Brad Pitt Munches at Mercer Kitchen
A mustache-wearing Brad Pitt grabs dinner at the trendy Mercer Kitchen inside SoHo’s Mercer Hotel in New York City on Thursday night.
Always the gentleman, the helpful 44-year-old actor was seen letting a woman pushing a baby stroller pass before entering the restaurant.
Brad is keeping his mustache for his role in Quentin Tarintino’s Inglourious Basterds. The upcoming ensemble war film/spaghetti western is expected to be released in time for release at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2009.
UPDATE: It seems Brad was just walking into the Mercer Hotel but dined at Il Cantinori.

AMI MISSES A PAYMENT: The clock is ticking on American Media Inc. as the company failed to make an interest payment worth approximately $20 million to bondholders last Saturday and now has 30 days (from Nov. 1) to make that payment or it will default on all of its debt due to a cross default provision in its debt agreements. AMI, which publishes Shape, The National Enquirer and Star, among others, said Tuesday it has sufficient cash to make the payment and David ******, chief executive officer, said: “We are in the midst of constructive discussions with lenders holding more than a majority of the borrowings under our credit facilities and bondholders holding more than a majority of each series of our bonds to achieve a financial restructuring of American Media that would include a significant deleveraging of American Media. Our board of directors and existing equity holders are fully supportive of these discussions and we are hopeful that these discussions will be successfully completed shortly.” On Tuesday, the New York Post reported that president and chief operating officer John Miller resigned.
Back in August, AMI said it was potentially refinancing its notes and giving bondholders the possibility of warrants for the company’s stock. The refinancing incorporated a combination of $250 million of senior notes due in 2013, $15.9 million of special senior subordinated discount notes due in 2013 and up to $340 million of mandatory, convertible senior subordinated discount notes, also set to mature in 2013. AMI set a deadline of Sept. 25 — a day that came and went without any decision or agreement with bondholders. — Amy Wicks

I like Will. If he’s hiding his gay, so what? He’s not the first major star to do that and he won’t be the last. If this becomes a lynching issue for him then it’s going to be because he’s the first really huge black actor to command the box office with EVERY film he puts out. He should have seen this coming. No matter your race - when you achieve this level of success…people WILL go the extra mile to topple you. He didn’t need to go far for an example of that. All he had to do was look at what happened with Tiny Tom. Tiny Tom IMPLODED, yes, but the gay rumors have dogged him HARD the last 15 years. That was the beginning of the end of box office domination for Tiny Tom - and I suspect it’ll be the same with Will.

The NE says Brad’s afraid to answer the phone because X is going to rip him a new one over Angie contacting her…and then the Star turns around and says that X is calling Brad to thank him for letting her cry on his shoulder after getting dumped again. And for any naysayers out thre - both stories give specific datelines…THE SAME DATES! So which is it American Media? Lies, I tell ya…they’re all lies! LOL!

Brad probably is already doing some promotional work for TCCOBB at the States because by the time it opens he´ll be in Germany filming Inglorious ********. He has every right to go out alone without Angie. That doesn´t mean he and Angie have broken up. She and the kids sure were back at a hotel in NYC. These kind of accusations make me feel really sick. And the rags sell copies with this kind of stories. Like Angie said recently she and Brad don´t give much attention to the rumors. They know the truth and that´s the only thing that matters. They are private people and have every right to ignore the ugly rumors. I for one don´t believe much of the stories written about them.

So tired i am sick from being on this board what seems like forever these last few weeks.
I have been doing my level best to get the word out that Brad is a drunk. You see it means money to me and i am so broke my hubby left me well er he was a drunk too or i thought he was but turns out he is a social drinker. The prricck left me for a young thing who treats him like a king.
