Orlando Bloom Supports Barack Obama
Orlando Bloom wants you to vote for change, as shown in the latest PSA. Here’s what the 33-year-old British actor had to say:
“Hey, I’m Orlando Bloom. I’m here in the Obama California headquarters… Barack Obama, for me, is head and shoulders above anyone else and it’s time for change and he brings the hope of the country.”
He just lost Carrie Underwood as a fan. She certainly would not approve this message.

# 22 Jes @ 11/04/2008 at 1:16 pm I doubt he’s even an American citizen.
He doesn’t pay taxes here, at least full taxes.
So be quiet, Orlando, and stop meddling in our affairs.
Vote for Obama and you’ll see your taxes go so high you won’t be able to afford milk at the store. He and Biden even want the UN to be able to tax Americans. Nice.

sorry but the american political is like the world political. remember your still president george bush made a stupid and idiotic war in irak killed millions and millions of inocent people and none of those person was american.
to me mccain and bush are like nazis and obama is a perfect product of marketing but is still a conservation president and of course I prefer obama over mccain.
is Bloom llowed to vote in our country?
isn’t he British?
You children are so stupid, it embarrasses me as a fellow US citizen.
News flash, all you numbnuts: this election is choosing the leader of the FREE WORLD.
If you think that doesn’t affect EVERY person, regardless of citizenship, then you’re too stupid to even be vcoicing an opinion on UustJared, much less actually casting a ballot.

@ shenanyginz: he is indeed 31-years-old.
afghans&irakis are american citizens? No but that didn’t prevent you to dictate your will …
Wow, some of you are cruel. He’s just voicing his opinion. I understand he’s british but many actors from all over the world are speaking up. It kind of affects everyone especially actors who work in america. If you don’t like what he’s saying cool. But name calling is pretty immature.
Thank goodness this election is almost over. I’m so tired of reading about celebrities and their political opinions. They need to shut up, keep it to themselves and leave their opinions in the voting booth.
Gee, what would the Brits think of American actors doing PSAs supporting British candidates in British elections?
The Democratic party is hostage to Hollywood; the Republican to the Religious Right…no wonder the moderates of both parties are annoyed.

the british goberment is not like the us goberment, thanks god. and the british people is not like the american people, thanks god.
I think you have not so much idea of the image that in europe we have about your president and the americans:
bush is like bin laden and the americans are stupid this is the basic idea in europe about you.
Who really cares who Bloom would like to see as our next president. Celebrities will be sorry about their decision when Obama wants to tax those who make higher incomes, which he does, he wants to cut taxes for those who have lower incomes and have higher taxes for those with higher incomes. And if anyone thinks Obama can really change things the way his campaigning would lead you to believe, then obviously you haven’t done your research and don’t understand the whole political process. You’ve been sucked in by his empty rhetoric (basically ranting and raving…I think he took some clues from JFK in that department) There are still so many questions about this man. No one can question John McCain’s devotion to his country, that’s for sure. He is a true American. If anyone thinks that the economy is the result of something GWB did, think again, you need to go a bit further back (like to the Clinton administration) to find where the blame truly lies) Wake up people. Does Bloom think it’ll sway someone’s decision. Only idiots would give any weight to his or any celebrity’s opinion about politics.
Orlando…..SHUT UP! Who cares what you think? Go follow your own politics in GB. Leave us alone.

Don’t try to talk for all Europeans, you silly leftist punk.
I’m one Euro who is perfectly willing to let Americans choose their own prez. They don’t need our advice. McCain is no worse than Obama, despite the latter’s humongous cult of personality. They are both politicians, no matter what star struck and vapid young celebs tell you.
Few years from now, everyone will be wondering why they ever mistook Barack for the messiah.
But it is the US election, and the Americans get to vote. No one else. And that’s the way it should be.

Greatest nation in the world (even with all its problems). Others are nice to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. We don’t get involved in your politics and elections, why do you feel it’s necessary to get involved in ours.
like it or no but by your fault this election concerns almost the whole world since you pretend to dictate your conception of”democracy”to others countries and since my country is in Irak with your troops
Event though I think that Obama and Mccain are the same in fact (cfr members) and they already showed that by their speech in front of AIPAC who’s the real winner in any case
He’s been an American citizen or not, doesn’t madder, because he lives here and he can support who he want to. And I also agree with # 29, because the American political in fact affect all the world.
I just didn’t understand why Carrie Underwood is in this article.
he’s not even american citizen!
Are Heidi Klum, Seal and Orlando even eligible to vote?
Who gives a shiit what Orlando Bloom has to say?
He is not even a US citizen! Go away!
Orly!!! I love you even more!!! I am support Obama too and I’m so surprised and happy that you are supporting him! You are a smart guy!! I’m just sad because you didn’t called my house asking me for a vote. :-)
You know what, I’m not an american either but I support Barack Obama. Whoever you guys vote to be your president it will make a difference not just in your country but in the WORLD. So I think we are entitled to an opinion even if we can’t vote.
For sure this guy is a clown so is Fluff Daddy, so is Lohan, so is Beoyonce, so are heidi and spencer…carrie underwood got it right. The message that should be getting out is the importance to educate yourself and vote for the person YOU feel is the best representation of our country. We vote in private for a reason, public endorsements outside the realm of politics are annoying and pointless. Obama is going to win today becasue the idiot kids are voting for him cause their favorite star says to…
I’m Republican and still his fan! After all it’s just his opinion!
well considering everything that happens in America affects everyone and every other country in the world he should be aloud to at least voice his poinion like every other star has done!!!!!!!
Americans should stop being so selfish in thinking that it only involves them
