Brad Pitt is Benjamin Button
A motorcycle-riding Cate Blanchett holds onto costar Brad Pitt in this new still from their upcoming movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. (They both look so gorgeous in the rehearsal shot below!)
Benjamin Button, out Christmas Day, is about a man who ages in reverse. As he grows younger, his love (Blanchett) grows older. Here’s a snippet from the NYT article:
Benjamin, as he says in his voice-over narration, “was born under unusual circumstances” on Nov. 11, 1918, the last day of World War I. As the doctor attending him describes the strange little creature, “He has all the deterioration, the infirmities, not of a newborn, but of a man well in his 80s on the way to his grave.”

IIRC Celebitchy is a British site. They really believe a huge percentage of the crap their own tabloids print, so of course they have no problem lending credence to the likes of Star, US, etc.
dianad1968 @ 11/03/2008 at 9:46 pm
That twat who runs Celebitchy has the brains of a demented donkey. She quotes this crap from Star and NE as if it was gospel. Posts the lamest-ass threads I’ve ever seen in my life and pontificates on them as if she was some kind of genius. At least Michael K has a sense of humor.
The producers are certainly trying to promote Marley and me. I’ve seen at stores such as Target carry the latest Marley and Me books( new version with Aniston, Owen and dog on cover). I think may have seen a child version of the story in one of those small learning to read books. The appeal is the dog for the people who choose to see this movie.
dianad1968 @ 11/03/2008 at 9:46 pm - Girl, u need to give up on that site..LOL!
This idiot who doesn’t really like them, took her baby on a cold day outside the IB set for over 4 hrs just so she could see Brad.
Jill,
PT, I think the moderator lives in Berlin, because I know she was trying to see Brad on set last week.
QQQQ,
Oh my God, I have been trying to say hi to you for the longest time, but we always seem to miss each other.
You are right, I have to stop going to that site, its becoming more and more ridiculous and biased.

You mean there is a real dog in it? When they referred to it with a dog as the star, I naturally thought they mean’t X.

loveyoulose @ 11/03/2008 at 2:29 pm “David Fincher tackling STDs, not like herpes, worse,” is the imagined, beaded brow pitch to the studio. It worked. The director of the Oscar-shunned modern masterpiece Zodiac, as well as Fight Club, is attached to direct a film based on the comics-turned-acclaimed graphic novel, Black Hole, by Charles Burns. Brad Pitt’s Plan B is producing the project, but like DiCaprio’s Akira, no official word if Pitt is involved to star. Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman were set to adapt the screenplay in 2006, but no word if Fincher is doing his own thing here.
Neil Gaiman and Roger Avery Leave Black Hole
After two years, Roger Avery and Neil Gaiman (Beowulf) have officially stepped down as screenwriters of the big screen adaptation of Charles Burn’s graphic novel Black Hole. Gaiman tells MTV that when David Fincher signed on to develop/direct the project, he “explained his process consisted of having over ten drafts, done over and over.” The screenwriting duo were asked if they were interested in doing that. “And we definitely weren’t,” admits Gaiman.
Fincher still has their last draft of the script, but Burns tells Shock that the Gaiman/Avery script is “not going to be used.” And instead, Fincher has apparently brought another writer on to the project. But does anyone know who the new screenwriter is?
Set in the 1970s, Black Hole is a 12-issue comic book miniseries that tells the story of a bunch of teenagers who catch “the Bug,” a fictional, incurable STD that causes them to develop hideously grotesque physical deformities, turning the infected teens into social outcasts. “What we become witness to instead is a fascinating and eerie portrait of the nature of high school alienation itself - the savagery, the cruelty, the relentless anxiety and ennui, the longing for escape. And then the murders start.”

Paramount, Fincher catch ‘Killer’
‘Zodiac’ director to take on graphic novel
Michael Fleming
Paramount Pictures has acquired graphic novel “The Killer” and will develop it as a directing vehicle for David Fincher.
Pic will be produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment and Alexandra Milchan.
Allesandro Camon will write the script, about a top assassin suddenly plagued by his conscience and a highly competent cop hot on his tail.
The graphic novel was written by Matz, whose real name is Alexis Nolent. The author works for Ubisoft, one of France’s biggest videogame companies. Luc Jacamon illustrated the novel, which was originally published in France in 1988 by Casterman and debuted in the U.S. as a 10-issue series published by Archaia Studio Press.
“The Killer” puts Fincher in line to make his third recent film for Paramount, where he helmed “Zodiac” and recently wrapped “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Latter film stars Pitt, with whom Fincher first worked on “Seven.”

