Alright, everyone that’s getting upset over the National Ledger account… let’s consider all the speculations about Vanessa’s house.

1. In the Enquirer when it was first announced she had bought a house it was saying that Vanessa was pushing Zac to move in with her as he wasn’t sure if he should even though they have been together most of the time in the last year anyway.

2. When the story was being broadcast about them kissing at the Heat/Laker’s game in Utah the commentator mentioned that they were “the LA live-in couple” which would make on believe they are living together already.

3. At the time of the Enquirer story Zac made a joke saying it was going to be their “Shack-Up Experiment”. That set the stage where it looked like he was going to try moving in with Vanessa because it was HER desire to to so.

4. By Vanessa’s own admission in an interview with Guiliana on E! News she said it was HER PARENTS who found the house for her—it was not Zac who helped find the house.

5. In an interview within the past 2-3 weeks Zac was directly asked the question if he was moving in with Vanessa and he said in no uncertain terms that he was NOT moving in with her. Of course, HSM3 has just been released and it’s not likely he could say anything else and yet he doesn’t usually say anything.

5. Now the Ledger is making it sound like it is Zac who is the one who is wanting to live together and that there is going to be trouble with Vanessa’s mom—you know the controversial factor in this story because they always have one.

Basically it is the same as usual. Depending on which gossip sheet you are reading on which week you will have a different CONTROVERSIAL story meant to entice sales due to the interest in these two. Probably a miniscule amount of the story IF ANY is true. Time will tell what happens. But after the Hawaiian vacation last year proved the were more than just friends it was also caught in pictures of Vanessa’s mom picking her up early in the AM from Zac’s apartment—so it is pretty obvious they aare with each other a lot. SO I seriously doubt either set of parents would be really that shocked if they end up living in that huge mansion together after all this time that they have had to get used to the idea. These two have been traveling all over the globe together for over a year. Do you really think they feel they have a right to push there opinion on these two now?

Karen, right you are. The National Enquirer is one of the least reliable tabloids around. In fact most of the ragazines are. I used to buy them until I began going online and discovered the truth.

Whether Zac chooses to move in with Vanessa or not is their business and no one else. Gina, if she has reservations as a mother has every right to feel concern. However, I feel the National Enquirer is just conjuring a story based on hearsay.

A very good example of a story gone awry is the incident of Zac being attacked by a crazed fan. The real story is a man who had one drink too many upon seeing a commotion and recognizing Zac just went up and pointed at Zac saying that he knew him and got pounced on by the security who thought he was going to attack Zac and in the scuffle Vanessa got a scratch on her face. The poor man. The news media and tabloids had a field day sensationalising this.

The only grain of truth in that is story is Vanessa’s mom having reservations. What mother wouldn’t have reservations about her 19 yr old daugther moving into a house by herself. Parents worry about the children(especially daugthers). Ashley Tisdale said her father still call her every night to make sure she home , and she’s 23.

It’s bad enough the paps are in front the parents’ house.Zac’s apartment and follow Vanessa around. I’m sure Vanessa’s mom is concern about her daugther safety whether Zac moves in or not.

I’ve tried to give the benefit of a doubt on who are the haters are on this thread. Although I’m not saying all, it’s safe to conclude that a lot are frustrated Nikki Blonsky diehards who in their twisted warped minds feel that Nikki is the “true love” of Zac Efron. Honestly speaking, it’s ok to root for a particular ship but if you have to feed your wild imaginations by ridiculing and insulting the real girlfriend of the actor you are obsessed with, that is just plain unhealthy. I guess if it’s alright for them to call V names. It’s alright to tell a few home truths which everyone knows but we’re all trying to be polite.

Zac is neither a saint nor a monk. He is a regular health and image conscious 21 year old trying to build a career in hollywood. Even if V was out of the picture, he would not be caught dead or alive dating an obese person.

There is no doubt that it is a boost to his image and taste that V is recognized as stylish, sexy and gorgeous in hollywood and holds her own against veterans.

Ashley said that when she asked him for advice he told her to cut down on carbs. That is skinny Ashley!

Nikki is a no go area for him on every count. Her lack of restraint in food and behavior evidenced by obesity and public fighting is one thing any aspiring actor in hollywood will avoid like a plague.

Even regular guys will hesitate to date her except they are as obese as she is. It might not be right but it is reality. Even beyond hollywood, obesity is bad. Guys will be sympathetic to an obese person and try to be nice to them (nicer than if they were not obese) BUT will not date them.

So for Nikki fans, they can abuse V till kingdom come, she doesn’t care and she is not their problem. Even if she dumps Zac, he would still run from Nikki. Her obesity is their problem.

Unfortunately for them, V is the one with the great personality, amazing sense of style, killer body, smoking legs, gorgeous face and the boyfriend. She has unlimited rights and access to that body they lust over and she makes use of it regularly.

They are the ones with the delusion, frustration, bitterness and the obese idol. The sooner they help her with diet and anger management classes the better for her and them.

