Even though I loved Brad & Angelina in MMS, it was just like BOOM :) fireworks, distraction, eye candy, intense chemisty. That’s all a little too much in a movie because you stop caring about what the movie is about LOL!!!!!!!! With Brad & Cate, the chemistry is different but still compatible. Their acting styles go together too. I’d like to see Brad & Angelina in a movie again one day but in a different way than MMS.

Brad and Cate are like Robert Redford and Meryl Streep, work very well together on screen. I cannot imagine Brad with anybody else but Angie and vice versa on a personal level. Their breathtaking red carpet appearances especially in Cannes last year and this year has erased any past images of them with their past exes.
The movie sounds so good with a lot of potential and maybe the best from David Fincher yet. I can’t wait but in the meantime as fans of Brad and Angie, let’s go watch The Changeling.

I love Brad Pitt. I will support all his movies. Can’t wait to see this one.

I just read a story on Angie’s UK Harper’s interview and to me it looks like the usual British cut-and-paste interview…even if the photo is new. Of course the quotes from the story come courtesy of a tab site because everytime there’s a new Angie story they break their necks tearing her apart…so take it with a grain of salt…

NEW YORK — In an interview recently given by Angelina Jolie, the actress says she “thinks the world” of Brad Pitt — but never slept with him, probably because “he smells badly.”

“We got on great,” Jolie says of her Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star, “but as far as touching each other in erotic places or sticking parts of our bodies into one another, I couldn’t do that with someone who smells badly.”

When asked what she thought was “badly” smelling about the handsome actor, she just made a face that looked like a face sniffing a stool.

Jolie’s publicist told the interviewer, “She isn’t saying he smells badly to anyone but her and even then it is just an opinion and the kind of opinion that, she is saying, would keep her from using her nostrils close to him, as she would if they had sex.

“Ms. Jolie is very sensitive to odors of all kinds and some things that others find pleasant to smell, she finds unpleasant.

“She often makes expressions like she is sniffing stools. It’s just her way.”

Some film historians say that Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, often made expressions like he was sniffing a stool and that he built his entire character in Midnight Cowboy by using the expression. “Watch it closely,” says film historian Bonnie Miraldo, “and you will see that Voight is making the stool-sniffing expression a lot, especially in the second half of the film.”

Pitt, 41, recently separated from Jennifer Aniston after 4 1/2 years of marriage. Aniston, 36, filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences, but nothing having to do with bad odors from her then husband.

Tabloids have speculated Jolie was having sex with Pitt and that hurt Pitt’s marriage. Pitt refused to talk at a recent press conference when asked if he bonked Jolie. Reporters did note, however, that there was a strange odor in the room when Pitt entered. But they thought it was just gas passed by Ed Norton, who was in the room eating Mexican food.

“I am not dating anybody,” says Jolie. “But I have my nostrils opened wide.”

Jolie’s marriages to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton ended in divorce, primarily because those two men each had three names and six between them.

Jolie has a four-year-old son and can just about command any man to crawl on his knees over shards of flaming glass to get near to her. But that guy better pass the smell test if he is going to stay around, she says.

I read the story on the UK link you gave earlier, and their “insider report” that Brad’s parents are upset with Angie for the W cover picture, and ask myself, who the hell writes these stories? Isn’t Brad the photographer for these pictures, so why, according to the “insider”, are the parents “mad’ at only Angie? And they wonder why X is hated more and more, because we all know that its because of her phoniness why Angie is still being persecuted all these years later.

Paramount Pictures has acquired graphic novel “The Killer” and will develop it as a directing vehicle for David Fincher.
Pic will be produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment and Alexandra Milchan.

Allesandro Camon will write the script, about a top assassin suddenly plagued by his conscience and a highly competent cop hot on his tail.

The graphic novel was written by Matz, whose real name is Alexis Nolent. The author works for Ubisoft, one of France’s biggest videogame companies. Luc Jacamon illustrated the novel, which was originally published in France in 1988 by Casterman and debuted in the U.S. as a 10-issue series published by Archaia Studio Press.

“The Killer” puts Fincher in line to make his third recent film for Paramount, where he helmed “Zodiac” and recently wrapped “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Latter film stars Pitt, with whom Fincher first worked on “Seven.”