I just read jenny poo interview at the LA times and i must say, she’s as dumb as a box of rocks, SNL pegged her right, for a good laugh go read it, people mag has a link.

Okay…I sucked it up and read the LA Times story. Not only does sh enot have nothing to say, but she can’t even be brief about it.
Here’s the thing that pissed me off - every story about Angie denegrates into her “wildchild” days and the litany of what is supposedly her strange behavior. Yet this story on X doesn’t make any reference at all to her whroing around the last 4 years, not being able to keep a man, constant ass & cooch displays and other publicity seeking behavior and no mention that 3 of the 4 movies she’s made in the last year haven’t seen the light of day and 2 of them never will.. AND she gets referred to as a “movie star”? Beeyotch, please. Julia Roberts is a “movie star”. Cameron Diaz is a “movie star”. ANGIE is a “movie star”. X is in movies. Period.
dianad1968 @ 11/03/2008 at 10:34 pm - How is it going? Have u seen Changeling yet… what are your thoughts?

Cate Blanchette is a good actress, and I love the fact that she and Brad have a great working relationship, evidenced by their numerous projects together.
…BRAD LOOKS HOT ON A MOTORCYCLE…and on ANYTHING, as usual!!!….love him!!
…ALSO….SEE CHANGELING……it’s a brilliant acting job by our Angie!
The following are reasons Angelina will be NOMINATED FOR AN OSCAR is based on the following scenes from CHANGELING…
SPOILERS AHEAD….SPOILERS AHEAD…..SPOILERS AHEAD….SPOILERS AHEAD……SPOILERS AHEAD……SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
-scene where Angelina’s character Christine Collins comes home to find her son missing, then calls the police……the tremor in her voice and fear in her eyes while she is speaking to the police was heartbreaking.
-scenes where Angelina’s character is roller skating at her job as a supervisor, and where she is walking and running for the bus…the way she’s holding her body….such an unassuming and humble way just like that of a 1920 mother, and where she is speaking in a small wispy voice, so unlike her own deep powerful voiced persona in real life and previously on screen. This is a departure from her normally overt feminine energy she usually exudes in films.
-scene at the end of the movie where Angelina is on the other side of a glass listening to the boy who escaped version of events at the Wineville Chicken Ranch…….at the end when he reunites with his parents as Angie’s character looks on, you see all the anxst she must feel watching them hug each other with love, and probably wishing that her son was there for her to reunite with as well……the look in her eye and the tears she shed were painfully real to me….and that breath she lets out was gutwrenching…..brilliant.
THE FOLLOWING SCENES ARE REASONS WHY ANGELINA SHOULD WIN THE OSCAR!!!!!!!
-THE SCENE WHERE ANGIE IS IN THE OFFICE WITH THE POLICE CAPTAIN TRYING TO TELL HIM THE BOY THEY GAVE HER IS NOT HER SON….AND HER VOICE TAKES ON THIS GUTTERAL OUTRAGED SOUND AS SHE YELLS….”I’M NOT RUNNING AWAY FROM ANYTHING…LEAST OF ALL MY RESPONSIBILITIES…I’M EVEN TAKING CARE OF THAT..BOY..CAUSE I’M ALL THAT HE HAS!!”…AT ONE POINT SHE LEANS DOWN INTO THE FACE OF THE SITTING CAPTAIN AND PLEADS WITH HIM TO CONTINUE LOOKING FOR HER SON…(TO NO AVAIL)….THE DESPERATION IN HER VOICE, EXPRESSION, AND BODY IS RIVETTING!
-THE SCENE WHERE ANGIE’S CHARACTER IS INSIDE AN OFFICE GETTING EVALUATED BY THE ‘PSYCHOLOGIST’ AT THE PSYCH WARD, AND HE IS TWISTING EVERYTHING SHE SAYS TO MAKE HER APPEAR MENTALLY IMBALANCED….YOU TRULY SEE THE EFFORT HER CHARACTER IS MAKING TO STAY CALM, KEEP HER ANGER IN CHECK, AND HER CONFUSION AT WHY THIS HORRIBLE SITUATION IS HAPPENING TO HER…..IT WAS BRILLIANT ACTING AT WORK.
-THE SCENE WHERE ANGIE IS VISITING THE KILLER IN PRISON, AND CONTINUES ASKING HIM THE QUESTION OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN VARYING DEGREES OF ANGER, AND ESCALATING DEGREES OF DESPERATION. QUIET DISGUST, TURNS TO QUIET ANGER WHICH TURNS TO STATED ANGER WHICH TURNS TO DESPERATE ANGER…..
STAY TUNED FOR THE BEST ACTRESS NOMINATION AND WIN….ANGIE’S NAME IS WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!!!!!!!!
whohooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!…….I cant wait!..

