OlderSarah Palin Gets Phone Pranked
Republican vice-presidential Sarah Palin found herself the butt of another joke Saturday afternoon during a phone call prank.
The “Masked Avengers”, Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel from the Montreal radio station CKOI, managed to get through to Palin posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
“I just love killing those animals. Hmm-hmm. Take away a life, that is so fun. I’d really like to go, as long as we don’t bring Vice-President Cheney,” Audette said, referring to an incident in which Dick Cheney shot a fellow hunter by accident.
“No, I’ll be a careful shot,” Palin responded with a laugh.
The prankster ends with: “If one voice can change the world for Obama, one Viagra can change the world for McCain.”

Ok, its NOT a fake French accent, its just not a European French accent, its a French Canadian accent. I think we can forgive her for not picking up on that.
What we cannot forgive her for is:
1. not catching on to all the little comments that make it 100% clear she is not talking to Sarkozy (the Nailin Pailin reference, the hunting comments, the joe the plumber song)
2. the Canadian Prime Minister is Stephen Harper (hell we just had an election a few weeks ago) and there is NO Quebec Prime Minister - she has no clue who the leader of the country next her country is, the country that the US just happens to do most of its trade with and the one she claimed to work closely with.
The call was amusing, but also scary as hell… imagine if this idiot gets into office.

Well, Jill, do you call out Obama when he thought there were 57 states along with his other gaffes? How about the stupidity of Biden who makes up history literally out of whole cloth? Did you call out Biden for being stupid when he claimed he claimed FDR was President in 1929 and that everyone watched him on TV in 1929?
Being diplomatic and kind to a phone caller int he midst of a hectic campaign when you are unsure of the true identity of the person is not stupid. It is rather smart to play it safe. It isn’t as if Palin discussed foreign secrets with the imposters.
One of the most disturbing aspects of this campaign has been the number of females willing to join in on the unrelenting misogyny and sexist attacks on Palin - and before her on Hillary Clinton. These women should be ashamed of themselves. I am ashamed of them.