If that was the point you were trying ot make you did a piss poor job of it. About 100 people here said the same thing LAST WEEK when the story came out. Why are you bringing it back up now if not to cause trouble on the blog?

The fact of the matter is - it’s not Brad’s fault the tabs blame everything on Angie anymore than it’s her fault that they do it. The initial report about Brad’s parents came from Star…and for that reason alone legitimate websites shouldn’t have bothered repeating it! LOL. I’m amazed at the number of gossip sites that repeat the stuff in the tabloids even though they KNOW for fact that 99.99% of it is made up. As someone else pointed out - the dumbest thing about the Star story is that Brad’s parents were in France when the photos were taken! Okay…that’s the second dumbest part - the dumbest part is that the Star wants us to believe that Brad’s parents would tell anyone outside their immediate family, whom they can trust not to talk, that they were upset with Brad/Angie over the photos. The Pitts are NOT people who put their business in the street and THAT is what annoys me about what the Star does repeatedly. They’re dragging innocent bystanders into their lies and turning THEM into tabloid fodder. Making up stories about Brad & Angie fighting, getting married, etc? GOD! when I think of how much some people pay every WEEK of respectable magazines & TABS - I know some people spend $200.+ dollars a month!

Finally, I rarely post - Mostly because I ignore stupid, rude & obnoxious people. The only reason I even scroll through these threads is because of links to articles, pics, vids, etc. that are new to me. It also helps when “special” issues of magazines (Hello!, People, W, etc. - “Shiloh’s birth”, “the Twins” & “Brad’s pics of Angie & the kids”) because they tend to sell out so quickly or aren’t available locally…

Technically, both films are in their second week. But “Changeling” opened in only a handful of major markets on Oct. 24 before going wide Friday and coming to Inland theaters. Nationwide, it is in 1,850 theaters, slightly more than half of the 3,626 theaters “High School Musical” is in.

“Changeling” took in $117,862 in 16 Inland theaters, for an average of $7,366 per theater, according to industry tracker Movie Marketplace.

Most top movies open in 26 or more Inland theaters.

Nationally, “Changeling” rose to No. 4 and earned $9,407,250, for an average of $5,085 per theater.

“Changeling” had its inception in the so-called Wineville “chicken coop murders” of the late 1920s. A chicken farmer in what is now Mira Loma kidnapped several boys and kept them as sex slaves before killing them. The farmer’s home still stands.

thanks Q4 for posting the Harpers article.. She pretty much states the same things about her children and people still get up in arms.. She had said a while back that Maddox is into collecting guns and is interested in army men, she had stated in NYT that she explains to them the meaning of the weapons and the use of force for right vs wrong… here she says again that she doesnt shield them from anything and teaches them that violence exists and there is war in the world. etc.. She had stated 2 years back that Mad gets to stay up later than the others since he was the oldest and that they sometimes watch news together.

Personally, she is doing a “Jolie” fine job of raising her kids.. with sensibility and good judgement.

Changeling was so very good. Angie should win an oscar for her role as Christine Collins. This is a movie you can’t stop thinking about for days after you have seen it. so will be seeing it again with 2 friends who have not seen the movie yet.
It’s next to impossible to not cry or get choked up wit the reality of this based on true events film. You go from feeling sad to feeling angry at how disgusting they treated CC because she is a woman.
It’s a must see and yes Angie was brilliant.. Not long into the film you forget it is Angie as she is Christine Collins thru and thru.
Powerful and emotionally charged..Well worth the money and the time.

Many people have voted early, encouraged by BHO, so there’s nothing they can do if developments between early voting day and election day could possibly make them change their minds.
Anyway, I don’t think many AA care about anything except voting for BHO because ‘he is one of us’ and ‘he looks like me.’ Just saw another AA woman on TV saying, ‘yes, race was the key factor, the most important factor’ for her.

I voted today and I hope McCain LOSES by a landslide. After 8 years of Republican fcukery this country - and the world - is in dire need of change. At this point I’d have voted for Godzilla as long as he wasn’t running on the Republican ticket!

I knew I was not going to change my mind. I am 100% commited to the votes I made. IMO , I voted for change based on expereince and proven track record to work with all parties to do what is best for this country.

A couple of people where I work are voting for the same reasons you cited , Orchard. They told me that they are owed this because of America’s past with slavery. In fairness, are plenty of others who are voting for who they think will be best for this country.
