Angelina Jolie: Halloween Costumes Revealed!
Angelina Jolie gets up close and personal on the December 2008 cover of UK’s Harper’s Bazaar. Pure glamour.
As for Halloween, the Jolie-Pitt clan went trick-or-treating.
Maddox dressed as a marine with a helmet, Zahara chose a Jolly Green Giant outfit and Shiloh dressed as a sheriff.
According to Star, Shiloh saying to Angie, “I want more candy, mom.”
Angelina told her, “You’ll get more, there are more houses.” Shiloh was tired by the end of their trick-or-treating, good dad Brad Pitt carried her.

I went to go see Changeling starring Angelina Jolie (based on a true story) last night. Incredible movie. So well made and put together. I couldn’t pick out one thing I didnt like about it. Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood both deserve Oscars for their contributions to this movie. Although the movie is sad, Jolie brings out the tremendous strength in this woman (Christine Collins). It’s truly shocking how the Los Angeles police department reacted. One of Angelina Jolie’s best performances. Seeing this is just made me realize all over again- what a damn incredible actress she really is- I mean she can do this role and then do a role like Mr & Mrs Smith or Wanted…so drastically different! LOVE JOLIE!
GO SEE THIS MOVIE! DONT WAIT TO RENT!
*I was actually pleasantly surprised to see a younger crowd (20’s & teens) in the theater as well as the usual for this type of movie…everyone enjoyed the movie from what I could tell, I overhear one person saying “awesome movie” when asked by someone outside
Oh, yeah..I also went to see Saw5 and left after about 40 or so minutes…just stupid…I saw all previous ones and this is BY FAR the worst! I won’t even bother seeing the already confirmed Saw6! What a waste of time…just gross and the “story lines” are GETTING SOOO OLD!

Madd is on the other side of Brad so you can’t see his face in the pic but you can see his legs in the Marine fatigues.

Brad and Angie are together as always and out enjoying life with their kids. They can go undercover much of the time and this drives the no-nothings crazy.

Saw Changeling 2X already, with 2 different groups of friends, on Friday and then today. Today’s show was almost full, just a few seats left down at the very front. Very mixed age wise crowd, people cried and clapped. Angelina’s eyes talk for her and every emotion is shown. Great film, Eastwood is a wonder. Such a sad real story.
CCBB trailer played before Changling and people were saying that looks good.

Awesome that they had a normal halloween like every other kid. They’ve been saying they want them to have as normal a life as possible, so great that they succeed. I’m sure much planning on the part of the security team, but it’s great that they pulled it off.

Oh you reminded me of how wicked I am!
My parents and my aunt were disabled, so we all grew up with this kind of “dark humor” .
Anyway to make a long story short,
we always had an extra wheelchair hanging around and My mom and I took my kids to Sesame Land (a huge water park based on Sesame Street) in Pennsylvania.
We always brought along one of the extra portable wheelchairs for these long hauls because both the girls could fit in them when they were too big for strollers.
So my 3 year old was off with my aunt and my 5 year old and I were stopped in at a fountain waitin for them to get back. My five year old was sitting in the wheel chair when all of a sudden the “Count” from sesame street made and appearance. She was so excited she jumped out of the chair and ran to hug him. Everyone gasped
Me being the wicked witch I am, turned to my mom and yelled (mock tearfully), “Oh my god! My baby! My baby can walk! She was cured by the Count!!!”
My mom started laughing so hard she had to power her chair away from me because she couldn’t catch her breath.
My aunt laughed so hard she had to run and find a bathroom. Everyone took my laughing as “hysterical joy”.

ITA. I think some of the critics had their nose out of joint because it was not a typical Eastwood film and some of the obscure bloggers were on an agenda to smear the film. Some critics did not like the length of the movie or the subplots. However, it is a masterful piece of work , well acted and directed. The audience reaction to the film is very favorable with an A- score. I recommend it to anyone who has not seen it.

Without them the entire story doesn’t get told and all you have is a distraught woman trying to find her son. How was she going to do that when the entire point of her son being missing is that the police fcuked up the investigation from the get-go and what happened to him only became clear because another kid had to be deported to Canada.
To me a lot of the reviews of the movie were simply people over-analyzing. Even when you’ve got the scriptwriter saying he waded through over 6,000 pages of authentic documentation…they quibbled with the events and the telling of the story. JMS left the mother out of the story, so I’m surprised they didn’t then complain about that. Sometimes critics spend more time looking for things wrong with a movie than enjoying the things that are right with a movie - and that was clearly the case with Changeling.

