First Celebrity Reactions Of Obama Win
Below are the very first celebrity reactions of Barack Obama’s winning the race for the White House. Among the 125,000 people at Tuesday’s victory rally were Brad Pitt and a tearful Oprah Winfrey. Here we go:
Oprah: “There are not even words to talk about what this night means. It’s one of the greatest moments I could ever imagine. That’s how great it is.”
Madonna: “I’m so f—ing happy right now”
Lindsay Lohan: “YES WE CAN.”
Samantha Ronson: “YES WE DID!!”
Kanye West: “HI MOM, OBAMA WON!” (His mom passed away about a year ago.)
Usher: “Isn’t this incredible news? Man, this is incredible. It’s so incredible to see that this historical thing has happened.”

that .gif is epic lulz
I voted for obama, but the celebrity comments from people like Oprah really piss me off. He’s not god, he’s a politician!!!
America made a bad choice and we will pay for it. I wouldn’t be surprised is Obama is hiding Ben Laden in his basement. I will also be surprised if Obama survives to swear in come January.
wohoo im so happy that he wins !! it’s uncredible ,i want to thank all the americans who voted for him thank you ! im proud of you guys, you made history ,a real example to all the world , a change from the humain being damages from the finacial damages under the murder dog of Bush, and a change from getting isolated and hated around the world, it’s over now ! yes you did it ! a new hope, a new air breathing, and a huge fever love from the wolrd !
From Algeria.
**** kanye, lindsay and her bf or gf, and usher
but yes im glad obama won
I just want to say thanks to all the people of America who made this happen. Thanks to all the foreigners who supported Obama! This proves that good truly out weighs evil. And by no way do I mean McCain was evil. I’m referring to all the racists people out there. (How ya’ll feeling this morning? Sick I bet.) Obama can’t change the world by himself, it’s going to take all of us. Man it feels like I woke up on another planet today! I pray that those still walking in the dark, holding on to the terrible beliefs of your forefathers, finally wake up and see that the world is moving with or without you. It’s time for the new generations around the world to start running things. It’s a new day everybody, let’s show each other love because we all family. Peace!
I am sorry to be a kill joy but not every one around the world is happy he was elected. I am not happy because I really listened to him talk about change and hope and make promises he can not keep. He stress about the highest deficit in history but purpose plans that will add to it. No I am not an American nor am I white. But what a lot of people fail to realize is that what ever decisions he make will affect not only America but a majority of Caribbean countries and other countries around the world because things are going to get a lot worse before the get any better. His position is really still not known. Also he changes his beliefs to please people when ever he was called out on statements made. God forbid he makes a decision and other world leaders take an offense. Any one who was educated or works in an accounting or economic field will let you know up front that his plans don’t add up and will only hurt the economy more. I too was waiting for the day to see the first elected black President of USA but he is not the one. I can be wrong but I believe blacks stuck to voting color to make history and for promises that seem appealing to them but in reality it only mislead the black population. Like any other politician he said what he felt to get him elected. His plans he promises made will not come through and he will change them over his time in office to save face but by then it would be too late and that would hurt the chances of there being any another black President. (If my English seems a little off I apologize)
Response to #91
I agree with alot of things you’re saying. This is truly a step in the right direction, but sadly it’s only a small one. Our problems are far bigger than Obama. It’s still good to see the change in people hearts though.
And for #104: We are not worried about you racists ********. You couldn’t keep him from getting in the White House, and now you mad. Grow up! I was taught to love my enemies, that means you too. But don’t forget there’s a thin line between love and hate. If ya’ll even think about trying something, it’s on! You’ll get dealt with by ANY MEANS NECESSARY! And I mean ANY! You can try us if you wanna, but it’ll be your last day on Earth. (No offense to all the smart people on Earth, but sometimes you have to let these chumps know what’s up!) Once again Peace! (And that’s what it better be.)
haha I love that picture!
Go Obama! Good for you America!

I’m so happy, there’s a first black person to represent America, that knows how to handle their strength’s and weakness’s.
The more I see him, the more I want him, to dedicate his amazing political views with us :)

GO CELEBS!!! way to speak it out =)
WOW.
oprah cried :S
yikes!:@
Best day in America in recent years. Bless!!!
I htink that judging anyone because of their race is not only ridiculous but very damging to America. I know that there are many people who didnt vote for Obama because he is black, but there are PLENTY of people who ONLY VOTED FOR HIM because of that!!
Grow up, learn where people stand on the issues, and make an INFORMED decision. get over the whole black, white, OR BI-RACIAL thing. In the end.. hell evenin the beginning it wont matter the color of his skin, but the job he does.
This entire election has been about race the entire time adn I would go as far to say that more than half of the people in this country voted on a person because of his race.. either for or against.
America really needs to get back to what really matters.. and not get caught up by a man who is eloquent. We all need to realize that when people make uneducated decisions its going to have consequences regardless.
oh yeah.. and #89.. the president is in command over our ENTIRE military and you think experience doenst matter??? You are just the kind of person im talking about! GET INFORMED!! Gosh.
Obama winning is a repudiation of the inefficient, crusty conservative congress that has been like a cancer in this country the past 8 years.
There is no way that if a real, true, republican was in this election that this fool actually would have won. The republican party has lost its compass and should be ashamed that they lost to this piece of sh*t dirty Chicago politico.
John McCain is a spoiled, little brat just like GWB. He was the son of a high ranking military official which is probably the only reason he got to fly during Vietnam. Stupid idiot got shot down and couldn’t even do that right.
Choosing between these two was like choosing between two different diseases. The public has been sold a lie that this is a new day. Keep being complacent as you watch your personal freedoms slowly being stripped away under the guise of, “that it is better, or for your protection.” Sad day for America.
Kristy says:
“Also, in response to “someone else,” I dont recall a time when a bank wanted to plot a terrorist attack and actually kill our citizens. Hm… if you find that precedent, let me know. And, to say that the banks are holding us to debt I have to wonder… “when you opened that bank account or credit card, I didn’t know Bank of America sent a person to your home and held a gun to your head to do so.” Or, when you decided to take on that mortgage that Wells Fargo sent a death threat to your home that said “take on this mortgage or else.”
My point is that DEBT is only inflicted by those who carry it… THE PERSON. Not the bank. Not the government. YOU… YOU WHO CARRY THE DEBT.”
—————-
How about that 10 trillion in debt that the country is currently sitting on? Where do you think all of that money comes from, thin air? The Fed has been printing funny money for far too long and eventually we will pay for it. Its only a matter of time before the bottom drops out.
This fiat money is not backed by anything but the governments word - GREAT. This national debt isn’t going to just disappear, and our wonderful president elect Obama is planning to tack another 4 trillion on. There is no way that he could cut government spending enough to ever justify 4 trillion in spending. It is only a matter of time before his lavish plans begin to get cut.
Don’t kid yourself, investment bankers run this country and they are holding the public hostage to an extent. It is just not about personal debt anymore, but the country deficit as a whole.
OBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAA WE LOVE YOU I AM SO HAPPY THAT I AM STILL ON EARTH WHEN HISTORY WAS MADE NOW WE CAN PAY A REASONABLE AMOUNT TO GET IN COLLEGE ! Indeed, you should credit her.
Wow, so much bitterness from some of the posters. UNAVOIDABLE FACT: The decision has been made, and it’s over now. We ALL should be focusing on accepting what has occurred, giving Barack a chance, and ultimately, doing our best to unite as a country.
