It’s funny because there were alot of older women in the crowd then younger females! LOL!
And, he is just causal! Guess, he wanted to be comfty! lol. He is usually decked out in a suit!

Hey this is Alex Morales i live in a small town in louisiana and i have a family of 8, four girls and two
boys. Unfortunately my little 8 year old brother jacob was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes about 4 months
ago and everyone was shocked. It happened like this… Me, Christina (one of my younger sisters), and Jacob when to a summer camp near Baton Rouge just for a week to get out of the house and have some fun. Well at the camp he was really not feeling good and we didn’t know why so we kept asking him what’s wrong jacob, and he would just say I don’t know and he was crying. I wanted to know what was wrong so i went talk to the main councilor to keep a watch on him because I thought it was someone picking on him. The rest of the week one second he would be perfectly fine and the next he would start crying saying he did not feel good. Once we got home my parents we freaking out because he looked like my grandpa did before he died. The next day my mom brought him to the doctor to check up on him, briefly after they got their the doctor rushed him and my mom to Oshner hospital in New Orleans. My Dad got all of us after he herd and told us that he was sick and had and he will be sick for the rest of his life. He tried to explain in the best way he could of what exactly what was wrong with him to all my younger brothers and sisters. He told us that Jacob’s pelvis couldn’t produce incline to break down the sugar in his blood stream. Most of my little sisters had no idea what he was talking about ,but me and Jacqueline knew exactly what was going on. We had to wait a week before we could go see him in New Orleans ,but we we got their everyone came all of our aunts, uncles, and a couple of family friends. But when we got their it was very emotional everyone cried but my Dad because he is a big tough guy and all lol. We all loved him and was soo glad to see him! It was a growing experience and we realized how easily we could have lost him. My mom was telling him how lucky we were because if we wouldn’t have noticed he could have died and my little bro said Y’all aren’t the lucky ones I am. He has gotten better with handling it he is even giving him self his own shot. But he still is having trouble with not being the same as everyone else. He is going to have trouble around the up coming holidays , so here i am asking for your help, to encourage him to fight this and to not worry about being like everyone else to be his own person.

P.S. (He is a very big fan of y’all and he has seen nicks commercials about his diabetes and his face lights up every time he sees it. Mabie if you could write him a letter or an autograph it could give him that extra push to get through it.)

I ,like Nick, have diabetes. I have type two though and have had it for three years (and I’m 13!). I think it’s beautiful what he does for people with diabetes and I hope he keeps doing it! I Love You Nick! I’m a DIABETIC now and forever!