Just before we left Brad pulled me the side and said, “PT…as a fellow Missourian I know you have my back. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt almost certainly are strong contenders in the best actor category — shining, word has it, in their respective upcoming movie, “Revolutionary Road” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
But they and others might be up against a subtle force they can do little about in the best actor race: Oscar voters tend to favor actors playing real people.
In the past six best actor races, there were three years in which an actor playing a real person was nominated alongside actors portraying fictional characters, and each time the actor playing a true-life person won. You have to go all the way back to the awards for 2001 to find a counter-example: Denzel Washington’s victory for playing Alonzo Harris in “Training Day,” which bested Will Smith as Muhammad Ali and Russell Crowe as John Nash. Otherwise, it was actors playing real-life figures — Ray Charles, Idi Amin, Truman Capote — who took the statue.
This year that means if even one from among the stellar group that includes Frank Langella (as Richard Nixon), Sean Penn (as Harvey Milk) and Josh Brolin (as George W. Bush) lands a best actor nomination, everyone else will have to weigh that added factor.
Best actress favors real personnages even more; the statue has gone to women playing real people six of the eight years this decade. But with frontrunners such as Meryl Steep, Nicole Kidman and Sally Hawkins taking on fictional roles this go-round, this year may break form.
It’s hard to pinpoint what makes Oscar voters tilt this way. But one likely factor is a frame of reference: Philip Seymour Hoffman acting and sounding like Capote probably will move the voter more than Terrence Howard’s acting and sounding like Djay from “Hustle & Flow,” a person the Academy member has never seen outside the movie (and hasn’t seen at all if they’ve never seen the movie).
Plus, there’s the impersonation factor: How could a voter not think Jamie Foxx is good; he even looks like Charles.
It wasn’t always this way. In the 1990s, fictional characters bested real people in the best actor category seven out of nine times they went up against one another. And an actress playing a real person won only twice in the 1990s.
So what’s changed?
For one thing, the rise of celebrity culture. The TMZs of the world have made it harder to separate actors from their roles since we now know them as real people — unless they’re playing other real people, in which case voters can identify with the person they’re playing.
Even if DiCaprio and Pitt are unable to buck the recent trend favoring real-life portrayals, they can take solace in the likelihood they’ll have other shots at the top prize. But the seeming voter bias toward real-life bios could also impact a few once-in-a-lifetime performances. Those include the comeback for Mickey Rourke, whose Randy the Ram in “The Wrestler” is a tragic figure to rival Willy Loman; Richard Jenkins, whose understated Walter Vale in “The Visitor” is exquisitely subtle; and Christian Bale, whose Batman in “The Dark Knight” is so darkly evocative.

You do have to have a sense of humor to deal with the ignorance of other.
For example:
People speak very loudly to people in wheelchairs (because if their legs don’t work, wel it is a given that they can’t hear!)
When you go into a restaurant with someone in a wheelchair, it is a 50 - 50 chance that the waitress will ask you what THEY want to eat (because people in wheelchairs obviously can’t read)
Oh the list goes on and on.
My mom and my aunt had polio during the epidemic in the 40s. My dad got ALS (Lou Gerhig’s disease when I was about 14) So I have seen just about all of the different flavors of stupidity that comes when people are threatend by someone who looks different.
Oh God I just thought of another story! When we were in Philidelphia for Sesame Land. I crashed my mom’s van just outside of Independence Hall. I was so upset that my aunt to the kids inside and I sat in the portable chair outside with my mom. I felt so awful I was crying non-stop and my mom was telling me it was no big deal.
Picture if you will two women in wheelchairs sitting outside IH, downtown Philly, one very upset……weren’t we surprised when people started giving us money! I went instantly from tears to busting a gut laughing!

Hello there.. If you get a chance to see the movie during the week, do so.. its very captivating.. I was constantly telling myself.. dont cry its a true story but this is just a movie.. she was very compelling in her role. In my mind, second to Girl interrupted, this is one powerhouse of a performance.. way better than AMH and I thought that was good too..

Not to engage in a battle of prerogatives.. but why would someone not dress a child warmly in chilly weather consistently.. and not see it as lacking in some way.
I am not too worked up about matching ensembles and such but as a parent, I see myself constantly having to tell my girl to zip up the hoodie or the jacket or put her hands in her pockets because she wont wear gloves.. I saw it this afternoon. It’s an excellent film. When I was leaving I could hear other people discussing it and quite a few of them didn’t realize that the entire story was true and not “based on a true story”….even though it clearly said at the beginning that it was a true story… Hopefully when they went home did a little investigating and found out that everything in the movie really happened. Especially that part where the LAPD was throwing people in the psych ward to shut them up or force obedience. That was cold.

The dress cost $41.99. Your made up fantasies about Brad and Angelina are strange. No make that concerning.
I live in Desoto Tx. Friday was my day off work and I went to check out changeling at our regular movie theatre in this town, but to my suprise it was not showing there. Earlier that day my friend and I had stopped off at Barnes & Nobles for the W magazine which we had to ask for because it was not out front with all the other magazines including the tabloids. My friend had called earlier to see if they had it. the salesperson stated that they had about 60 W magazines with Angelina’s picture on the cover. When we arrived for the Magazine we were told that they would have to go in the back to get it , so she brought out one so we said we needed two and then she came back with three. I will check other movies houses to see changeling is showing in a nearby theatre.
While ignorance and bitterness are here whining and gnashing their ground down teeth over the happiness in the JP family, Brad and Angie and their kids are having the best life ever together as always.
Brad filmed in Berlin until late on the 28th, then hopped a commercial place to LAX and got his assets to Angie in LA as fast as he could on the 29th. Home for Brad will always be where ever his Angie is, and home for Angie will always be where ever her Brad is.
Oh, and as Jen herself said, said, “Brad is A love in my life, but he is not THE love of my life”. Jen ain’t missing Brad one bit.
So anyone who after 4 years is still moaning for poor Jen, get a life, poor Jen she ain’t. She is living the life she always wanted while you are here with no life. Stupid smuck!

