Robert Pattinson takes over Planet Hollywood with a special hand print ceremony in New York City on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old Twilight actor recently admitted in a Q&A session that he’d prefer to see Bella with Jacob, rather than with his character Edward: “I’d go with Jacob [for Bella]. Jacob is way more interesting…If you have a girlfriend that’s like Edward…yeah, you’re hot and everything, but just shut up.”
The Twilight cast is taking their show on the road too! Robert, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and others from the highly anticipated movie are coming to malls across the country as part of the Hot Topic Twilight Tour.

Anyway, no, I don’t hate Edward. I like him all right. I hate his fangirls and I hate all this “Rob just said that for publicity, there’s no way he’s team jacob”. why folks isn’t he ALLOWED to like jacob better? I do. plus, edward and jacob even become friends in the end, so if you really “loved” him as much as you do… you wouldn’t be bashing jacob like that, don’t you think?

Jeez. I used to be a total sap and stuff, but these girls are crazy. It’s scaring me O__O. Smeyer loves Jacob, so you’re obviously reading his character all wrong. Reading all of these posts causes me to question how many of you actually read the series. I wish more than anything that I could return to the point where it wasn’t a ‘trend’ to like Twilight. I now have to explain to people that I am not a looney fangirl.
Jacob happened to be my favorite character, although I liked Edward as well. I just found Edward a little too perfect for my taste. If you read the series then you would know that even Edward thought Jacob was a healthier option for Bella.
As for Rob, he HAS read the books. I believe he hasn’t read Breaking Dawn yet, and as a reader isn’t he allowed to enjoy other characters besides his own?
