Good to hear from you. Hope your hubby is doing better. The soundtrack is out in stores and you can get one with a bonus DVD in it. It deals with the making of the movie which I enjoyed a lot. The CD that just has the soundtrack is around $15 and the one with the bonus DVD is about $20 so I thought the extra $5 was worth it. But I do hope when the DVD comes out that it has a lot of bonus features on it like deleted scene—which there were several—and a blooper reel.

If you had more reliable information than the National Ledger or The National Enquirer you would have known better than to listen to that pack of lies and then come on this board insulting those kids. Known fact as Vanessa herself related it to E! News is that her own parents found this house for her.
IF she can afford it then it is none of your business or mine how much she paid for it. It really wasn’t that much money considering how big it is and that it is located in Studio City in LA. Have you priced just a normal house in that area? She is not like some stars who went out and paid $20 million—which is those stars’ choice too if they can afford it. They worked for it so what’s the problem? Do you give any of your extra money to the poor? How would you like someone who makes less than you telling you what to do with your hard earned money?
In regards to Vanessa purchasing a house, it is very good investment for her. It is also a great IRS tax write off so that she will not pay that much money back to the Federal government. For example, Will Smith at age 19 or 20 was garnished by the Federal govenment for federal income tax oweing due to his large sum of money that was earned by all his music CDs.

I am so tired of the comments like ewww….#230. Vanessa is just turning 20, and is making a good investment buying a home for herself. She does not need to be giving her hard earned money away at this point in her life. I’m SURE Jolie wasn’t doing it at that age either. Geez…..give her a break. She has plenty of time to find a cause near and dear to her, and when she can afford it, I’m sure Vanessa, with the big heart she has, will do wonderful things for others.

Because Zac had a vacation that you couldn’t afford out of his hard earned money? Surely you kid as all of your arguments are baseless. In case you cannot distinguish, we are talking about actors here not Mother Theresa who had made it her lifelong quest to help the poor. As for what they earn, its simply silly to question them on how they spend their money. Simply put its nobody’s business but theirs.

Zac and Vanessa worked very hard for their profession and by all means are reaping the rewards of their labour. I enjoyed watching them in HSM 1,2 and now 3. I personally enjoyed Vanessa’s first album and am still waiting to get my hands on her 2nd.

the bigger issue that isn’t being discussed here is that both zac and vanessa HAVE and i’m sure will continue to lend their time and money to charity. As has been reported on this site many times, both have been more than generous with their time, especially to charities that benefit kids and people with special needs.
both have worked extensively with make a wish, as well as various other charities such as Donors Choose (which benefits schools in need), the fresh air fund (providing inner city kids with a summer camp experience) as well best buddies (provides employment opportunities and one-to-one friendships for people with intellectual disabilities,) both have also done PSA’s for kids and reading, and most recently zac has done several PSAs about the importance of young people voting.
in addition, zac (and i believe vanessa as well) have given their time during the holidays at soup kitchens, helping to feed the poor.
so in the end its not all about $$$$$. anyone can write a check, but actually getting involved in charity work, having a hands on approach takes a great deal more effort and heart, and to me shows what these two kids are all about!
but what’s heartwarming about zac and vanessa’s contributions is that they don’t seek the limelight while doing it. they just do it and given that, how are we to know how often they do “write checks” to support a cause that they hold dear to their hearts. In fact, it was reported that during the filming of all 3 HSM movies, the director kenny ortega, made charitable giving fun by putting out a “jar” where every offense of a pre-determined infraction meant the offending cast member had to pony-up! with all the proceeds going to make a wish! just because their charitable endeavors don’t make the nightly news doesn’t mean its not happening!!!!!!
so in the future, you might want to try and know a little bit more about a subject before being so quick to point fingers and condemn people you obviously know nothing about!!!!
I think that these assumptions about Nikki Blonsky not invited to Zac’s 21st bash are totally baseless….these are simply assumptions of people who have nothing to do with them personally and are voicing their opinions based on their own perceptions…who are they to know what goes on in Zac and Nikki’s freindship…just because the poor girl had the heart and soul to be honest about how heartfelt her feelings were doesn’t mean she deserves to be bashed by these irrational fans of Zanessa….what transpired is between Zac and Nikki and if Zac was really the kind hearted and decent guy that he is supposed to be, he would not dare put a girl feeling more down after she publicly declared her feelings for him…if he said that on tv in London we do not even know who he is referring that to…if he has any issues about that and Nikki’s openess then he should have talked that with Nikki herself..when he was interviewed on tv about the nikki accident and that was after she had declared her feelings for him, ZAc Efron sounded like the very kind and sympathetic friend that he was to her, no bad feelings at all…
If Nikki herself decided not to attend Zac Efron’s big bash for whatever reasons she herself knows, I respect it and I still believe its more that and not that she was deliberately not invited by ZE who during that last interview still referred to Nikki as one of his best friends…
It’s just so sad how so many Zanessa fans can pull people down and make up all their assumptions and make it like its real…

No, we don’t know if Nikki was invited or not to Zac’s party. We can debate that all day. We can debate the pros and cons of Nikki Blonsky in all sorts of ways. BUT here is one MAJOR fact: you should not condone or feel sorry for her for “declaring” her feelings for Zac Efron. That is what is tacky about her right now. She needs to learn some manners. I know my husband and I know how he feels about me and no matter what some other woman may say in public about her feeling for him would not cause me to doubt my husband or cause problems particularly. HOWEVER, that’s not the issure here. Having a woman KNOW my husband was committed, married, in love, or otherwise taken and for her to make such a comment about her feelings shows no respect for my husband or for me. It would show no wisdom or integrity or maturity. THAT is exactly what Nikki Blosnky has done with all her comments about Zac.
For her to say “Zac has been a really supportive friend and encouraged me” would be acceptable. But that’s not what she did. And given her personality she should know IF she had a boyfriend she wouldn’t want some girl doing and saying the things she did about her boyfriend. And to me she doesn’t care if she sets up Vanessa for ridicule because after all this time if she said some things early on out of ignorance than she has had ample time to know better than do make the same mistake again. However, by the last video posted here it would seem that she is just defiant and likes the attention. I’m sure that when Zac said about some causing drama he could very well have been speaking about Nikki—but being the nice and mannerly guy he is—he would say anything directly. But if I was Nikki, I wouldn’t push it as I’m sure Zac can have a temper when pushed too far.
