To ava #23 @ 10/29/2008 at 1:42 pm

Yes, it is true they can state their opinion, but when you are in the public eye you need to be extremly careful of what you say because IT DOES influence others. If Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers told my 10 year old to vote for Barack Obama, she would run around saying how awesome that man is. Does you understand what I am trying to say? Oh, and by the way, Ain’t is not a word.
=================================================

The celebs are not telling anyone who to vote for! As a matter of fact, one talked about the first black man running for president and the other mentioned the second woman running for vice president. It was very even handed mentioning both sides. Not one endorsed a specific candidate.

They are only saying that to have a voice everyone needs to get out there and do their thing, no matter who you are voting for.

Leave it to people on JJ to be to ridiculous to notice that.

LMAO! Ava, honey, don’t even go there - I could spell, parse and interpret circles around you in matters of language.

Those who are naive enough to be influenced by this message are those you really fear, I suppose. That only makes you more ineffectual.

Perhaps you should exert more of your time educating people on voting issues, and less time harping about celebrities who actually get out and DO something about it, rather than sit on their rear ends and harp about others.

@13

It’s people like diane here that scare me, not Obama!

they aren’t telling you who to vote for. having too much time on their hands and too much money? if people were as passionate and as involved about politics as they should be, we wouldn’t be nearly as deep in the **** hole of a situation we are in now. people need to care more about the world around them and stop complaining if they didn’t do a damn thing to vote for the person they feel would best handle the job. i applaud all the attention that celebrities are bringing to make people aware that voting is crucial.

GO VOTE!

friday is the last day for early voting (in tx anyway). after that, you can only vote nov 4.

VOTE!

MO NAME A BORAT! @ 10/29/2008 at 2:04 pm

I liike, is niice!

Dudes - this ad is NON-PARTISAN… they’re not telling you who to vote for, they’re just encouraging people to have their say. I’m from Australia where voting is mandatory… last year we finally got rid of John Howard (after nearly 12 years) and I was so proud the day after the election that I helped that to happen.

Also, I need to believe Jason Segel isn’t a McCain/Palin supporter.

mccain palin 08 @ 10/29/2008 at 2:08 pm

i hate celebrities. lol

When McCain wins, I hope these stupid celebs keep their promise and move the hell out of the country.

I voted on Saturday. It IS important…so I echo these celebs…VOTE!!

Oh people lighten up..the video is quite funny, Borats and Will Smith are hillarious..all they are asking is for you to vote, thats all. Its your country, its your future who gets elected.

I luv how shia is wrapping his injured hand & wearing the same outfit as the LAX pics TWICE!!!

I luv how shia is wrapping his injured hand & wearing the same outfit as the LAX pics TWICE!!!

Shia looked HOT!

eddie jones @ 10/29/2008 at 2:23 pm

first of all these are all leftists, secondly they don’t want you to vote because they are all obama supporters. legal voting citizens needs not to vote when acorn has disney characters, the dead, felons, bums, and everyone else out voting for you. so yeah please don’t vote, let hollywood put obama into office.

Well, how do these celebs vote? Do they get out to the polls? I’m planning on voting…as it’s being stuffed down my throat. I’m sure my vote will count…so, y’all….GET OUT AND VOTE….LOL…

OMG I LOVE THIS ONE MOREEE!!!!

I F UC KING LOVE BORAT!!

That was really good. I actually liked that!

Oy! More celebrities telling people what to do in their own self righteous way. Why don’t they go spend their money and leave us alone.

mary_hollywood87@hotmail.com @ 10/29/2008 at 2:54 pm

I can’t see Colin…I think I’ve missed him.

Um, that was Orlando Bloom not farrell….

Honestly. I come to Jared’s website to see what’s up in Hollywood, but I may not be able to stomach it anymore.

These people, many of whom I absolutely love, are not normal everyday American’s. They have millions upon millions of dollars and it really doesn’t impact their paychecks, no matter who gets into office.

Why can’t they just make movies and not be so political!

“Don’t vote!……..NOT!”

Ohmygah, that line just killed me. Hahahahaha.
