Blake Lively is Cleopatra, Martha Stewart is Medusa
Blake Lively does her best Queen of the Nile, dressing up as Cleopatra, for a special Halloween edition of The Martha Stewart Show telecast on Halloween, October 31, 2008.
Martha dressed up as the Greek goddess Medusa with her intertwining snake hair. Together, the twosome were in the kitchen preparing pumpkin-chocolate marble cake.

Blake can actually pull the black hair off. But Medusa was never a goddess. She was a gorgon. A gorgon is a mythological monster. Love the costumes though. x

OMG.. for crying out loud.. How come she can’t read those Roman Numerals.. HHHHaaaahahah… MARTHA? since when MMVII reads as Martha?
I think Blake was spaced out and she thought MMVIII meant Martha because it would be something that the show would do (label the table they work on). I guess she never had to read a roman numeral clock, or that she doesn’t see the end of the shows that use (c) MMVIII so she could reason what it meant.
And Martha is sort of gutsy since Medusa is the monster that turned people to stone if you so much as stared at her. I guess she has a sense of humour even if people can make pot shots on her about this.
Medusa certainly WAS a Goddess- go to the country of Turkey and see her face on all the 1,000’s of children’s graves for PROTECTION. Male Historians warped her and all the Goddess’s to steal their power- read your Greek history and smarten up.
I’m shocked at the low mentality of people commenting in this column. People that put others down do it because they feel like a failure themselves. Martha looks fabulous and you know it…… what creative intelligent thing have you all done lately????
