Zac & Vanessa: Hoodie Hideout!
After attending the wedding of Zefron’s manager (Jason Barrett) in Hawaii, Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens hide underneath their hoodies as they return home to Los Angeles via LAX airport on Monday. (If this scene looks familiar, the couple did the same thing at Best Buy.)
Because Zac and director Kenny Ortega delivered a $42 million opening weekend for High School Musical 3, Zac and Kenny may start working together again on Footloose as early as next spring.
According to Variety, Zac is almost set in a deal that will pay him a mid-seven-figure salary. Mr. Efron is working his way up to leading man pay-outs!

Zac and Vanessa are handling their relationship in a very mature way.
I fear that a good many young people today have been fed a steady diet of soap operas, reality shows, and brazenly sexual sitcoms that have formed their ideas of reality. And in their book, Zac and Vanessa’s relationship doesn’t fit their concept of what is real.
In our society, romance has been replaced by cold hard sex. Discarding one guy/girl for another in a nanosecond with no feelings involved. Two girls making out with one guy in a hot tub, “trying out” a guy/girl sexually as part of some reality show. It’s no longer about ones heart and soul. It’s about sexual gratification.
According to social historian Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, dating used to be a slow progression to finding someone to marry, and marriage itself was considered a passage to adulthood. That “ladder of commitment” no longer exists. It has been replaced by sequential casual relationships.
This is what young kids see daily in the media. It has become the norm for what comprises a relationship. And Zac and Vanessa’s relationship does not fit into that norm. Therefore, they see it as fake.
I happen to be from a generation that appreciates the couple who marches to a different drummer, the couple who doesn’t seek approval from the world, the couple who has a sense of decency and principles.
And most of all, I admire this couple who values their relationship and doesn’t make a mockery of that relationship by parading it before the media.
That which you treasure, you hold close to your heart and don’t share with the world.

I agree, Malia. These two are not out looking for a sexual “fix” or how many different ones they can engage in having that type fix. They are interested in each other and they don’t care what anyone else thinks and that makes them different. Some people do not understand that in this day and age unfortunately. Some don’t understand why they don’t break up and see other people. But if someone makes you happy why do you need to look elsewhere where what you may find is far less exciting than what you already had? They were fortunate to have found each other at such a young age because many don’t have such good fortune but nobody should refuse to understand that it does happen in some cases. It just doesn’t happy as frequently. And if it doesn’t last? Can’t they just enjoy this time and learn something from THIS relationship as long as it goes without people getting bent out of shape and spreading lies and belittling them?
BTW, TMZ is one of the worst sources to listen to. In the past year they have told so many lies about these two they should be ashamed. They had let up on these two but now that they are soooo hot again due to the movie that I guess they think it is time to start the rumors and lies again since they know there will be new gullible people out there to believe their pile of manure.

Thanks, Malia. I could not agree more. Relationships are how we learn about each other and about ourselves. It’s how we learn to love, and truly care about another human being. “Hooking up” is not going to teach young people anything.
From what I can see, Zac and Vanessa know what is important in life already……family, work they love, and someone to share life with!! Wherever life takes them, I wish them the best!!