I did see Changeling again yesterday with the boyfriend. I have to say that he enjoyed it as well. Even suggested we go back later in the week. Mind you, He is a guys movie man. The theater was over half full. Everyone was engrossed and seems to love the movie. People were clapping at certain parts, and you could hear some sniffles. I cried during several scenes. It is a very good film. Well worth your time and money. Even though the running time is over 2 hours, you don’t feel it at all.
I hope the fans on line will get out to see it, and support Angie.

…..To me a lot of the reviews of the movie were simply people over-analyzing. Even when you’ve got the scriptwriter saying he waded through over 6,000 pages of authentic documentation…they quibbled with the events and the telling of the story. JMS left the mother out of the story, so I’m surprised they didn’t then complain about that. Sometimes critics spend more time looking for things wrong with a movie than enjoying the things that are right with a movie - and that was clearly the case with Changeling.

Angie can never looks good without the help of makeup and syle professional and a lot of photo shop. Jennifer can go without makeup and her hair in a poney tail and still look flawlessly beautiful.
The only time Angie looks pretty is when professionals have been working on her for hours, she is a total hag without make–up, unlike jennifer who can go without make up and her hair in a poneytail and still look flawless.
PS. I saw the pictures of brad and Z trick or treating, it is very nice of him to let her do her own grocery shopping.

After two years, Roger Avery and Neil Gaiman (Beowulf) have officially stepped down as screenwriters of the big screen adaptation of Charles Burn’s graphic novel Black Hole. Gaiman tells MTV that when David Fincher signed on to develop/direct the project, he “explained his process consisted of having over ten drafts, done over and over.” The screenwriting duo were asked if they were interested in doing that. “And we definitely weren’t,” admits Gaiman.

When it comes to films and box offices, I never go with the numbers to decide whether a film bombed or did good. Because I live in a small town many films don’t reach our theater for weeks. We have yet to get BAR and I don’t even know when we will get the Changling. So to say that people are not showing up to see the films is not true its just that they haven’t reached us and so we haven’t had the chance to watch them yet. Believe me as soon as they do reach us I will be watching them all. In order to watch the films on opening night I have to travel an hour to the nearest large city to do that. And I did travel the hour to see Wanted when it came out ,I just did have the time to travel to see BAR or Changling. I read all the comments on how great she is in the film, that I can’t wait to see it.

Ha! I told you, homey -get an answering machine or voice mail. The wedding was fantabulous! I’m still laughing at Brad, Angie and the kids jumping fully clothed into the swimming pool. Okay…so what if it really came about because Shiloh pushed Pax in and Z jumped in to save her dancing partner…and Maddox jumped in because Z can’t really swim…and then Shiloh jumped in because all the other older kids were in the pool and she didn’t want to miss out on the fun…and then Brad and Angie had to take off the baby bjorns, give the twins to his parents and then jump in and save ALL FOUR of the kids. Pfffft. Minor detail. The point is - they ended up in the pool and had a blast!

This past Saturday, I was enjoying my nightly golden showers from Johnny Pee Mayer when “ALONG CAME” this denigrating SNL skit!

I’ll have to seriously go on the path of a “BREAK-UP” with my habit of watching SNL on Saturday nights, those oh lonely Saturday nights.
And to think, whenever I’m “TRAVELING” - the one TV show (other than Friends) that I religiously watch - is SNL.
It’s got to be the “MANAGEMENT” of SNL who is to blame by allowing this insulting satire of my movie star self!
I invoke the god “ALMIGHTY” to bring bad ratings to SNL from now on.

Melissa, you must be kidding me right, we all know maniston is the one that spends all her time tanning, bleaching her hair, wearing fake eye colour lenses, injecting botox, plastic surgery to pump up her lips, nipping her crocked nose, the list is endless and I could go on and last but not the least disguising that chin which looks like Egyptian pyramid with her fake colour extensions and still turn out with a face like a horse. Why do you think the men once they see the real maniston dump her ass so fast and then rat on her publicly for the grand finale public humiliation. what an idiot you are. i dont post regulary on angie’s posts (not after tht incident) but i really felt like i should say something. this film was released in not many theaters and that its one those smaller budget films (unlike….the obvious, HSM3). it also hasnt been widely promoted so what do you expect? its done reasonably well considering all the costs. and as for the ‘crap reviews’, you should really dig deep into the information being b-sing. check reviews OTHER than rotten tomatoes and look into canne festival ones.
She is so beautiful, it should be illegal. It’s hard to stop looking at her.
