OlderMiley Cyrus: My First Job Was Cleaning Toilet Bowls
Miley Cyrus was surprised at her sweet-sixteen birthday party by Tyra Banks at Disney Land on October 5th. She dished to Tyra on everything from cars to boys.
The 15-year-old popstar (her 16th birthday is actually Nov. 23rd) tells The Tyra Banks Show that her first ever job was cleaning toilets!
She shared, “I had one normal job and I actually liked it. I worked at this place called Sparkles Cleaning Service and I cleaned houses, I was like 11…I can clean toilet bowls.”
Miley also revealed her dream car: “I want it [Mercedes] black and then just the little Mercedes signs to be pink…and I would like the stitching and steering wheel to be pink.”

Miley also tops the list of performers at the 82nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27th. Other performers include David Archuleta, Kristen Chenoweth, James Taylor, The Cheetah Girls, Darius Rucker and Trace Adkins.

at 32 please….she got where she is because her dads famous…I have much more respect for Selena than miley…she originally wasn’t even up for Hannah Montana it was gonna go to Emily Osment(sp?) but oh noes the famous guys daughter should get it….that will boost the ratings.

First of all, did you even read what I said? I wasn’t talking about her singing and acting talents, I was talking about doing the work and effort. Not anybody could do it because some people would be exhausted and lazy to. Miley works hard, whether you like her or not.

It is awful how low our society is sinking. All we care about is bashing and criticizing others like it doesn’t mean a thing. No wonder there’s so much suicide in the world. I don’t see how anything Miley said in this interview is annoying. She had a job, wow, annoying. She wants a car, oh my gosh, she’s so spoiled, yet she makes tons of money.
Also Miley had to audition for HM like any other child did. She was rejected at first but then reconsidered and the rest is history. No help from daddy.
i dont get why people think miley got where she is riding on her daddys coattails(if anything, billy ray is riding on hers right now!) im 17 and i honestly didnt know billy ray was the one who wrote achy breaky heart. 17 people, that is not the age of the majority of HM fans, fans are generally the ‘tweens’ and younger with other ages sporadically in it.
achy breaky heart is one of those hits where you know youve heard it, you know certain parts of the song, but it is not a classic where people know the singer and all the lyrics. not everyone knows it and not everyone knew of billy ray, especially not the little kids. so i dont get how billy ray made miley a shoe in for HM when it took her i think she said like a year of auditioning because they thought she was too young. she got shot down before she got the role people, she worked for it.
and dont act as if mileys job now is easy and she doesnt deserve all the money. ill agree with you if you say celebrities get paid too much, but isnt that partially the consumers faults? everyones job is different and dont go acting as if you could do her job when you know nothing about it, you are not celebrities. she worked for her money just like any other celebrity(well most anyways) so dont call her spoiled when she wants a car when its probably coming from her own well-earned money.
