living for the past few years….under a fucken rock???? If anything, after she split from CMM, the woman showed nothing but grace and elegance. She NEVER bashed Chad to anyone in the media. As far as I’m concerned, Chad is the one who needs to learn how to keep his fucken mouth shut and to mind his own damn business. If Chad had done to me what he had done to Sophia, I would’ve personally made it my mission to destroy his reputation and drag it through the mud. But Sophia never did that…..not once. So if I was you, I would get my facts straight first before going around talking about **** you don’t know anything about.
And unlike Chad, Sophia NEVER told the press about him and his fiancee. People knew about Chad dating a teenager, a 17 year old girl at the time, but Sophia didn´t go on tv, and say anything about it. In fact, Kenzie opened up her fat mouth to a newspaper and did it herself because she’s an attention hog. But why the **** did Chad have to stick his fake nose into where it doesn’t belong? If Sophia and James weren´t ready, and don´t want their relationship to be known by paps or broadcasted on the news, than why should Chad be the one to say anything?
Sophia could have confirmed his relationship with Kenzie back then, but she didn´t. Bc she had class. And dignity. Some things Chad is obviously lacking if you ask me.

Sophia has only been with TWO people since her split from Chad and thats James Lafferty and Jon Foster. Sophia and Jon did NOT get together until after Sophia declared that she and Chad were separating. The FACT is that Chad is the one who cheated on her DURING there marriage. Sophia only got together with Jon AFTER she knew that she and Chad were over for good. What did you expect the girl to do…..sit home and knit because her idiot ex-husband cheated on her??? GET REAL.
And those Jesse rumors is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m a huge Sophia fan and I’m sure that myself along with others would’ve heard about them. This is the first time I’m ever hearing about this, which clearly proves that you just made it up right now. If anything, you just made yourself look like the worlds biggest imbecile. So the only psycho freak here is clearly you seeing as how most of your so called “information” is based on nothing but lies,lies,lies.
On a final note, BOTH Sophia and James are the best and are absolutely terrific actors and people. If they make each other happy, then thats all I care about.

Sophia and James are really cute together. and come on, it’s been THREE YEARS since Chad and Sophia split up. He has since gotten engaged (he actually got engaged 6 months after he divorced Sophia) why can’t Sophia date? What’s with this “Sophia is a ****” crap? She has only been in one previous relationship since Chad. It lasted a year and they are still very close friends. The only reason Sophia/Chad’s relationship caused drama on set was because he was a disgusting pig who couldn’t keep it in his pants. As long as James doesn’t hurt Sophia I’m sure it will be fine on set whether they stay together or not.
Both Sophia and James are SO HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

I have always loved Sophia, I think she is a great actress on OTH, and she is very mature, she handled her divorce with dignity and class. just like Nicole did.. so I m very proud of her. and it is a shock if she did choose James, because i totally didn’t see it coming.. whoever she decided to be with is a lucky guy.. I just hope she doesn’t get her heart broken again~ as to Chad, four words ” MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS” !!!!

Chad is a total a$$ for spilling. He most likely knew JS wanted to keep things on the low down, but there he goes shooting off with his big dumb mouth. It seems really intentional. He sounds really bitter and vindictive.
I think James always had a thing for Sophia, even when she and Chad were still together. I’ve seen interviews of him were he really raved about Sophia, and how much he really likes to hang out with her.

#78 I agree. I think Chad knew exactly what he was doing when he outed JS. I think it’s a revenge of sorts because either he’s not completely happy about JS hooking up, or he just wants a little sympathy from the fans and the media. Either way, he has not helped his case. A lot of people will think he’s an even bigger douche for blabbing about JS (myself included).
There’s probably a very good reason why JS wanted to keep things private. #1 they might still be in the “let’s see where this leads to phase” and any public break-up might affect the show, the fans, and their friendship #2 they know the public back-lash this could potentially get from the fans and the media, considering they’re cast mates along with the Ex #3 They probably think their relationship has a better chance of working without all the outside attention and interference.
Bottomline, it’s not uncommon for cast mates to be dating, virtually because they’re around each other 24/7, but they were trying to be smart about things, because if things don’t work out, they’ll get a lot of flack for it. Hence, the giving it private part. So Chad, by doing what he did, basically just screwed them over and sabotaged them. Even if they’re dating semi-seriously, or just trying to see where things go and are not exactly “heading down the altar” (which they’re both single so i don’t see anything wrong), they’ll be forced into a situation where they’ll have to do things just to make the media and the fans happy.
Very sucky situation. Again I reiterate. Chad is a total A$$!!!