#161, I can see in your well-written response that you mean/meant well in trying to make sense of some of the negatives on this thread. I think on a more logical, base thought level, Zac was giving the best advice to ashley.

As you stated, SHE asked him for advice (he did not take it upon himself to tell her she needed to cut out carbs.) He gave the most logical answer to an honest health question. cut back on carbs.

It’s the same as if a rich person were to ask him ‘how do i budget better?’ ‘cut back on your spending’ would be the most logical answer.

Obviously Zac cares about health but i think you may have exxagerated how far that concern goes, to the point that he has somehow critisized a thin girl like ashley or that he judges heavier women. it was a logical answer to her (ashley’s) question.

Vanessa is by no means some sickly skeletal young girl. as the above photos show she has curves and there are no apparant signs of malnutrition. Above all Zac has insisted in interviews that the attitude and character of a person- not their size, that matters. it’s fans that speak on his behalf about what kind of girl/partner he does/doesn’t go for that causes speculation and bickering. he’s not dating nikki so why is there even comparison being drawn between her and vanessa? it’s ridiculous.

I did not mean that his comment to Ashley was an insult, far from it. I meant to emphasize that he IS health conscious and he IS image conscious. There’s nothing wrong with it. All hollywood actors are image conscious, it’s part of their trade.

I maintain that while I consider Zac a great guy, he is not a saint and we shouldn’t put him on a pedestal he can’t sit on.

Of course he cares about the personality of the person he dates ( I see a lot more in V’s personality that appeals to the kind of person he is than in her looks.) but to intimate that looks don’t matter to him is a fallacy and is simply false.

He is a normal 21 year old with red blood and hormones, he said it himself that he likes curves and and sexy legs, it’s not the personality of the legs that he likes, it’s the way they look and feel and it’s normal.

He is not a sexual philanthropist. Like any young couple, he found a girl whose personality, interests AND looks appeal to him and luckily for him, his personality, interests AND looks appeal to her as well. They’ve never denied their physical attraction. That’s honesty.

My post was not drawing a comparison between Vanessa and Nikki. In my opinion, it’s an insult to Vanessa to do so.

I was responding in a non-polite way to a caricature of Vanessa drawn by a Nikki fan, not that V cares but I wanted to express my opinion, it’s a free world.

If one can draw a caricature, another can tell the plain truth. There’s nothing ridiculous about it. It’s more ridiculous to be hating on a young girl because you want her boyfriend for someone worse, like he’s daft and doesn’t know a good thing when he sees it.

I would just like to comment on that ridiculous Enquirer article.

1) There is NO WAY that Zac, being the private person he is, would ever talk publicly about his moving in with Vanessa.

2) He would NEVER make any negative statements about Vanessa’s mother. EVER. He is a respectful young man, who loves his own mother, and would never say anything about Vanessa’s mum.

3) The ONLY believable thought in that article is that Gina has reservations. Being a mom, with one of my daughters just moving in with her fiance, it’s a hard fact to face that your child has made the decision to live with someone and not be married. Ok, I know that’s really OLD-FASHIONED, but that little part of me felt sad that my daughter was giving him ALL the BENEFITS of marriage, like cooking, cleaning, and others I won’t mention, without the commitment. I felt better when they got engaged, I must say. But I know it’s a little tough on parents sometimes, who want only the best for their child, and their happiness.

Ok, that’s all this mom wants to say about this!!

This is my message to you Nikki……you need a reality check!!!!!!

BTW, we don’t know that Nikki was not invited to Zac’s birthday party. We just know she wasn’t there. However, given the way she has acted in the past 3 months when it comes to Zac a lot of us are pretty sure she would have gone no matter what she may have been doing. If nothing well she would have probably found a way to get on one of the entertainment news shows like ET or Access so she could have given a shout out to him about his birthday to let everyone know she WAS invited. But the recent interview in London makes some of us wonder if Zac isn’t a little put out with the way she has been using his name for apparent publicity purposes. Maybe some of her people have finally cooled her mouth off a bit lately.

If you don’t mind, I don’t want to talk about Nikki as to do so would give her some importance and even attention. I just want this post to be about Zac and Van and of course HSM3.

Sometimes replies on these threads are in regard to links previous posters have given in their comments. So, we need to take that in consideration when replying to someone. That’s why having as much information as one can is so important in not causing confusion or promoting disagreements among posters. Not having much information is what fuels many of the rumors about Zac and Vanessa to begin with. And many are not concerned in gaining information that is true and valid.

From my opinion, I think that Zac doesn’t mind dating anyone, obese or not and I don’t think he fell for Vanessa just because she’s pretty, I think that’s just one of the point. I think it’s true love that bring them together. Vanessa isn’t as pretty as she is now in the first movie but Zac loved her. If she’s more pretty now, and you say Zac lover her bcause she’s pretty, than Zac should love her more now.

And after watching the Mexico premiere movie, I can see that they’re still in love because they’re all smiles with each other. If you say they’re just posing for the paparazzi, than what for would they waste their 3 years together just for fame. If they had just wanted fame, they’d have gotten it in HSM. Even if they weren’t together, they’d still be famous, wouldn’t they?

