Brad Pitt Munches at Mercer Kitchen
A mustache-wearing Brad Pitt grabs dinner at the trendy Mercer Kitchen inside SoHo’s Mercer Hotel in New York City on Thursday night.
Always the gentleman, the helpful 44-year-old actor was seen letting a woman pushing a baby stroller pass before entering the restaurant.
Brad is keeping his mustache for his role in Quentin Tarintino’s Inglourious Basterds. The upcoming ensemble war film/spaghetti western is expected to be released in time for release at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2009.
UPDATE: It seems Brad was just walking into the Mercer Hotel but dined at Il Cantinori.

I think when Angie said her kids could “watch a movie where their parents fall in love,” she was speaking about John & Jane Smith falling in love, not her and Brad. Just as in a previous interview she said it would be weird for her kids to watch MMS and see their parents when they first met and bickering etc. That statement was taken out of context JMO.

The last I read sales were still way down across the board. I don’t know about Peeps though. Their numbers had actually increased in the last ABC report. They were up either 5 or 7%. Peeps and OK were the only mags who’s sales had increased. Us was down slightly, about 2%, but AMI rags (Star & NE) and the Bauer rags (OuttaTouch & Lies & Shite) were all gasping for air and trying to keep from going down for the last time. I read on Gawker about 2 months ago that AMI was pretty close to filing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy - so let’s all keep that in our prayers…
Will, Tom, katie, Whiny, throw in the kitchen sink trolls. Too funny. BP and AJ are the standards. Will is box office king and deserve his own thread and props. No need to compare on a BP and AJ thread. You can to their thread and not the other way around. Therefore, BP and AJ own you.

Am Media has been barely hanging for years. The meltdown in the US economy has been the final straw. Tabs are not a necesessity when people are out of work, 401k disappearing, losing homes. I don’t know how they thought they were going to pay for Radar.com, look for lawsuits over nonpayment of contract terms of this sale. The tabloids with all their bad news and outright lies are not selling, and that is a great byproduct of this sad US economic meltdown. Markets imploiding again today, people want some good news and tabs don’t deliver that. Love seeing the stacks of tabs that are pulled off the shelves unsold.
Most of the tabs may go under with the conditions that exist today, and I won’t miss them one bit. There are no funds to leverage the debts of Am Media. Good riddance to them and their staff that lurk here. Micky D’s is also hiring, people must eat.