Some people are giving JS a hard time just because they weren’t dating exclusively in the beginning. What’s wrong with that? They’re both single. And they both knew what they were getting into. Dating around is what makes you realize who you want to be with in the end. And that’s probably why they were keeping it private to begin with—because they didn’t know yet where things could potentially be headed.
Besides, dating around while you’re single is better than getting engaged after only a few months of being together and barely divorced, and stringing that someone along.

Regardless if folks think less of Sophia for hooking up with another costar on the same show no less well it was to be expected. Even if Chad didn’t say anything I’m sure someone else would’ve blabbed and then what? Should he have said anything? No but its inevitable anyways.
I mean at some point if they were going to come out as a couple folks will still have their opinions on the relationship and how it might come across.
That being said if this ends up falling apart too I’m not going to feel bad for her because she should’ve learned the first time around.
Whether James and Sophia last until the end of time is not the point. Both are kind and sincere. No one is talking marriage and premature engagements, Chad was a dirtbag for revealing their relationship. Everyone knows what he did was meant to harm Sophia. And it is backfiring on him. James is a friend oh yeah that is believable. Chad is a creep and it shows.

I have yet to hear Sophia ***** her past relationship with Chad around with the media, or directly say bad stuff about him. If anything, she’s really been classy about all of it and kept her mouth shut. Even when the media was trying to elicit a mean response from her regarding Paris, she just kept quiet and even kept her friend in check who said mean stuff about Paris to the media.
Sophia didn’t even give any specific details for their divorce or Chad cheating. It was 3rd party sources who confirmed the cheating thing. One of them was Nick Carter if I remember correctly.
No one else on set has outed them. Everyone has been protecting Hilarie and Ian even thought we know about their split as well. The crew and cast don’t get along but no one has sunk this low before Chad and his mouth. James and Sophia wanted it to be private it was their decision to keep.
Leave Chad ALONE.
He was young he made a mistake.

Sophia Bush: I don’t care what the press is about a person that I’m working with. I care about how they come to work every day. I don’t care who broke up with who or who is sleeping with who or who went out where. I don’t care what you do with your personal life. It’s when people take their personal lives into a space where it affects their performance at work, that’s when I would stop taking someone seriously.

its obvious things are awkward on set, suddenly this season theres 2 brucas scenes.. the most current one they didnt even film together! they filmed it on seperate days apparantly.

It’s not his relationship to tell. If he wants to w*h*ore his relationship around with Kenzie, that’s his business, but he had absolutely no right outing James and Sophia. He’s not even a part of that equation.
The Nathan and Brooke scenes are all just friends being friends IMO. OTH has enough one guy sleeping with every girl storyline, it’s nice to see some actual friend interaction, even if it is between two actors who are probably involved IRL.

anyone know where these piccs are from? according to imdb and other forums kenzie dalton is modeling again. i think that maybe shes starting to be more independent, modeling is good money and a lot of traveling.

Can you imagine being James and having to work with Chad, it’s like yea I’m banging your ex wife and then Chad has to work with his ex and it’ s like yea I just made the set even more uncomfortable. Now she has to do kissing scenes in eppy 12 with another one of her flings, Austin Nichols, who is on the show now. I mean can you imagine coming back for a seventh season with all that shiz going around on set.
p.s. kenzie was on set during chads eppy and i heard that she and sophia hung out at video village. good to know that they’re not making the set tense and letting the past be.
