Robert Pattinson - “Never Think”
Robert Pattinson soulfully sings that he’s in love in the song “Never Think” on the Twilight soundtrack, due out in stores on November 4th.
The film’s spooking soundtrack features songs from Paramore, Linkin Park, Collective Soul and Muse. In addition to Robert’s song, “Never Think”, “Spotlight” and “Bella’s Lullaby” are all available to listen to on YouTube.

His voice is so gorgeous. A lot of people can’t seem to appreciate his sound because it’s not something they expected from him. But, I think his voice as well as the folk genre fits him perfectly. It makes him sound so vulnerable and open when he sings. It’s breathtaking.

I”ve seen enough clips of the movie to see where this will fit. The music is nice. I’m not so much of a big fan of Bob Dylan style singing, but his voice is nice and mellow.

I love his voice. He is so passionate with his music. It becomes more about the way the song makes you feel when you listen to it rather than just the lyrics themselves. I think he is amazingly talented and his singing is unique and beautiful.
I was unsure after seeing the ‘Whiskey’ videos ~ they just left a lot to be desired (the poor quality of the recordings made them hard to appreciate). This cleaner version was something else entirely. Blues/Folk is a special genre that not too many people can carry off. Leave it to Rob to surprise us all with his depth, musicality & once again, his ability to successfully swim upstream, against the current.
I can understand why he’s been so hesitant to talk about/share his music ~ it felt so personal, almost an invasion of his privacy. Sitting here in the dark, listening to his gruff, strong voice, I felt a connection that one might feel with an aged blues singer in an old New Orleans bar: pouring out his heart & soul to anyone who’s still listening ~ easing the pain, washing away the day’s troubles. Very compelling, not for your every-ear. If you’re looking for your average joe, Rob Pattinson is NOT that guy. But if you want something more complex, deeper, something special, you may have found it. I look forward to hearing more…

Its the same individuality he brings to his acting. To say he;s an individual and then say he reminds me of Depp seems a contradiction in terms but I think you know what I mean. Both men do their own thing. It wont appeal to everyone but if you do love that kind of thing then your hooked and hooked for life.

As Michelle says below, Robert Pattinson’s song is not the one you would expect from a 22 year old young man. Robert never ceases to amaze me… First word that comes to my mind is “fragility”. So… fragile, and sweet, so beautiful that it could barely be real: like a dream that could be shatered with the first sunbeam, or the midst that briefly lingers when the rain stops… Yeah, I´m feeling kinda poetic. No, seriously; a lovely song, subtle, beautiful, to be listened at on a rainy evening, while you lay on your bed.

Wow! The song is so deep and beautiful and his voice hauntingly melodic. This is a truly mult-talented individual. He keeps doing the unexpected and doing it well. I’ll admit I wasn’t sure about the singing component since most actors can’t really manage it, but I am truly impressed. He is genuinely an actor and musician. Who knew he could truly do it all? I agree with the Johnny Depp analysis, alike but different. I’m eagerly anticipating that long, illustrious career, too.