Meanwhile, insiders says the actress, 33, reportedly upset Brad Pitt’s parents by posing on the cover of a magazine, breastfeeding her new twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
An insider claims: ‘Brad’s mum feels they’re using their children as a marketing campaign tool and thinks it’s unacceptable.’
***********************************************************************************************
Incredible! HE takes the pictures of her and her children and HIS PARENTS are upset at her?!
Just goes to show Brad Pitt is the worst thing that ever happened to Angelina. At least with BBT, the tabs never tried to pin everything on her. And I don’t think BBT was sneaky with his PR the way Brad is and his people always throw everything at Angelina’s feet.
Fcuk. I couldn’t even make through the Peeps article without passing Through @ 11/03/2008 at 9:58 pm
gagging. There’s no way I’m going to read the LA Time interview. Who the fcuk talks like this? IT’S A MOVIE ABOUT A FRISKY PUPPY! IT’S NOT SHAKESPEARE! Sheesh…no wonder Brad used to smoke so damned much pot. Just reading this shite makes me want to get wasted…
“Owen Wilson is so divine in this film,” the actress tells the L.A. Times. “I’ve never seen him play a part like this. He was a man; he was a husband; he was a father.”
==========
Hmmm, only good words for her costar and production co.but let’s wait and see, if that film flop, she will be blaming Owen , the enviroment, ,the script, the director or even the dog. just not me!
QQQQ,
No, unfortunately I haven’t seen it yet. I had to work this weekend, but will try to go next week. I am so looking forward to seeing it, but I am sure I will be crying my eyes out.
Brad Pitt collaborations with David Fincher
I think you guys should resign yourselves to Marley and Me being a success. It’s silly to wait for it to flop. It’s a dog movie being released at Christmas. Slam dunk. My mom and cousin both squeed over the dog cut out at the theater this weekend. But it would make money no matter who was cast in it. So I don’t see it helping Jen’s career out much. Although, with how pathetic her other projects are, even getting a film to the theaters has to be counted as a success for her.
#191 my take @ 11/03/2008 at 10:58 pm …GMAB!!!This stupid story came from Star magazine.Hello,if you believe this then I have some swamp land to sell you in Florida.God, these trolls are such “drama” queens! Are you people that damn bored?
Thank you BDJ and everyone else who posted articles today.
Thanks Jared for the new thread. I can’t wait to see this movie

You missed the point of my post. My POINT is even when Pitt is the architect (pun intended) of this latest storm in a teacup , the tabs still manage to make it about Angelina and he gets left out of the equation.
#199 my take @ 11/03/2008 at 11:31 pm …That’s because Jen’s fans are tabloid hags.(tabloid buying hags at that)Certain women like to hate on other women.I done with this due to the fact not in the mood for your Brad hating.Started my Christmas shopping today, looking forward to the holidays NOT hating.

Is she in Berlin? I just assumed she was in England because at one point the site had a “.uk” designation in it’s name.
She really tried to see Brad last week? ROTFL. Beats the hell out of me why. Like 4Q just said - she doesn’t really like Brad or Angie…she just puts up posts about them because they get hits…just like every other blogger on the planet (excluding Jared).
# 191 my take @ 11/03/2008 at 10:58 pm
The worst thing to ever happen to Angie is dumbfucks like you PRETENDING to be her fan. Other than that, she’s rolling in clover.