After the recent photos of them spending good time together at Zac’s manager wedding, I am more definite they’re still together. I mean what for would they waste their kiss on someone they didn’t love? And I could see the passion in their kiss. And HSM3 filmed just this year, not long ago, probably just a few months before, yet I could still see their chemistry between them. That’s something that’s come out naturally from them and not acting out.

And IF they really broke up, I think that we should give them our upmost support. It wouldn’t be an easy decision. But I think they wouldn’t after a strong 3 years relationship. I think 3 years is enough to make their relationship firm enough to withstand anything. They’ve been seperated from each other while making movie, but yet they’re still together. So breaking up is a most highly doubt topic, but nothing is impossible, and it’s none of our business. We can only give our opinions, and the final decision is theirs.

Zac seldom smile in front of paparazzi, as we can see from the past few post. And after the premiere, I think he must be tired and thus he didn’t look happy to be hounded by the paparazzi once and again,thus his expression was this. I don’t think there’s any other reasons for this. After all, their still arm around arm when they return, didn’t they?

And I’m sure this isn’t the first rumour that they had broken up. But have any of them been true? NO! So this may also not be true. About the website, it may or may not be true, or it may not be the whole true so I don’t think we should bring the topic up if we didn’t know any of the truth.

Loved that video with Zac and Vanessa they look really happy I watched the whole video and it’s just over 9 minutes long and you can clearly see the difference in Zac from when he is on the red carpet on his own to when he is on with Vanessa, when on his own he looks a bit uncomfortable and is always looking to the side and then when he is on with Vanessa he looks so more relaxed and smiley like in that video when he is patting her bum the look on his face says it all. To me this is just another way that they show support for each other when they are faced with tons of cameras in their faces they stay close and that’s lovely to see.

TMZ should have some kind of order put on them that comment to Zac and Vanessa was way way out of line, how Zac keeps his cool with questions like that just shows how much restrain he has.

To be honest if I was Zac I would certainly keep a distant from Nikki she really should stop name dropping as it’s been said by many none of Zac’s other friends talk about him like she does and surely she must know that it will get back to him and that he would’nt like it so why keep doing it.

Just have to say that me and my daughter have just come back off holiday and while away we saw HSM3 and it was brilliant you can clearly see the love between Zac and Vanessa as it’s been said there was’nt any acting required there and the one bit that brought a tear to both our eyes and I’m not ashamed to admit it was when Zac was giving his speech as Troy and also at the end when the curtain closed and the original sign came down and it just left the 6 you can clearly see how emotional that scene was for them but it was also sad in a way to see the end of the original cast standing there, loved the jump though as well. All in all well worth a trip to the cinema and I have no doubt we will be going again before it comes out on DVD.

Just wanted to say I can not get enough of HSM3 Senior Year. I have seen this movie several times first with my 15 yr old grand daughters, 1 almost 16 year grand daughter. You can feel all the emotion each of the main members of the cast are feeling as they are making the decision for their furture’s. These are the decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives. Troy and Gabriella’s love and the grown, and they to have made choices, decisions, based on their love, grown decisions for educations that will carry them through for their promising futures by the direction of their family, teachers, and the Good Lord.

I can not wait till this comes out on dvd. I hope they make a dvd of the making of the movie and bloopers along with the music vidio.

Good to hear from you. Hope your hubby is doing better. The soundtrack is out in stores and you can get one with a bonus DVD in it. It deals with the making of the movie which I enjoyed a lot. The CD that just has the soundtrack is around $15 and the one with the bonus DVD is about $20 so I thought the extra $5 was worth it. But I do hope when the DVD comes out that it has a lot of bonus features on it like deleted scene—which there were several—and a blooper reel.

In regards to Vanessa purchasing a house, it is very good investment for her. It is also a great IRS tax write off so that she will not pay that much money back to the Federal government. BUT here is one MAJOR fact: you should not condone or feel sorry for her for “declaring” her feelings for Zac Efron. That is what is tacky about her right now. She needs to learn some manners. I know my husband and I know how he feels about me and no matter what some other woman may say in public about her feeling for him would not cause me to doubt my husband or cause problems particularly. The fact is the girl has not been seen with Z whether in public and private gatherings since promotion for Hair Spray has wrapped up. I’ve wondered also why Ashley is suddenly talking about Zac and Vanessa’s relationship? She never used to comment on it.

I know some fans like it but I find the gushing unnecessary and I’m suspicious of the motive.

If they say they want to be known for their work and not their relationship then I think their friends should respect that in speaking to the press. That is real respect.

Maybe I’m making something out of nothing but when I see all the teen drama with the disney girls and Jonas brothers taking up public space with their relationships and break-ups, my first thought is to thank God for Zac and Vanessa and the way they try to keep their relationship just between them and away from the media and I don’t want well-meaning co-stars to cheapen the relationship for them by always gushing to the media about it.

I really hope she stops doing that. She can talk about her album or her boyfriend or her other friends but quit bringing up Zac and Van’s relationship in every interview. It’s their private life.
